  1. Howdy, For my fourteenth day of International Mini Painting Month I present PF Red Dragon head/Dire Rat conversion from ReaperCon 2016 Kev!
  2. It has been a while since I have posted any of my work, and sadly that is because I haven't had much chance to do work. Nothing fancy, mostly just quick tabletop. Recently I managed to get a few bugbears and rats done up for a DnD 4th campaign I am running. The players have bitten off a bit more than they can chew, with a goblin army chasing them through the woods after they freed a dozen prisoners. Rogg is the charismatic (is that the right word for a bugbear?) warlord that the players will likely face if they stay to defend the village that will now have an angry horde of goblinoids coming their way. More rambling and pics on my blog.
  3. Continuing the creature feature, here are the great big Barrow Rats: Not quite undead but thoroughly nasty anyhow. These will see use as wardogs in Frostgrave. 77198: Barrow Rats Reaper Bones KS2, base set Sculpted by Julie Guthrie Bonesium PVC 30mm bases
  4. Decided that I'm gonna do some quick and easy animals. Not much progress tonight, but then it was a late start...
  5. Back to monster-painting, after a fairly long break. This is one of the two nasty boil-ridden critters from the Reaper Bones 77198: Barrow Rats pack. They're pretty big rats; beside a regular human-sized figure they'd be about the size of a pony.
  6. I first painted up the barrow rat that came in the original Learn To Paint Kit #1, then decided to paint the rest of the Reaper Barrow Rats in the same scheme. First the two metal variants. Now, the two Bones variants that came with Bones KS2. The Bones rats are a good bit gnarlier than their metal counterparts.
  7. I think I spent a total of an hour on these tonight to finish enough minis this month for the Resolutionary Painting Challenge. They are glossy from the glazing medium which I will take care of when I get around to sealing them.
  8. WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/59727-77198-barrow-rats/ Hairless Mangy Covered in boils... need I say more?
  9. So started a bit of work on these two, since they're using the same colors as my Kraken. Going for a mangy, nearly-hairless, nasty look Thinking yellow or green-yellow for the boils
