Another little guy who has been on the table too long. I thought for a while he was one of the kid heroes from B5, but it turns out he's a gnome. Whatever. I tried a little blue wash on the armor to put some color into it. I find painting steel or chainmail to be one of the most boring things ever. He's shown here with a lone rat from B1 who somehow got separated from the rest of the pack when they got painted years ago. So now they are adventuring buddies.

This was supposed to be a quick tabletop paint job but ended up taking longer as I tried different techniques. It was a fun but tricky one to paint with the limited palette I choose but I like challenging myself and I am very pleased with the final result.

So here’s my question, got this little person with my last Reaper order, and I just wonder a little. The miniature is a little bit heavier set or “thicker” than the concept art, and I’m just wondering, does everything think this is a gnome lass and not a young gnome beardless gentleman? She’s kind of similar to the other set that has a very obvious gnomish lady: Just wondering if everybody else has painted this little hooded gnome as a lass?
