  1. Painted this little guy up last night. I am trying to get 5 more finished before tomorrow. If my players make the wrong choice in the riddle they will be given, they will all be turned into Mouselings! He is very cute and was a ton of fun to paint. I will post photos of the others as I get them finished. C&C welcome
  2. This is the little mage that goes with the Wizard in the Mouseling Wizards set from Bones 3. She hasn't been sealed yet so the orb isn't glossy and she herself is a bit shiny in places. Another fun little mouse! I even gave her lavender eye shadow. It was hard to tell what a couple things on her were. I guessed it is a scroll case attached to one side of her belt with a pouch. I have no idea what is supposed to be under her other arm attached to her belt. We'll see if she makes an appearance in tomorrow's game! C&C welcome!
  3. Logos

    Naga

Did really have a scheme in mind when I did this and it kinda shows but it's done and i am happy with it. On to the next one! lol
  4. Hi All! Here's Kyphrixis from the Bones 3 Kickstarter which I've been working on for the last few weeks. Thanks for looking!
  5. Howdy, Here is a model I painted at ReaperCon 2017... Also the Overlords Casualty Marker, Kev!
  6. Not as crazy about these as the wizards. Not a big fan of painting metal. Oh well, they turned out fine for table top. Her nose doesn't show up very well in the photos. Her metal bikini top reminds me of disco balls haha! I will have to get up early in the morning and try and get the last two finished before game time. Ugh! It is almost 2:30 am here.
  7. Honestly I was looking forward to this model and was a bit of a disappointment. It's details are too muddied and it's hard to get anything out of it from the plastic model. I think this is available in metal and it's probably allot better. I did the best I could but eventually I just gave up and left it as it is. Still might do something with the flag in the future. Not very good at doing patterns and free-styling designs though.
  8. In the third Bones kickstarter, one of the dragons was made available in clear Bones material, in addition to the normal offwhite the Bones usually come in. Naturally, I opted for the clear one. Reiterating how to paint translucent minis: Clearly, it is nessecary to use paints that in themselves are translucent, such as inks or quickshades to preserve some of the dragon’s own translucency or it will all be for nought! From bitter experience I know that the usual opaque paints will *not* work if you want any sort of translucent effect, even if they are thinned considerably. Many
  9. First Attempt at NMM. Watched some videos on Youtube, but i find it difficult where to put the "reflections" on the gold, aka where and how much, do i put the white. plzz advice. Colour used white middlestone, Vallejo air Dark earth, vallejo air burnt umber, vallejo air carroburg crimson, citadel shade I use vallejo air, because i like the waterys viscosity of the paint. I can wetblend with it on the model. Just started with Airbrush, so i try to basecolour as much as posible with airbrush
  10. Howdy, Camel, loaded and unloaded... Thanks, Kev!
  11. Did this on the weekend. I really like how it turned out. From the expansions for the Bone 3 Kickstarter I think the Mythos one is my favorite. Also did I get the name wrong? I tried a google image search and the only name I found that looked similar to the model was Nyarlathotep.
  12. It turned out ok......didn't spend allot of time on it. Think I could do better in the future if I pick another one up.
  13. I did a super simple job on this one and I really like how it turned out. Also the fit of the pack is so good on the model I didn't bother to glue it on so now I have a camel that I can use as a wild animal and a pack animal. Man reaper needs to official release some of the bones 3 figs faster. I need to by more! Especially since these anniversary figures are making me spend $50 to $60 bucks a month in their store.
  14. This one is the bones version witch is a little from the metal one. My first good attempt at doing the eyes properly (which of course dosen't show up well in these pics!) so I am a bit proud of this one. I am building quite the gagle of dwarf and halfling models at the moment. Going to have to post them all when I get done....hopefully this weekend but I doubt it. There is always a nice big monster to paint instead. Should be doing these more though....oh well.
  15. It's an alter and a statue? Don't know the numbers/names but I like how they turned out. Most of the colors are from using those army paint shades I got in one of their box sets that I haven't done anything with yet.
  16. This one was fun and super simple to do. Think I might pick up another or 2 when they become available
  17. Hello everyone, Over in the Bones 4 Kickstarter enthusiasm thread, there seemed to be quite a few people calling for a list of the new bones figures coming because of the kickstarter. I had a spreadsheet that I'd been using for the previous kickstarters and have tacked a Bones 4 sheet onto it. This is open for editing by anyone to edit and fix things I've missed. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dFN0lQL096zQMq8KG5aXcgrA7-VEIEoU6W-ujck7kj4/edit#gid=142862380 (same as linked in my signature). Entries are group by set (core, expansions, add ons, etc) and
  18. Howdy, Finally got the door done. Thanks for looking, Kev! P.s. the roof is a base coat of reaper jade, streaked with bronze then brass until the jade is heavily obscured
  19. Howdy, After seeing some of these painted with teeth, I decided to try a tentacled approach... click pic for full size... Thanks for looking, Kev!
  20. Painting a dragon with random palette of colors was a fun challenge. One of the most fun to paint this year. (tied with Hippo King) Contest Thread Combined Show-Off thread WIP Insomnia started out as a storm dragon, but I chose to go with ocean waves instead. I didn't have a sea dragon, and was having fun with water bases. at 3 weeks of painting it is the second fastest dragon I have finished. Really it just flew by, and I kept making more time to work on him. His name is Insomina because of more than the usual late or middle of the night paintin
  21. Really like how this one turned out.
  22. Was doing some prepwork for a Pathfinder campaign and realized, the PCs will be fighting an Ogre Sorceress fairly early on. Kind of hit me that "Hey I just Got one of those" so while I am still working through Bones 2, I went and dug into Bones 3 for this one. and damn she has turned out really nice. Very proud of this one and can't wait till she beats down my players.
  23. he Bones 3 kickstarter shipment arrived at long last! Hoody Hoo! Which also means I have been in a frenzy of difficult mould line removal, scrubbing little white rubbery plastic bits in warm soapy water, dipping said bits in boiling hot water then cold to unbend bits here and there, and gluing stuff together and to their new bases. There are rather a lot of minis in this shipment... So I break it down into portions. Already I have roughly a square meter covered in mins that are ready for the undercoat. I snuck some of the translucent clear minis out first and did them up in
  24. The scenery from The Bones 3: Mythos Expansion 77525 Great Obelisk. I have tried to vary the tones on the greys used here, on the obelisk itself and not just the cephalopod on top. It really does not show up too well in the pictures. 77523 Cthulhu Shrine A statue that causes sanity loss. As above, I trued to vary the tones, mostly with different coloured glazes. And they do not really show up in the pictures here either. This does not seem to have a code nor a name (yet). It is also from the Bones 3 M
  25. I haven't held a brush in many years, but it was bound to happen again--Evil cannot be contained forever. I now commence the assault on your senses with a selection of miniatures. The pictures aren't very good, but we have a start(l)ing place. Besides, they've just gone through the liner so there's not much (Deep HurtingTM) to see yet. Right now, I'll be looking for tabletop quality. The Imperial Assault minis are the group we've been using for the campaign and a selection of wookiees because I thought they might be fun. Diala Passil (Force-wielding twi'lek) is my character. I
