Bones shipment cam in today.

got a random box in the mail today I didn't remember what this was from so I opened it and to my delight saw ""Mini's"" and I use that word loosely. some fitting issues I'm going to have to clean up with liquid green stuff but oh well. Is this the post you are talking about? not quite, It was a toy dinosaur I got from toy r us and repainted (dunno if it was a wip but it had a lot of pictures with it), I've tried searching for my username and that only shows up 4 pages of items and it's a mix of topics and posts and not all of my topics. ahh, I think I saw that one too... let me find it again Here's what I found. Ahhh close but no cigar, I was looking for the paint thread for that ""MINI"", like i was saying it's real hit or miss there are some topics that just seem to be GONE.

huge size animal form for my druid i'm playing in pathfinder, it's a hair big for huge but fit nicely on a 3x3 tile. took some help but found the old link to the story behind the dino.

threw the mini's I'm currently using in pathfinder into this large case with the dinosaur along with my finished mini's in the lower right.

took today off work after a rough weekend shift and took a crack at my Long unfinished Maul. ignore the black glaze on the horns that was a mistake that will be corrected. need to clean the upper jaw a bit but it's a start. the black glaze did wonders here imo. went over the graveyard bone with some lighter vampire flesh

Looks like you're going to over shoot my approach on this mini but I base coated then shaded after the fact. Your approach looks great even if time consuming.

Ping is right matte medium is Great stuff, get a bottle and play with it. 3 X 1 mixture of matte to paint makes a great base coat for the larger bone miniatures imo.

The best advice I can give on easy eyes is paint the face with your base skin tone then paint the white of the eyes in. Then use micro pen to dot the eyes in. If you mess up the placement let it dry before trying to paint over I learned the hard way.

quick and dirty paintjob for a female dwarf for pathfinder, I went over the skirt with a two stage highlight but it's still to light to notice... I gave up finished. Told you I'm not dead.

Not dead just very distracted... too many hobbies and not enough time.

I know the feeling, I tweaked my knee somehow a couple of weeks ago and I'm still limping a bit.

I second the idea of a wash on the armor it will really make the hard edges pops, and the freehand stuff is painful I know.

Corvus, Overlords Sergeant (Alt) for the dragoon, it's the best match I found when I was trying to make kain. maybe Taldalise, Elf Huntress for the female. Btw I expect to see these all painted and on a grid map.
