  1. One of my first finished works of 2020, the massive Ulvheim Bridgehouse, a 3D print from a design by Code2 and available on Thingiverse. Reaper Rat-Things and Warhammer Dwarfs for scale.
  2. I would love to run an campaign where a holy paladin hates demonkin due to his biases as a defender of the righteous and then, thru the course of the campaign he falls in love with a demonkin lady. Torn between his moral code and his heart the paladin must choose between duty and love. That was the inspiration for this mini which I designed on Heroforge. Sorry the picture is so overexposed, I am struggling to work with my new camera phone.

Attack! this interstellar army of hardboiled girls are ready to conquer your tabletop! Assemble unique squads with powerful weapons, led by brave leaders. They're cute, they're rowdy, they are the siblings of conflict! STRETCH GOALS We're planning amazing, unique hero characters, and more! Surprises await! New Stre
  4. A friend with a 3D printer made this for me. I spent about an hour painting it, and it's now an NPC in my Eberron campaign. Painting was odd because it's not a very clean print, there are lots of little fibers and print lines on it which obscure detail. I painted very quickly with a lot of wet in wet blending. I'm quite happy with the result given the amount of time it took and the nice-at-arm's-length blending. My friend is continuing to work with the printer, so eventually he's going to print this up again at a higher quality. The design is on
  5. Hello, Now that the Kickstarter project, Depths of Savage Atoll, from EC3D Designs, is through the funding phase, I thought I would share some of my painted examples of the FDM print tests. All were done on an Ender-3 (mostly stock other than a mirror bed and a metal extruder replacement) The group: Merfolk: Merrow: Kraken Cultists: Water Elementals: Giant Octopus:
  6. Seeing as there wasn't a thread yet, I wanted to share another project that just hit Kickstarter, "DEPTHS OF SAVAGE ATOLL" It's a great project I was happy to be involved with, doing some of the FDM print testing. Everything looks great and prints well! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/depths-of-savage-atoll-3d-printable-tabletop-model/description Welcome to "Depths of Savage Atoll" - an island chain on the edge of the world where the currents of the ocean, waves of the sea, sands of the beaches, and old-growth of the jungle are all teeming with life, adventure, and coun

  8. Among my most recently completed miniature works are some 3D printed terrain, from various sources. All were printed on a Creality Ender 3. First, some Gnome Homes from The Skyless Realms (EC3D) A Mind Terror Summoning Circle from the same set: I also needed a bunch of Cottages. Here's the demo model from BSGMiniatures: And two others from Thingiverse:
  9. Another awesome themed 3D print file set is up on Kickstarter, "Titans of Legend" https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1426243056/titans-of-legend?ref=user_menu Even dating to before recorded history, some of the greatest heroes and villains of myth and legend have been titanic in size. Giants, titans, and others strode the mythic landscapes, the earth quaking at their steps. Now you will be able to use your 3D printer to create 32mm scale figures of these legends, and include them in your Dungeons and Dragons campaign! Reaching forth from Greece, France, Denmark, Cornwall, and
  10. This is the Guard House / Toll Booth from Kiernan Billings’ Wizards Tower Expansion Set. IIRC this was printed at a 150 micron layer height using my Anycubic i3 Mega printer. I tried smoothing out the print ridges using Polycrylic before priming. It didn’t seem to make a difference on the print lines. This is a two piece print (building and roof) with a simple paintjob of dry brushing, washes, and matte coating. I think it turned out great for the game table. If I wanted something for display, I think I could get the quality necessary on my UV resin printer at higher resolution .
  11. I had been looking for the proper miniatures to represent the Sewn Sisters, a coven of Night Hags from Tomb of Annihilation. DarkRealms put out a set of 3D designs for Crones inspired by the Crones of Crookback Bog, proper monsters from The Witcher 3. I went with my own color scheme rather than following the game. They were printed on a Creality Ender 3.
  12. I've painted another set of terrain, the wonderful "Ulvheim Buildings & Ruins" designed by Terrain4Print All were printed on my Creality Ender 3. They seem quite at home for Mordheim or Frostgrave.
  13. Here is some more of my recently painted 3D printed terrain. Shattered Tomb Entrance, design by EC3D: Rock Pools, by Duncan Shadow Scatterblocks: Dwarven Fountain, designed by dutchmogul Ironhelm Bastion Ruins, designed by Printable Scenery

  15. Now that the project is being released, I wanted to share my work testing the awesome "Skyless Realms" Kickstarter from EC3D. All pieces were printed on an Ender 3 A diorama look at the Skyless Realms: The Entrance itself: The Formorians: An Arachnid Mutant: A Dragon of the Deep: Dark Elves: Gray Dwarves: Gnolls: A Deep Lizardman: Mind Horrors:
  16. As I hadn't seen a topic yet, I wanted to mention a Kickstarter project I'm really excited to have been part of testing for, The Skyless Realms: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/the-skyless-realms-3d-printable-tabletop-models/description Welcome to "The Skyless Realms" - a dark, dangerous place below ground - full of all the most evil races of the world - where everything is trying to kill you, and both grand adventure and extreme peril await! 18. Didn't see a post about this yet: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/deadlyprintstudio/battlefx BattleFX is a bundle comprising of several 3D designs of dynamic effects and destructible terrain for wargames. ready for you to print. Every item of the bundle has been carefully designed and tested to be 3D printed. this kickstarter includes a STL pack of each pledge, ready to be printed using your own 3D printer - or alternatively, using online 3D printing services. Hag

This is one of Duncan Louca's Hags, printed on my Ender 3 (0.08mm layer height, eSun PLA+, total height to the top of the spikes is 44mm). I got quite a lot of zits and boogers from the supports on this one, but she's so warty and festering that rather than trimming them off, I just turned them into zits and boogers.
  20. I realized I hadn't quite had enough terrain for small villages, and with a large amount of the Rangers of Shadow Deep having cottages and houses as objectives/scenario focuses, I thought I'd print out a few more. A burninated cottage from The Lost Dragons A frozen cottage, also from The Lost Dragons A Dwarven House, from Printable Scenery: Viking Houses and Tents from Terrain4Print:
  21. The dread beating of wings brings a chill wind to the land. A 3D print, this design is "The Father of Frost" from The Lost Dragons, a Kickstarter project.
  22. Here's my recently finished 3D print, the Zombie Dragon from "The Lost Dragons" Kickstarter
  23. Got this out of Impact Miniatures last Kickstarter. The master was 3D printed, and then it was produced via spincast resin. Pretty much zero clean-up, although they use a pretty persistent mold release agent. I washed it with Dawn and scrubbed it pretty well. Primed it with Badger Stylynresin and had a bunch of areas where it flaked off with the slightest touch. Gave it another thorough bath & scrub and re-primed with Badger and this time it got a grip. Base coat and initial highlights are Tamiya paints applied via airbrush. Highlights and details are Reaper and Vallejo. Then tried
  24. Some friends are doing this, under their Infinite Dimensions Games, though I'm not involved. The Kickstarter will take place in March and is for digital files for 3D print. If I remember correctly there are no physical rewards. While people should hold off until the details of the crowdfund are released, my understanding is that the core set is done, any stretch goals will pay for the labour of doing the design/sculpting of those items only, so the core set would be ready as soon as funding period is over. They have a Facebook and Instagram and more for lots of previews (but I'm not link
  25. Finished at the last minute, another year in a row of Nurgly Orks for Orctober! These were printed from Duncan Shadow Louca's designs
