Sir Rathos is one of the sculpts I seem to keep coming back to. I did the Bones version of him as a pumpkin headed knight awhile back, and this time as the leader of the skeletal force I'm painting up this month. Added a pumpkin from the Reaper Jack o Lanterns and Pumpkin pack to his base to tie him in with the units. Being the fellow in charge he gets the fanged pumpkin on his shield.

I decided to do this Barrow Warden with a speed paint followed by the dip method. I painted him him with a mixture of Army Painter and Reaper paints. I then dipped him into the Army Painter Quickshade "Strong" Tone. Shook him off a few times and then let dry. I still need to apply anti shine to him but am quite pleased with the results. I dont see see the quick shade replacing my GW washes but it's a nice alternative to when I want to get something done quickly. thanks for looking. Comments and critiques are always appreciated.

I decided to do a speed paint on this Barrow Warden. Primered with Army Painter matte black. Used Reaper HD paints with Citadel washes. The base was done with Citadel texture paint. Comments and and critiques are always welcome.

Also finished off my Barrow Wardens. I might have gone a little heavy on the rust, but I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I might have to try thinning out the brighter rust from the Vallejo special effects so it flows into the crevaces more easily.
