Here he is based. Tried messing around with water effects. Cool stuff!

An older miniature I started years ago, but finished recently. I think it was mostly the weapons (shading) and dirty shirt missing. I would say the paint job is average, but I do like the miniature. I decided to go for a simple, but interesting base, featuring a Nolzur's bottle and Thomarillion barrel.

I still have to figure out how to take decent pictures of my finished minis after my trusty Powershot gave up last year. In the meantime I started another mini 77133: Gruff Grimecleaver, Dwarf Pirate. Pretty fun sculpt (no conversions this time) that hibernated with a basecoat in my drawer. So time to finish him. I will definitely add a bit of smoke to his pistol. I think the striped pants and beard are finished and the shirt is getting there, too. Metals got some shading. The skin may need some highlights. Leather, wood and base are still just the basecoat. C&C always welcome.

Here is my take on Gruff Grimecleaver, dwarf pirate: My campaign doesn't have firearms, so I replaced his gun with a bottle that I made out of green stuff. It's a little more appropriate, given that this mini will be used for the ship's cook. It was my first time painting glass reflections, but I like the way the effect turned out. The base I made out of sculpey. It got a little overcooked and warped, but that seemed appropriate for an old ship.

A group of unusual Dwarfs. They're all by Reaper, except for the Hunter, who is an old Warhammer Dwarf Adventurer.

I've been working on my set of bones I (and now bones II). First up are the PCs in my Pathfinder group. I painted them up for each player- the ninja in the back is from another manufacturer. 77076 is a new PC- that only lasted for 3 sessions before dying (again). The player has killed her PC 3x in dramatic ways. Next up I have a slew of Skull and Shackles villains: From the new bones, it's Mr. Bones II The rest are all works in progress. The cultists and hellknights: I still have the others (and one metal one) to paint up- I'm still trying to figure out what kind of theme (and how to paint black armor better!). Sea devils and wereshark: Finally some devils to complete the campaign: They're currently level 11 and starting book 4 of the Skull and Shackles path- we've been meeting biweekly for about 8 months. Feedback, suggestions, etc are very welcome. Thanks for looking.

This is the third of the five Bones pirates I did as a quick paint. Since pirates are evil and I already had a drow pirate, I painted him up as a duergar. Underdark pirates FTW.
