It took me a solid minute to realize that that was his hand in the air, not a llama head.

Generosity and kindness should always be celebrated and encouraged. The world needs more it. So, the reason I’ve felt like garbage for the last month is because I’ve had a sinus infection the entire time. I have antibiotics now, I just need them to kick in.

I know how to play go-fish, uno, rummy, black-Jack, Yu-gi-oh! And Cards Against Humanity. I’m not very good at any of them. I haven’t a clue what faro is and I don’t care enough to look.

Our day started off nicely. No tantrums this morning.

I finally have some new stuff to post. I made a reaper order so I could get the Ukrainian relief mini. And I got some Pro-Acryl paints after trying some at paint night. They’re glorious.

Oh, she’s fine. We just have to be out of our apartment by the end of May. We make too much money for income adjusted housing. We’ve been looking for a rental, but the market here is crazy, and we haven’t been able to find anything. So back to my MIL’s attic we go. Hubby has put plans in motion to fix it up though. We have a friend who is going to help him clean it out, insulate it, and put up drywall. The same friend is going to help install the sink, stove, oven, and counter tops in MIL’s kitchen. As well as install the sink and tub in the bathroom. Yeah, my MIL’s house is a mess. At least this time we know what we’re getting into and we have a plan and resources to deal with it.

Honestly, I enjoy all of it. The only thing I hate is how little I get to hobby.

I don’t have access to the minis I actually painted, so here’s a couple of my dwarven queen, Isdlana, that I made in heroforge.

Well, it looks like we’ll be moving into my mother in law’s house.

I’m not much of a fan of generational sniping. One group will say something like the younger generation is lazy, but I’ve met plenty of older folks who are lazy too. Just like I know plenty of older folks who are tech savvy, and younger ones who are into older pop culture. It all comes down to adults willingness to stay informed and younger folks willingness to be exposed to cultural roots, which to a certain extent, can be influenced by their parents.

Both of these. I LOVE fae folk. Lizard folk would be great!

A good long while, at least. At some point the glue would run out, and then the paint, but I have books on how to make Stuff. I’ll figure it out 👍

You can’t possibly be crazy if that many of your voices are agreeing.

Black gives me problems, I haven’t been able to paint enough to get around them. Cool white is a little tricky, though I have warm white down. I don’t really have too many problems with other colors.

We mostly celebrated in the capacity of having a child. Sephy got a basket, we died eggs, we did an egg hunt, and then we had a ham dinner. She ate that whole chocolate bunny yesterday.

@Sylverthorne I hope they figure things out quickly and Andi gets treatment quickly.

Aren’t daffodils basically just poison? I’d think the deer wouldn’t eat that. Though they are exceptionally dumb.

I painted a special edition barbarian to be Princess Mononoke.

I got an Easter egg dye kit that uses rice in baggies to dye the eggs. I’m hoping it’ll be less messy with a toddler than traditional egg dying kits. We’ll see though. Toddlers are really good at making messes.

D&D 5e. Savage worlds rifts is pretty good, but it’s hard to effectively blow stuff up in rifts.

I subscribe to the theory that the more fabulous your hair, the larger your weapon should be. 🤣
