  1. And while our crew from Part 1 is getting the food set up, the staff of the Wyvern's Head, the local tavern, is preparing refreshments. Friar Stone (brewing consultant and beer enthusiast) and Jock Jockson the Barkeep hoist some furnishings around. Kellerman the brewer starts delivering kegs. (Stonehaven Dwarf Brewer) A couple of the barmaids and tapsters, Poppy Cloverlocks and Mary Muggs, show up to help with the prep work. With the beer and cider ready and the cooks finishing up, we move some food to the bar area. A couple more waitstaff get ready for a busy night schlepping food and ale. (The blonde is from a Nolzur's 2-pack.) Our barkeeps are ready for the rush. And here's the whole jolly crew! (Jock is being as jolly as he gets here.) A round or two with the cooks and suppliers, and let the revelries begin! Good wishes and good feasting to all this harvest season! A few other angles.
  2. First of all, this is such an awesome figure! So many details that it took me a bit longer than usual. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed every minute I got working on this guy 🙂 As before, I'm looking for ways to improve so please throw in all your critiques and suggestions. ~Z
  3. My neighbor is DMing a new pathfinder campaign soon, so I have taken it upon myself to make minis for the party. Our first game is tentatively on Tuesday, so it may be a short-lived WIP. The characters are: Dirk, the flaxen-haired and violet-eyed elf fighter. He's not too bright, but that doesn't bother him, he's just here to fight bad guys. A seventh son from the elven kingdom, he will be dressed in rich reds and gold. A'con, a fighter with anger issues. She comes from the forest kingdom, and will be dressed in bright gold and deep emerald green. Ani, the ego-driven bard and A'con's sister. She's convinced that she can do anything better than anyone else. Her favorite color is orange, so I think she will be dressed in a bright orange vest. Cathal, the dwarf cleric. I honestly don't know much about this character. So I'm just going to wing it. Varian, the spell thief. He is laying low after stealing from the wrong wizard. I am going with a red/purple/blue color scheme for him. We also possible have a sixth character, a half-halfling half-giant. He's been described as having the appearance and proportions of a halfling, but the size of a human. I am honestly completely at a loss for what to do. Any suggestions? I am looking through my many minis from the first two bones kickstarters, but nothing has jumped out at me yet.
  4. Hi all, I wanted to paint a few minis without intended purpose (no army to build or Diorama to create), and came upon Friar Stone while digging through my Bones box. This is such a great sculpt, full of character. So here is my take on it. A little experiment in browns.
  5. Just a handful of Bones 2 minis I'm working on this month. 89021: Mystic Theurge 77209: Arran Rabin 77353: Ursula, Dwarven Bear Rider 77365: Angel of Protection ( on Deva's base) 77370: Troll Slayer Sophie 77206: Friar Stone The angel will be for my mother, as a belated Birthday and Mother's day gift
  6. It looks like this and another post of mine (plus a third that I didn't finish posting) were all assigned the same post ID (or some similar identifying value) when I duplicated the new thread page last night. It looks as though everything got pretty mangled, and the only way I know of off the top of my head to fix this is to start a new post. That thread is here: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/61555-77206-friar-stone-bones-ii-release/
