  1. Going back through a few of the (many, many) unpainted Bones figures, I decided to paint these. The longer I spent on them the more I loved them. Sculpted by Ben Siens The colors were experiments that I think worked pretty well for these guys and the details were excellent (even though these were a Bones I release).
  2. The moon has blotted out the sun, so my little gobbo pal here needed to light a torch. How does he look? I'm particularly curious about the lighting, since I haven't tried anything like this before. There were three more of him on the sprue, so any advice you can offer will definitely be put to practical use! Thanks, guys!
  3. Hello everyone. Here are some goblins a painted that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. I have not posted anything in a long time because married life kind of takes up lots of my time :)
  4. 77024 Goblins 77349 Goblin Command (2) 89002 Pathfinder Goblin Pyros 89003 Pathfinder Goblin Warriors (!!! What?!? Missed these in my search and they are awesome! Next order... ) 89004 Pathfinder Goblin Warchanter I never really liked Goblins much, until Pathfinder. Something about these little monsters and the reimagining with so many teeth changed my viewpoint. So much chaos. So many pranks. So much fun. Cheap Bones Goblins? Sure! Sign me up! Still in the thinking stages of this and I don't know that I'll use all of the figures from each of the boxes, but I'm thinking of doing
  5. Hello friends!!! Here is a little diorama I threw together for the Reaper Fan Contest that was being run on facebook. The goal was for a massive group of us to each produce a Ursula (Bones version) and have tons of participation to get everyone painting, to learn, and to see the various different iterations that could be thrown together. I couldn't just paint Ursula on the broccoli base, so I ended up with this small diorama because of texting with chaosscorpion and letting my imagination get the better of me. "Two matriarchs, each a leader by her own right, struggle for control of ter
  6. I made this small diorama for cerebro1974, one of my Fall Exchange partners. A few things he mentioned he wanted were a female Druid, Goblins, or a creative small diorama. In the inspiration section he mentioned a fondness for Autumn Bronzeleaf and that goblins are a part of his campaign. In regards to a diorama he wanted to see what someone would do with the words Coastal, Cold, and Danger as inspiration. While I sat there thinking about what to do, my mind put together all of the above and went a little crazy. What he received was a result of that craziness. So the story is that some how
  7. Here are 4 Bones Pathfinder Goblins (3 pyros and a warrior) that I whipped up in 3 lunch hours so that I could complete my Resolutionary Painting Challenge goals for June. I'll probably add a couple of pictures with them off the bottle caps, but right now the dull coat is still drying....(not that I left anything to the last minute or anything....)
  8. I painted up these Goblin pyros as a group a few weeks ago. I like how they came out, in particular their faces came out well, I think. I gave them nicknames while I painted them. :) From left to right, Redcap, Frownyface, Smiley, and Skullcrotch.
  9. Hello and greetings fellow Reaper members. I am here with what i hope will be a consistent wip. I am working on Goblins. I have a unique fondness for Goblins. Sometime back in the late 2000's I had a successful MTG Goblin deck. There was the early incendiary version. Then there was the later beat down deck. Most of the time I won in five turns. These goblins will be given away as a Christmas gift to my family members. Long ago I came across some goblin pillars. I painted them using testors enamels and gave them a marble finish. That piece was given to a close high school friend. I current
  10. Here's my pathfinder goblins - I played with OSL at different intensities, I think my lesson has been learned seeing them in photos - more intense is better. Then my orcs - I posted the two handed sword guy a long time ago, and the archer as well, but I finally got around to batch painting the rest of them. Hmm I had two different pics of the Orcs anticipating some focus issues, but there didn't seem to be any, but I have 'em hosted offsite so I'll post 'em anyway...
