So! I haven't painted as much as I've wanted to this summer, sadly. I planned to do more, but it just got away from me amid other things. I like how Deenah came out for the most part, but I'm not thrilled with her hair or skin. I'm not sure what to do to make blonde hair look good. Use light browns for a shadow? And then human skin continues to be a hit or miss experience for me. I tried to use the Rosy Skin triad, but I don't know if my skill is just too poor to showcase the difference in tint/shade between the triad colors, or if they need a little help to get them to pop against each other a bit more. Or maybe it's fine. I don't know. Edit: reshot the pics.

Speed paint of a human-looking half-orc PC for Pathfinder. I was trying to light green tint to bronzish skin, but she looks a little undead. (Needed a warmer green, perhaps?) After two attempts I had to remind myself it's a speed paint and to not fiddle. She fits pretty well on the new Reaper bases.

77138 Candelabra and chest (Dungeon Dressing) 77062 Deenah 77171 Stone Golem 77134 Hajad Pirate 77070 Aviriel Tellerion (oh the hair issues) I have never used these in an RPG, but now that I have them painted Iwant to stick them in. at the least the gems will count as treasure. couldn't find clockwork brass (which everyone is always raving about) so used (reapers) antique brass. chest was painted earlier, but added gems, pearls and shadows. not sure I lit the gems the right way.
