So I'm finally getting to the terrain for my graveyard set. I've washed the crypt and the fences. I got an extra set of fences, and I think I'm missing 1 short fence, because I have 5 of those, and everything else is even in number (doubled). Can anyone else who got both during Bones 3 confirm if they had 5 or 6? Here's stuff having a soak. Somewhere I have my Bones 4 toppers, but I'm not going to worry about that right now. I'm debating putting stuff on large tongue depressors and making stuff modular... though that would leave some gaps if I make a fence around something specific, as opposed to a representative "fence." Anybody try it and abandon?

This year I'll be spending the week between Dec 25 and Jan 1 at home... like a lot of folks. I'm using the time to finish up a few figures languishing on my paint table and prepare for a clean(er) start in 2021. I'll get some photos up as I prep. Right now I am planning to finish: 1640 Cat dragon in tree 3893 Mal, catfolk warrior 3894 catfolk rogue 3977 Mercurix, winged cat 77576 female sphinx several Cats and Catacombs figures a trio of Alkemy Khaliman Republic figures some 3d printed tressym (winged cats) whatever else strikes my fancy at the time Paint along, or not, as it suits you.

Here is the extent of my Christmas decoration for this year. One festive dragon.

A request for more modern female minis, Dr Helen Salinger first, because I found her first. I will be painting her as Cosima from Orphan Black. Mostly base coats today, though I did a bit more on the coat. Legs are rubbing off so I may need to re prime. Skin was a weird mix of new copper, sun yellow and heavy _(I forget the Vallejo name) skin.

I got this fake bonsai at a dollar store for a couple of dollars. Pulled it out of the small vase with rock and styrofoam, trimmed the trunk that was below "ground" and then stuck it on a yogurt lid. I put paper towel down for some texture and modgepodged it with brown and various greens. I still intend to flock it a bit. I may also stick it on a cd (hence the waiting to flock). But for now it's playable. I never took process pics. Oops. Maybe more to come. MSP bottle for rough scale (about 3"high by 6" span).
