  1. I was hoping we'd get a stretch goal with supports but it's a low enough cost that I'm in.
  2. Could also be a good place to put things you'd like to see Reaper make for the air-brush. Several companies do some primers and Reaper already has a brush on, having air-brush style primers would be good. Such a forum could be a wishlist palce like we have "things you'd like to see for Bones" for example.
  3. Good question. I was looking for some Bones Ogres and two of the ones I was looking at are out of stock at Reaper's own website. Is it a matter of weeks or months or does someone need to crank on the on site machine and get 'em going?
  4. My thought process is as more people get the Vex and use it, having more resources available, and as more options come out from Reaper directly, such as the compressor, we'll see more bits. I remember not too long ago suggesting the 3-D forum and it was like "No we don't need that" and yet that's bown up. Much different product/process here I get but making it easier to find all the information'tips/products/etc... can only help.
  5. Looks like it's the last two days and I don't think it's going to make it unless a large number of people just watching decide to back it now. Some of their wording in the initial landing page may strike the wrong cord with some people. "We aint' re-launching" etc... I've seen multiple campaigns re-launch. It's not necessarily a bad thing.
  6. Thanks for sharing. Good stuff to see.
  7. A little price compared to a monthly Patreon (not after that month as MMY prices will attest to_) but it's a specific bit, very Mordenheim. Anyone in? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dogsofwar/dogs-of-war-free-companies Dogs of War: Free Companies brings to your 3D printer a full mercenary warband ready for your skirmish or role-playing games. This campaign includes a core set of seven digital pre-supported models ready to plug and print, to expand with more freebies and models based on funding! The Free Company is a group of hired swords that have been fighting constantly throughout their lives. To show this, each of the characters have their own style and weaponry so you can create a background for each of them. We have been working hard to ensure that each of them fits in the same warband without forgetting to give them their own unique look. In addition to the basic models, we have a series of stretch goals lined up that we believe will add even more depth to the warband. Those stretch goals will be added to All In pledge at no additional cost as goals are unlocked.
  8. I'm in for the terror birds, sloth, and saber tooth cat. There are some great stretch goals but I don't think it's going to hit some of them. Antediluvian Beasts http://kck.st/2OklTxc Hello everyone, this time I bring you "Antediluvian-beasts", prehistoric animals that managed to develop after the great extinction of the Late Cretaceous. Sixty-five million years ago. The impact of a colossal meteorite on the planet's surface ended the reign of the great dinosaurs. Enabled this the development of other animal groups that occupied bacchante. The birds and mammals evolved, reaching great size. Terror birds, giant ground sloths, saber tooth, countless animal species came to dominate the planet and coexist with the first human beings. The species represented in this campaign lived several million years ago, some species surviving until about eight thousand years ago. The miniatures I have modeled respecting current paleontological knowledge by study fossil remains and take into account recognized paleo-artistic recreations.
  9. So with the two boxed sets and individual colors, are there guides to using them with the triads, are they meant to be completely used on their own or mix and match? Are there any Reaper videos showcasing them and showing them in use?
  10. With the 5K screens around the corner and the bigger printers coming into their own, unless I had to have a printer I'd wait. The prices are just going to keep coming down for the existing ones and the new ones are going to debut at those prices in most instances.
  11. I'd say math. Looking at the first one, it pulled in less than they're looking for. That would be a damning process under almost any situation. "Hey, we raised $10! Let's ask for $40 on the next KS!"
  12. I might have to add those giant spiders when the backerkit goes life.
  13. I hope that they can do something with their method of file delivery. I'm not a fan of having to log into multiple individual folders with no MMF/Gumroad/Company Shop backup. So for people who are following multiple Patroens, are there any that do actual 28mm supported minis or are they all 32 + mm with supports?
  14. Oh I wouldn't mind going in for the ogres and halflings but... Probably snagging the dragons and giants, maybe add the ogres, depending on when the pledge manager goes live. Oh and that crossover figure for sure.
  15. And just hit the last 48 hours. Need to figure out what I'm getting.
  16. So not an actual review? No comments on the material of the minis, depth of details, etc..? So... a breakdown of the Kickstarters... that we can get from the Kickstarter rpage...
  17. Yeah, the problem with 'extended refund' isn't that I'm going to be "Ugh, these miniatures are so hideous" it's "Oh, it's never arrived." They have 2 open right now, the original fantasy and the horror. One okay... sends up signals. Two? More signals. Things can always happen. No one needs reminders about Tome of Horrors or several of the other bits where the creator pops up, lies, and moves about. Heck, Scott and his crew from PvP basically did that with their Table Titans which is years late when they came out with a new product. "Hey guys, we're sorry we haven't said anything for months and I know a lot of you are reporting us to Kickstarter, but pinky swear we're almost there!" And after their other KS ran, back to dead silence. If they REALLY want to show some "hey we get it", their backer price for people who've backed multiple projects would be the original price and not higher in their backerkit.
  18. Oh I did that with the werewolf. It puts supports right through the tail. I know you can then move the base of the support or change the length of the support form the model, but the ou have to visually inspect the whole thing. I see at least four that would have to be moved after resizing.
  19. So depending on the file format and how saved, I see in Lychee you can rescale supports. I notice a LOT of companies selling 'minis' tend to do heroic 32mm as opposed to 28mm. I was playing with Lychee and Cast & Player's Werewolf. Dude is huge so I knocked it down a few points and got a successful print but it would've still been considered large in D&D terms. Took it into Lychee to knock it down much further and when I used the tool to rescale supports, well, it put a lot of supports THROUGH other parts of the model so there would've been a time sink to check/fix all those. Do you just start from an unsupported model? Go with a supported model and just rescale and hope it doesn't fail, something else?
  20. Unless there is a VERY generous early bird, I won't be backing as I am one of those waiting for the first KS. I hope they have an extended KS or a long term open pre-order/backerkit option. Seems poorly planned to me.
  21. Could work. These 'off' settings often have unique characters and monsters that need representation. Now if it was a follow up to their 5e Ki9ckstarter bringing monsters into it, I'd be MORE interested but there was a lot of crossover anyway so... I think Paizo, despite their many licenses for figures, is missing a bit by not having a Patreon that covers the adventure path on a monthly series.
  22. Glad to see it's not me. I logged in a couple days and was like, "Man, what?" It's very ugly.
  23. Thumbs up on Teaching Tech and Scalemodeling. I hadn't heard of them before.
