  1. In the 5E game I recently started played, one of the characters created a halfling bard. I had yet to paint Lem from the Kickstarter so he received a quick paint for the tabletop last week. Of course, that player didn't show up to last weeks game but Lem is ready when needed. Now that I look at it I see there are a few little bits that I missed but I doubt I go back and touch him up.
  2. Hi! You might remember me from such threads as Bones - will they blend? & Painting with numbers the Laoke Way. I've been away from the paintbrush for a bit, as it's summer here in The Land Of The Future, but recently one of my wife's best friends spawned a delightful little halfling which the doting parental units decided to name Peregrine. I know. Cute as a button! Anyways, as a gift to the little sprogling, she decided to paint up a figure for him - and, while she was at it, she painted up one for our collection at the same time! 77218: Woody Stumpwimple, Halfling Ranger This is the one she painted up for us. I love the freehand on this one! The face is a bit naff from this angle and with the lighting being as basic as it is, but it's much better in person. 89012: Lem, Iconic Bard And here we have Peregrine in all his diminutive glory! She's really happy with the way the face came out on him, and I have to agree - the cloak is also pretty amazeballs!
  3. Back for the January Bones Beauty Contest I painted up a half dozen or so Bones halflings and gnomes (and enough more metal halflings to make a baker's dozen, but they will get shown later). This is Lem, Iconic Bard. I painted his facial expression after a particular mischievous and charming nephew of mine. I played a flute like his in school; the reflections on the flute are all painted on.
  4. While working on a small diormama concept I have painted up two small musicians , the first is Lem the Iconoic Bard from bones I. I have cut him off his base in antcipation of attaching him to something later but I am not sure what yet. Enjoy and feel free to send some critique my way (I can duck )
