  1. Whilst waiting for my Bones 3 to brave the perilous journey across the sea to the EU I have decided to paint up other models from other kick staters. Not only to play with but to try and make some inroads into the "pile" of 20 models. Here are three such models from a recent Kickstarter by Thunderchild Miniatures. These snails inhabited an underground world under what's left of a post apocalyptic modern world. I like these models as the are very quirky and have some character. Hopefully I can do them justice. First of all they have been washed, sprayed g
  2. I haven't done much painting in the last few months compared to earlier in the year but here is another set of 35mm for the game Wasteman by Thunderchild Minatures. These are full of character and a joy to paint. As always comments welcome.

  4. Here is a quick post of three other models I have finished for the post apocalypse Wasteman game, under the surface of earth is a fantasy beneathesphere. And it is inhabited by you standard dwarves and such creatures including a barbarian and Troglydyte. Here is a two front and back shots of a dwarf. If they make more of these I will be getting them all. And for all you Barbarian fans out there here is another nice sculpt. Once again a nice simple sculpt and a joy to paint. Closeup of the shield detail. And finally a Troglydyte. To round i
  5. I am currently following a kickstarter for the remaining models from this company (Wasteman) and decided to purchase some of the current line to evaluate the models up close. I have to say I am really impressed with the quality of the resin models. There were no bubbles to be found on these. I was so impressed I decided to paint them the same day. This is the first time I have undercoated a model in black and worked back up to colour, and this way seems to be a lot easier for a number of reason, in particular the shadows are already in place. These two were g
