  1. First time posting something here, since it's the first time I've felt like something I'd done came out really nicely. Once upon a time, this was Tierdeleira, but I needed a desert elf archer for a game I'm running, so they stole 77384: Arathanel's bow and quiver and swapped what presumably would have been the traditional green and purple dark elf clothing for something more fitting to the desert. The arrow and hand holding it could have been better, but I don't want to risk the rest of it by trying to redo them. The cloak was a pain but ultimately worth it, I think. It will give the character a very distinctive presence on the tabletop. Suggestions for improvement welcome, of course.
  2. So this is my girl Tierdeleira so far. I recently started painting her but have been stuck on what color to do her hair. Also I'm wondering how to do a wash on her cape thing since there are four different blues and they're all mixed together.
  3. 89032: Anti Paladin 89030: Hellknight, ORder of the Nail 89029: Hellknight, Order of the Scourge 77237: Skeletal Archer 77238: Skeletal Guardian 2H sword 77239: Skeletal Guardian Spearman 77240: Skeletal Guardian Sword 77241: Skeletal Guardian Axeman 77175: Ghoul Queen 77122: Tierdeleria, Dark Elf Queen x2 77123: Zalash, Dark Elf Assassin 77150: Ragnaros, Evil Warrior 77121: Liela, Dark Elf Wizard 77065: Norgol, Irongrave Knight (with weapon swap)
  4. As the title says, I just started painting miniatures during spring break, having no prior artistic background. I'd read a few tutorials, bought some minis from my FLGS, some brushes and paints from the local corporate megamart, and got to work quickly. I didn't want to make a massive investment going into a new hobby, so I used cheap Apple Barrel paints and bargain brushes, which I understand is A Bad©. Anyways, without further ado, here is 5 weeks worth of progress! Pictures under links since the post maker doesn't like me. 77022: Human Ranger, Michelle Front Back 77282: Vampire Front Back 77309: Crystal Golem Front Back 89018: Sajan, Iconic Monk Front Back 03461: Goldar the Barbarian Front Back 77203: Barnabas, Human Warrior Front Back 77205: Alistrilee Front Back 03715: Erick, Paladin Initiate Front Back 77024: Rogan, Half Orc Rogue Front Back 03734: Andriessa, Female Wizard Front Back 77222: Aaron the Conjuror Front Back 77122: Tierdeleira, Dark Elf Cleric Front Back 89021: Mystic Theurge Front Back These were a lot of fun to paint, and aren't supposed to be anywhere near even tabletop quality. C&C welcome!
  5. One of the things I love about Frostgrave is that you can use pretty much anything model wise. With the ridiculous ease of converting bones, I decided that I want to work on an Arachnid (Drider) warband for whenever I cycle into a new wizard down the road. This is the first beginnings of the first three models. This is the all the cutting and assembly done on a wizard, apprentice, and a knight. I build all of them on Arachnid Warrior lower bodies with the wizard using Liella the Dark Elf Wizard, the apprentice using Andriessa the Female Wizard, and the knight using Cassiatta for their upper bodies. basically just cut off their legs and shaved a bit to get them to match torso length with the female arachnid archer's body. had to cut some of Cassiatta's shield out and readjust her arms and I will need to redo the wizard staffs. Some other minor green stuff work needed but they are far enough along that you can get the picture.
