As mentioned in the "How did you come across Reaper Miniatures" topic, I just started painting two months ago. Don't feel like you have to go easy on critiques though. First prime, First paint, First wash Goldar (03461), painted grey to be a Goliath. First Boil and Chill (To remove lean), First eyes Dain Deepaxe (77074) First "OMG This is taking too long", First Dry Brush Bone Devil (77325) First Sculpt (cut off wings and used green stuff) Mummy Lich (77147) First highlights, first wet blend, first missing piece! Fire Demon (77315) Shameless copy of Fire Demon painted by mirrordissilution His right hand should be showing up in the mail any day now. Reaper customer support is amazing. There you have it! I left out the bulk paintings of skeletons and oxidation beasts (HAH!) that were hastily done for the campaign I'm running.

As the title says, I just started painting miniatures during spring break, having no prior artistic background. I'd read a few tutorials, bought some minis from my FLGS, some brushes and paints from the local corporate megamart, and got to work quickly. I didn't want to make a massive investment going into a new hobby, so I used cheap Apple Barrel paints and bargain brushes, which I understand is A Bad©. Anyways, without further ado, here is 5 weeks worth of progress! Pictures under links since the post maker doesn't like me. 77022: Human Ranger, Michelle Front Back 77282: Vampire Front Back 77309: Crystal Golem Front Back 89018: Sajan, Iconic Monk Front Back 03461: Goldar the Barbarian Front Back 77203: Barnabas, Human Warrior Front Back 77205: Alistrilee Front Back 03715: Erick, Paladin Initiate Front Back 77024: Rogan, Half Orc Rogue Front Back 03734: Andriessa, Female Wizard Front Back 77222: Aaron the Conjuror Front Back 77122: Tierdeleira, Dark Elf Cleric Front Back 89021: Mystic Theurge Front Back These were a lot of fun to paint, and aren't supposed to be anywhere near even tabletop quality. C&C welcome!

My brother in law made a pathfinder character which looks like savage dragon, and of course there are no savage dragon minis. So he requested one of me. Goldar ended up being a great mini for him, just added a fin (which I've been getting practice at), switched out his axe for a spear, and added a naga head to his belt. Whatever species the character is worships nagas, and his guy is evil, so he killed one and carries it around as a trophy. Unfortunately the camera washed out the colour on him. The green is much brighter, and has more highlights, and the naga head is a bit grayer. Cause it's dead and decayed. Comments, critique, suggestions all appreciated. Before I send it to Wyoming.
