Good even all you lovers of all things Reaper! Here's hoping you have love left for other brands as well, as tonight I'm posting a hobgoblin alchemist from the 3D printable world of Stonehaven Miniatures, digitally sculpted by Michael Evans. I really love this figure and I even like my paint job, even though as of always I noticed two spots I'm not too fond of, now that I see her on the "big screen". Not sure if I can be bothered enough to fix, but we'll see. It's already on to the next miniature I fear! Oddly enough I almost feel like the gold turned out okay, but I do see a few spots that need marked improvement. Anyhoos, hope you enjoy! My only other issue was the blue hobgoblin nose that Just didn't dare put on here, much as I didn't dare put the blue nose on my Reaper female hobgoblin archer. But I still think she came out okay in any case.

Presenting Venin, a member of the Alchemists Guild from the, now defunct, game Guild Ball from Steamforged Games. A man whose towering ego never matched his mediocre skills as both an Alchemist and a Guild Baller. Too dumb to realise he was being set up when one of his side jobs as an assassin went wrong, he ended up being beaten to death in retaliation. Had a few problems deciding on colours (I'm still not convinced on the sky blue trim of his shirt), but he's done and he doesn't look terrible. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Presenting Calculus, she's an alchemist from the Alchemy Guild wielding some sort of alchemy flute, she was made by Steamforged Games as part of their discontinued Guild Ball range. Not too happy with this one. Her face and hair came out okay, but it went downhill from there, couldn't even do a decent job taking piccys. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Chrysoprasia aka Crazy Chrissie. Named for the Dr & Quinch character, going to be my alchemist in an upcoming horror game. The colour scheme was inspired by the elven tribes in the new Pathfinder expansion, Mwangi Expanse. The model was a 3d print, but all paints are Reaper. My first time ever both painting dark skin tones and using a wet palette. Overall quite happy with the result.

This is Ametrine.e looked more like a gnome to me than a dwarf.more so the next time I paint her, we'll see what we end up with! She is incredibly cute and a lot of fun!

Well, that one was a bit challenging. Mostly for the patience it takes to go through all his gold decoration lol The palette is nothing special: I tried to copy Confrontation's official painting, except I used true metals because NMM are far beyond my hability. Confrontation was well known for a while as one of the top miniature companies in the market. Tons of figures with a bold and eccentric design. I have a few of them but Misran is the first I actually paint. I think it's pretty original, fun, and a good example of Confrontation's fantasy style where proportion or logic matters less than eye appeal. All critiques so very welcome!

Hello, This is my first post on the site. I figured I'd post my Alchemist that I am currently using in a campaign. I went with black hair rather than the actual iconic since I was attempting to make this figure match more of what I was playing. Anyway, here are the pics. I know there are much nicer examples out there, but I think this one looks pretty good for my low skill level. Thanks.

I painted this one over the past week for a D&D player at my LGS. He wanted some celtic symbols on the cloak, and those were pretty fun to paint after. The trim at the bottom of the cloak got a little messy, but I'm okay with the overall look.

Over the weekend I finished up Damiel, Iconic Alchemist, from the Bones 1 Kickstarter Iconics and Officially Licensed Pathfinder Miniatures Set. Since he is an alchemist, I thought it might be fun to give him a white lab-coat. Painted for the tabletop. C & C welcome.

With apologies for another "20" joke. So one day I saw ol' Raphael LaCroix, and I was rather taken with him. A gunslinging goblin! Go figure. My brain started plotting. I ordered me a Raphael when I saw him on sale. Then a while later I saw Ophelia and Rami on sale. I had to have them. Then I saw Pere Ravage. And the gang was about complete. Next session we have (next weekend, knock on wood), my players will be having an old-school showdown straight out of the talkies. A village's children have been kidnapped by savage, but oddly crafty, goblins who've come by guns, not altogether scarce in our world . . . and some fancy duds. Generated them as NPCs using the ARG rules, and they are absolutely freakin' killer. Should be a great and challenging string of encounters for my group. I shot for "simple and done" with these, pretty much. They were a lot of fun, though. First up is Raphael LaCroix, aka Jathan. Leader of the gang, he's the meanest and deadliest 'slinger around. Next is Ophelia, aka Eloise. Nearly as deadly as her lover Jathan, she's also, she'll be quick to tell you, much sexier than he. One is wise to keep an eye on her at all times. Rami LaCroix, aka Dom, is perhaps the least speedy and experienced of his kin. What he lacks in mobility, however, he makes up for with the brutal use of his axe musket (not pictured) as he switches from firing shells to crushing skulls. Finally, Pere Ravage, aka Gibberz. Gibberz morphed around on me, going from modified grenade-slinging gunslinger to alchemist. I think it worked in his favor. The heart and philosophical soul of the gang, Gibberz is an immaculately dressed and crafty foe, using bombs and magic to strike and run. Some say there is another, a mysterious stranger who operates in the shadows to aid the gang . . . but for now this remains only a rumor. Thanks for looking!

I finally got some decent brushes in and some nice Reaper paints, which means I no longer have any excuses to procrastinate. That also means it's time to practice everyone's favorite part of mini painting: eyes! And what better practice than an eye beast. Fun fact: the Reaper eye beast has 25 eyes! That's a lot of teeny little highlights to do. Pardon the blurry photos, my phone hates minis. As far as the mad-sciencing goes, well... I figured Damiel would be a good candidate for a bit of head-transplant surgery. His lab coat was perfect for my pathfinder alchemist, but his head just wasn't bird-y enough. I'm thinking of going for a nice clean, white paintjob on the coat and a dark, iridescent head.

Dr. Philodendron Arkadius, my mutagen focused Alchemist. I wanted two different forms of the same mini to represent the transformation, and I dig this mini. He had a gun in his hand, and that didn't fit, so I lopped it off and make a potion vial out of green stuff. For the mutagen form, I was channeling Solomon Grundy from DC comics, hence the alabaster skin. I want to do some type of cool base for both, but haven't decided what yet. Might just do cobble stones, with a shattered vial on the ground of the mutagen form, Arkady. Human form! Mutant Form!

A Birthday present for a friend.

Was in the mood to paint a hero. This guy had looked like an interesting miniature for a while. I'm not that familiar with the pathfinder iconics (Reaper introduced me to them) but I like how he's a male hero but doesn't conform to a very stereotypical-looking typecast kind of hero. Of course you need your standard heroes too. But sometimes nice to have something a little different. Anyways, nothing special here. Tried to line his jacket and couldn't get it right so ended up just using a wash then painting over instead. Reaper triad [muddy, earth, leather brown] served pretty well and seems to make a nice leather-looking color when I need it. Kept him as pale as I could. Hair didn't turn out as nicely as some hair I've done in the past but it was okay. Bottles were kind of fun. I'd wanted to try a frosting look on the bottles but I chickened out. Apologize for some of the photos being poor focus. Comments/criticism welcome.

hey, I've been a long time creeper of the page and a supporter of both Bones & Bones II Kickstarter. well, I finally decided to give it a go and painted my first mini. hope you guys like it and if you have any tips or advice, I'd appreciate it!!!

And the last one of the Dark Sword animal party, The Mole Alchimist. The people in his village insisted he'd join the party ( maybe something to do with him blowing up the Inn with his experiments)

Hello again everyone who comes to this lovely little forum to show off and take a look at some of the nicest miniatures around. Today I bring to you not a Reaper mini (didn't have one that fit my character so had to look else where), but one I found for a game called Hell Dorado. So far I've finished only the base coat and a little bit of the highlighting on his body. I'm looking at whitening up his clothes a bit more and then I need to work on his eyes and all of the touchups. So without further adieu, here is my latest mini: When I finish him up tomorrow I'll be sure to post the final product and share some of my thoughts on this particular mini. In the mean time if yall have any comments or recommendations I would love to hear them as I'm still very much a newbie to the hobby.
