  1. Just in time for my game to be put on hiatus until 2023, I finished a bunch of minis intended for Rime of the Frostmaiden. A Frost Giant Skeleton from Titan-Forge Dogsleds from EC3D Coldlight Walkers from MZ4250 Mephits from DuncanShadow. They were all printed in clear resin to use as Ice Mephits then done as individual elements after the encounter that called for 12+ of them Ice Spells from Crippled God Foundry
  2. Stonehaven Miniatures is running a new Kickstarter, their first to focus on digital files for 3D printing. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/stonehavenmini/stonehaven-heroes-3d-printable-miniatures/description The majority of the core set is updates from their Patreon, focusing on getting a delivery system going for post-Patreon: Stretch goals are all new, and they're taking a ton from backer suggestions. I have a personal stake since two were added based on my ideas: I've been a backer of Stonehaven since their very first Dwarf Adventurers set, and I'm glad to see their expansion into digital. Everything I've printed from them has been excellent sculpt and support wise.
  3. The combination of GW announcing the return of Squats with "The Leagues of Votann" and the mining themes in the expansion "Stargrave: The Last Prospector", I may have gone overboard with the Space Miner theme. No idea what I'd use most of these guys for. All resin minis are printed on my Elegoo Mars Pro. I also experimented a bit with Army Painter Speedpaints this time. The first set are the Galactic Mining League from Cyber-Forge. The Squats are printed at 80%, their Ogryn buddies at 155%. These are a variety from Thingiverse. Asteroid Miners and Space Dwarfs. These were my first real edit: I removed their arms before printing and used Oathmark Dwarf Light Infantry arms. And per The Galactic Miners Union Charter Subsection 16B, the guild is no longer Squat only. Warhammer Cadian Bodies, Stargrave Heads, and arms from Fireforge Peasants and Oathmark Dwarf Infantry Same as above, but the bodies are 3D prints "Space Denim"
  4. (Yes, the title is a throwback to a contest I ran years ago on here....no I'm not running another one, with today's shipping rates, ugh......) This is where I'm going to work on 3D printed terrain pieces for Star Wars Legion, most of which currently are going to be spaceships. Because why use generic terrain when you can be shooting Rebel Scum hiding behind X-wings and the like? Up first is this: All the FDM bits are there, but most of the resin bits (guns, ramp, interior) are still in a bin waiting to have their supports removed and cured. I figured I should get a thread started as maybe that will get me over that initial hurdle of actually starting. This has all been printed for a week or two and just sitting there....plus I'm gonna need that airbrush booth for other things sooner or later.... I will, of course, be attempting to make this look somewhat like the original episode 5 version, not some retconned prequel sillyness. Now to go listen to some Prism.
  5. "And it's a curious feature of Giants that they rise from their graves." These minis came from a variety of sources, and were re-scaled to try to match Reaper Frost Giants. All were printed on an Elegoo Mars. The Draugr Jotunn is from "DrunkenDwarfMinis" The Giant Skeleton is from "Crippled God Foundry" The last is a Hill Giant Zombie from "RMPrintable"
  6. I've been working on a hugely modular spaceship wreckage system. The base set has 60+ parts but the entire project includes over 150 models. Lost colony: spaceship Graveyard is the ultimate starship wreckage system. It's all about customisation, fallen spacecraft and the fragments they leave behind. You can follow the project at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/saucermenstudios/lost-colony-spaceship-graveyard
  7. The full moon casts a pale blue light across the rugged white landscape. Tall pine trees cling to the rocky ground, branches stirring, shedding their cold white burden as the wolves breathe past. The pack is on the move, and the land is trembling beneath their step. They move with purpose, something is not as it was before. There! An affront; a boat pulled ashore, a small group of fur-clad prey around a campfire, round shields and axes in sight. From the treeline the windwolves move, silent, swift, cold gusts of dark shadow, spirits of malice descending upon the men with claws of ice and fangs of doom. A huge load of pictures and musings to be found below
  8. More terrain printed on my Ender-3. The Forest Barrow Entrance by ecaroth/Hero's Hoard: Huts from the Barbarian Village, another set designed by ecaroth/Hero's Hoard:
