  1. More juicy stretch goals! James SherriffCreator November 16, 2019 Thanks to all you wonderful backers making this campaign such a runaway success, we have had to scurry about planning some additional stretch goals for you. We feel it is only fair that, because you are obviously extremely awesome people, you get the opportunity to have even more cool stuff! So over the past couple of days, myself and Ian have been busy working out what stretch goals to add. Alternative cards are great, and we know you love them, but we thought maybe we could offer a little something else. Something like signed art prints, perhaps...? And so we present to you, our fantastic backers, two more stretch goals to tease, tantalise and maybe encourage you to share the Grim Tarock campaign even further! :) STRETCH GOAL: £12,500 - SIGNED ART PRINT ADD-ON That's right, folks. This art print will be signed by Ian Miller and available as an add-on for a mere GBP10! If we hit this stretch goal you can have one of these prints by simply increasing your pledge by GBP10. When the backer questionnaire comes out after the campaign ends, you will be able to confirm this selection with us. STRETCH GOAL: £15,000 - FREE BONUS CARD TO ALL BACKERS Who here recognises this old chap with his rather spiffing robes? If we reach this stretch goal, all backers at the £15 GRIM TAROCK and £30 GRIM COLLECTOR pledge levels will receive yet another bonus card - this time The Magician. That will take your decks to 78 + 4 cards. So 82 cards in total! Thanks for joining us on this journey and for being such incredible backers. Until the next update! Cheers, James (Ian says hello from the foggy cupboard btw)
  2. Somebody on Dakkadakka posted that they hadn't had their KS stuff which surprised me as I thought they had eventually got everybody sorted out (and as I posted over there if you are in the same boat contact them via the maxmini website before they close, it could well be they don't know there is a problem) as to the KS being the root of their problems, it seems it's not the only issue involved as both of the owners had major non-ks related problems hit them too (but owing loads of people KS stuff can't have helped either)
  3. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/brassmonkeygames/ian-millers-grim-tarock About Below you will find a sample of two cards from each of the four Suits - Citadels, Chaos, Fish and Trees. Each Suit is comprised of 14 cards (2-10, Ace, Knave, Knight, Queen and King). You can see more of Ian's work on his website, or you can follow him on Instagram: [I've removed the website links to conform to the boards rules, if you want them visit the KS]
  4. postal address lockdown Hi everyone, Steamforged here. We’re getting close to January, which means it’s almost time to ship your rewards! To make sure they’re sent to the right place, it’s really important that your shipping address is up-to-date. If you need to change your shipping address, you’ll need to do it before Wednesday 27th November. you should able to make any change you need to on the pm at crowdox (if you've not made an account yet remember to use your ks email address)
  5. Pledge manager invites are going out so if you backed you should be getting yours soon Late pledges will also be available (check the most recent KS update for details) They've also done some alternate sculpts for the minis for those that want to pay to add them (no gameplay content) Option to get everything in a single shipment, or split with the main game + a few bits coming earlier and the rest about 6 months later (if you get jumpy seeing other people posting about having got a game please go for split shipping, I've seen to many folk falling apart online over the wait when they try and save money by going with one)
  6. Delivering now (except the novel which is going to come later) mine has arrived safely and looks good (I didn't get either of the huge storage boxes as the shipping was just too brutal on them)
  7. Now live https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1263884974/warren-of-vile-fungi/description
  8. I'll second that, they really hit the spot when it comes to epic space opera
  9. fingers crossed the new meds go easy on you and hard on the tumour
  10. I've been following this on facebook, the sculps you've shown look good
  11. San Detours used to do French translations for RPGs & games like Call of Cthulhu licenced from Chaosium, and a bunch of Cthulhu Wars stuff licenced from Petersen Games but they've not been paying all (any?) of the royalties for doing so for a number of years, so those licences have been pulled
  12. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sansdetour/confrontation-classic-the-legendary-skirmish-game/posts/2653364?fbclid=IwAR2kCaB0h7v20ibyJulocAdK6kRFP46EsyrZQ0UlEELsZcLH11Y60FcWy44 "Trying to be everywhere meant we were getting nowhere. This is why we made the following announcement in September: Sans-Détour will reduce their book publishing activity in order to focus its energy and resources on the Confrontation project." well that and you've not paid companies whose work you've being translating, and now that's out in the open your not going to get as much other chances to do the same to others
  13. they only thing they've specifically said won't be available to pick up later in the 2nd wave PM is the resin kits so if you want those you'll need to add them (or pick a pledge level they come with) in the next 5 days as the PM is closing on the 15th for tis wave
  14. Welcome to the past, time travelers! We are entering the last hours of campaign and we are amazed with the receptions we received so far. Over 10,000 backers, showing love and appreciation for our games, and excitement for receiving an opportunity of completing collections and acquiring items that may have slipped by when previous campaigns were live. We know that you come from all parts of the world and we have received many questions and requests for us to share more information on how the shipping costs will be for this campaign. With that in mind we worked on some estimates to share. We first would like to clarify the shipping situation. Many of you have been questioning the absence of customs-friendly shipping outside of the US, which unfortunately this time, unlike our usual campaigns which are always EU, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand-friendly as well, won't be possible. Asia pledges aside, this campaign uses products that are currently in our USA warehouse, and it’s simply not feasible to ship through the these countries in this case. We understand that this is not ideal for many of you, and in fact at the early stages of the project we considered restricting the campaign only to US, but concluded that we absolutely had to give the rest of the world backers the choice to pledge as well, if willing to deal with the shipping costs. We hope is understandable. Following is a list of rough estimates for the shipment of basic pledges. Please keep in mind these are just estimates and that accurate costs will be calculated in the pledge manager system according to your address. Also keep in mind that costs will likely rise based on optional buys you choose. For backers with a Time Vault Pledge ($1) the costs will be based on the products that are chosen in the Pledge Manager and due to the variations in size, weight, and number of items that can be chosen the shipment will also vary accordingly. Furthermore, please remember that, with the exception of Asia-only pledges, all items will be shipping from the US. The estimates below do not include possible import taxes. Rising Sun Pledge Europe: $112-$118 to most countries. $168 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $97 Australia and New Zealand: $167 HATE Pledge Europe: $117-$125 to most countries. $180 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $103 Australia and New Zealand: $179 Zombicide: Green Horde Pledge Europe: $98-$101 to most countries. $137 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $81 Australia and New Zealand: $135 Rising Sun + HATE Pledge Europe: $162-$187 to most countries. $289 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $152 Australia and New Zealand: $293 Rising Sun + Green Horde Pledge Europe: $142-$160 to most countries. $240 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $132 Australia and New Zealand: $242 HATE + Green Horde Pledge Europe: $147-$166 to most countries. $253 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $137 Australia and New Zealand: $255 Rising Sun + HATE + Green Horde Pledge Europe: $191-$228 to most countries. $362 to Eastern Europe countries. Canada: $183 Australia and New Zealand: $369 See you back in the future! so basically while those outside the USA (or asia) can back you'll need to be prepared to eat very substantial shipping costs (they look very similar to what the Asmodee store that CMON is now using charges). I can't see myself getting any physical product because of this, but do appreciate the option to do so and applaud CMON for not making this USA only and just a warning for those from the EU who don't normally import stuff, VAT is calculated on the basis of Item + shipping (not on the item price alone) so if you are getting physical product factor that in
  15. Crowdox is also the only PM company that has actually ever responded with a fix when I messaged them about a problem as they seem to have staff on hand when a PM launches so they can troubleshoot 'live' which is pretty clever
  16. THe same reason reprint projects add an extra new expansion, it's less to bring back existing customers (although it does help), but that means they get to put the original game and expansions back on KS
  17. If you're in the US, and want any of the vault stuff then $1 to gamble it will still be there isn't a bad deal (especially if they don't really know whats there, as I wouldn't be surprised if the PM has stuff added periodically as the find more boxes of stuff)…. or your in a country where you've got a high personal threshold for paying import taxes but if your in most of the rest of the world then it's a lot less of good thing as you're going to have to pay to import the stuff yourself (so for me in the UK i'll need to pay 20% extra +£8 minimum) So i'm in for now but I suspect i'm just giving them a $
  18. Ah McDeath, I remember this being the first real serious gaming fist fight/tantrum I encountered. 'No man of woman born can harm McDeath', unfortunately the player took this too literally, and had a terminal encounter with Klinty the Treeman those were the day, young and innocent and then later using the standees as a proxy army in a tournament that demanded only official GW figures (not so young and innocent but they were the only thing I had that vaguely resembled an army as I was far more concerned with buying minis I liked rather than stuff that could be played with together) Good luck on your quest Beagle (the halfling Raybees was rereleased as a generic halfling in the C11 series call hamfist halfwit if you didn't know and there's an ebay BIN for £6.99 on one up now, i'd have offered you mine but he succumbed to conversionitis and is now holding a paintbrush instead of a shield) Edit: and oddly enough another halfling that actually matches the standee art much better than the one that was apparently supplied at the time also exists in the C11 range, called Benny Bottomdown, info pulled from http://realmofchaos80s.blogspot.com/2016/06/mcdeath-lost-scenario-figures.html)
  19. Reach out to Rob by email/the contact form on the Mierce website and ask whether the hold up is lack of shipping waves (in which case he should be able to sort out a way for you to pay it) or whether it's just your place in the shipping queue(s) for the various project in which case you'll just need to wait (typically they drop all the orders for a particular shipping wave into 'packing' status once they begin working on it so if there have been a lot of orders in that wave you can be waiting a long time, I've had stuff go from packing to shipped in a couple of weeks or 6 months +. as to the concept art book (which i'm also waiting on) at one point it seemed like it had been dropped (or at least indefinitely postponed as Rob would be the one doing the design and layout work, and he's needed to run the business & do the rules etc which are more important for the continuation of the game), but it was mentioned again when they put out the LE musters book (which also showed such small print run hardbacks were financially viable), so i'm hoping it's back in play even if as a low priority.... I hope so as I really want it which is why I've not asked to convert my preorder into store credit
  20. delivered safely, look great at first glance, now I just need a spare few months to get them painted
  21. nothing firm as they want to complete sending out the previous project first, but at the rate Tom's printing the Sisters of Conflict stuff now his printers are running again i'd guess maybe October sometime?,
  22. What is evil, yet cute? a KICKSTARTER that's what. Since SoC's delivery is in full throttle, it's time to announce the SIBLINGS OF CHAOS.
