  1. Started him a while ago but got pushed to the back burner until last month where I put the few final touches on him. I will also attest that it is a mere coincidence that the colors I used made him look kind of like Link from Breath of the wilds.
  2. I'll take a page out of hammer570's book and post a little introduction thread here and show off a few of my preliminary efforts. The very first mini I ever painted was about a year ago, at the very first PAX South. Reaper was there, and I had so much fun I kept going back. I had been wanting to paint a mini ever since Reaper started going to the various PAX shows and had some friends who did it, but it never really seemed to work out with so much else to see and do at PAX. On the last two days of PAX South 2015, I felt like I finally had some time to try it out and pretty much got hooked righ
  3. I posted an orc barbarian a few days back that I was working on. He's one of the characters in the Fantasy AGE campaign I'm running. I bought other models for the other characters but couldn't find anything quite right, so I got as close as I could and figured I'd modify them later. Apparently tonight's the night to start that work... I'd already put brown liner on them before deciding I really was going to modify the figures, in case you're wondering what's going on with them. (Sorry for crummy pictures, I was experimenting with using my webcam... Man I really need to find that digicam t
  4. One of my characters in Pathfinder Society organized play is "Sister Ayano", a kitsune (fox-person shapeshifter from Japanese folklore) who uses a bow. Sometimes the character is in human form, sometimes in fox-person form. In order to have a painted figure for this character, I've converted one of Reaper's female elven archers into fox-person form, but I also have the original version for when the character is in human form. The figure that I chose is 14116 Caerwynn, sculpted by Werner Klocke. I did a lot of the conversion in late 2013: (kitsune form): - Nip off the human head (and b
  5. For one of my PFRPG games, the PCs will be running into a group of snakemen. I prefer my snakemen to have human torsos and snake lower bodies, but most of the snakemen minis are either snake-women that fit this description, or snakemen who are just huge snakes with arms. Now that Bones are coming, conversions are cheap, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I will be combining Lindir, Elf Archer with Vandorendra Demon [warning, store link nudity alert]. 30 minutes with an exacto knife and some greenstuff and he has a new pair of legs! Comments on the conversion are welcome, but they nee
