  1. Had this dude in my to-paint pile for a while, and started working on him while waiting for stuff to dry on Corim yesterday. Finished him up today . . . although I realized when I went to take a picture that I had neglected to do anything with the base. Ah well, everything is put away for now. Really like how the armor came out after painting gunmetal with a bunch of black and dark brown washes over it. Cloak came out super dingy looking, and the purple I used in the wash pretty much disappeared, but it's an alright look for this evil looking dude.
  2. After a middling effort with Dain Deepaxe, I was pretty pleased with how this guy turned out. I tried a couple new techniques that I haven't done before: I wanted to make his eyes appear like they were glowing, I wanted to get a smooth gradation on the cape, and I wanted to try some TMM-type shading on the axe blade. I think I did okay on the eyes, but not so well on the other two. First of all, I haven't found a good tutorial for TMM anywhere, so if anyone knows a good one, please do point me in the right direction. As far as the cape, I attempted using glazes; when that didn't w
  3. Just finished this up. Army Painter matte black primer with a Necron Compound dry brush for the armor. Nulin Oil wash. The other paints are Reaper HD with Citadel washes. Comments and Critiques are always welcome.
  4. Hey, look! I actually painted something by Reaper! I filled in the holes on his axe with some green stuff; I thought it looked kinda silly in it's original state. Tabletop paint, as usual for me. I'm still trying to work on my reds. I hope you like him.
  5. Introducing Norgol the Irongrave Knight , another of the first Bones Kickstarter I am still working through. I'm really happy with how the cloak came out. As always comments welcome.
  6. Norgol was a quick paint for me, just to kick back a relax with. He might make an appearance as a villain at some point once I'm DMing again. At some point I might go back and paint his belt buckle up too.
  7. Here are five Bones I painted up to represent the PC's in my Pathfinder game (we're playing the Kingmaker campaign). With these I basically tried to shoot for the best tabletop standard I could muster; I did want them to look good as they are the protagonists of a game we might be playing for some time. However, I also wanted to get them done before the campaign was over (I'm slow), and I knew that my players would soon be handling them at the gaming table with their coffee-stained, pizza-greased little paws (hi guys!). First up is Oviara the Cleric (of Iomedae, Goddess of honor, justice,
