  1. I'm pretty new to Bones and painting in general. After casually practicing on board game pieces and some of my brother-in-law's old fantasy Warhammer stuff for about a year, these were the first two bones I attempted. Pretty happy with them, though I've still got a ways to go. I tried to do a bit of a glow on the sword which went terribly, but I was able to work it into a weird looking kind of patina. The bats were...difficult. Not the wisest choice of mini on my part, but I'm pleased enough with the final product, given that it was a bit of a quick and dirty job. I'm at least pleased with how the tombstone and everything below it turned out. Anyway, hi! Happy to share these and C&C is very welcome. I'll be receiving my first real shipment of Bones next week when my Kickstarter order arrives, so hopefully I'll have more to share soon!
  2. Another one done :D .. not enough or too much blood maybe well.. xD
  3. Howdy, Kev! P.S. No bones about it...
  4. Here is Arrius, Bones Skeletal Warrior (77158). I am happy with his fiery cloak. Edited to add SKU to tags
  5. I've decided to put myself out there with a miniature I am clueless as to how to paint. I have a few ideas, but I also am open to suggestions from the forum. I am going to paint Arrius, Skelatel Warior. I intend to use some of the techniques that I have been watching. My "Dragged though the swamp" on Decisions Decisions worked for me, but was a lot of wash being lost, and covered over. Think this time I will paint smarter, not heavier. I will solicit your input, and I hope that you will indulge me with your comments. If I learn something, so will anyone looking at the topic. Jasonator. Here is the mini with its primer of Krylon Camo Gray!
  6. I recently painted my Arrius from the First Bones Kickstarter, and I think it came out all right. Anyway, just thought I'd show it off.
