  1. I painted these up awhile ago and finally got them varnished. No blog post as these were painted before the blog was started.
  2. 77127: Vermin: Beetles Golden stag beetles to be precise. I have no idea how it looks gold in sunlight and green in shadows. how the heck does that happen? but here is my attempt to paint it. Glossy finish on the backs of course, repainted the grass/leaf coverage afterward, decided the legs were good either way. They will serve as giant lighting beetles in my next game. Along with the 2 from my original Vampire box. now with bones2 I have 4 more of them. Do I really need 8 beetles? well maybe I'll just paint 2 more....
  3. These guys wouldn't even be worth posting if it weren't for my November goals. They started off as all red beetles, but I didn't like how they looked. After letting them sit on the shelf for a while, I decided why worry about cannon fodder. They got some dark grey legs,an orange midsection to break up the red, and some green eyes. Another couple of monsters into the done pile.
  4. So, more Bones painted: Thundercats, ho! Too easy to make a joke... More terracotta than Georgia clay, but anyway: Born on Monday... Technically not all Bones: Technically not Fire Beetles:
