  1. I painted this guy up for a Pathfinder game. He is a swashbuckling occultist and has been fun to play so far the few times we've gotten to play. He's been painted up for a while now, but I just got around to taking his picture. I hadn't fill an odd Gabon one wrist and use some green stuff to thicken his other wrist, since the pointing hand's wrist was so thin. I dry brushed some interference gold on to the base so it looks a different color from certain angles.
  2. Just got around to finishing a bones 1 mini that had been incomplete for a year or so. I was trying to add magical nonsense to his coat.
  3. Here are the latest PC models chosen by my players, painted quickly to get them ready for the game. They are all escaped slaves in the Underdark. I don't recall what names they gave them, just the class. 77047 Goldar - Fighter 77149 Damien - Sorceror 89014 Seltyiel - Druid 77061 Kord - Barbarian 77040 Satheras - Warlock
  4. Okay! So I thought that ordering 7 Bones would hold me off for awhile since I've just gotten started, right? Oh, but I was wrong. So very wrong. I started painting on Tuesday. They were all done Wednesday night. Now, I have still got a looooong way to go. No doubt about it. I'm going to try a different method of priming for my next batch, but I really enjoyed working with the color on these guys. Critiques are welcome and appreciated! As well as a Snake Demon (caution. Nudity.)
  5. Here are five Bones I painted up to represent the PC's in my Pathfinder game (we're playing the Kingmaker campaign). With these I basically tried to shoot for the best tabletop standard I could muster; I did want them to look good as they are the protagonists of a game we might be playing for some time. However, I also wanted to get them done before the campaign was over (I'm slow), and I knew that my players would soon be handling them at the gaming table with their coffee-stained, pizza-greased little paws (hi guys!). First up is Oviara the Cleric (of Iomedae, Goddess of honor, justice,
  6. It was a great show. The crowd was really into it, just what he wanted, what he needed. Tomorrow most of them would be feeling a little drained, but he would be riding the high of their emotions. It was almost a shame theses humans couldn't feel the raw magic that such a show like this pumped out. "Thank you Edmonton!!" He called out, flashing the rock horns, to the scream of the crowd just before the stage lights went to black. well,I missed a couple of mold lines that really show up in pictures, and even with the matte varnish he's a tad glossy still, but the contest ends tomorrow
  7. My second miniature ever, and my very first KS mini! It's just a rat, but I'm quite happy with the results. My WIP is posted here. (Note: the last picture was taken before I'd tidied up around the toes on his back feet; the top 2 pictures are the ones that were taken last.) Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
  8. It's my first conversion! I lopped the hands and top of the head off Damien and added the hands and hat from the Black Mist, with a bit of green stuff to make the top of the hat a bit wider for Damien's big hair/horns. Painted up as a Gunslinger. Still trying to get my camera setup right and struggling with glossiness on the mini. Some of the subtlety is killed by the gloss, the pants are more of an olive and the straps stand out against them a bit more, for instance. WIP starts here but it's a while until I start painting it. Hope you guys enjoy it! I had a lot of fun
