  1. Just testing a color scheme and getting my paint recipe worked out before tacking a whole army of these dudes. Basic color is spray primed Army Painter purple, then I hit the front with Army painter yellow spray. Dry brush everything with a bone color, wash everything with purple ink, then wash the backside with black ink. Testing out the weapons with grey paint, dark tone wash, then paint on Green Stuff World chrome paint on flat surfaces. Overall I am really happy with the color scheme, it captures a cool alien vibe and is easy and super fat to paint. Now to dig out the hundred or so models I have collected to fill out an armies worth.
  2. Finished this today, Reaper Black Bones Bathalian Centurion. A really nice, clean model, not a lot of clean up needed before painting. I primed with Reaper black. The darkest red I found was Reaper Ruby Red, still a bit on the raspberry side, but added a touch of black and it toned down nicely. Other metallics from the Scale75 copper set. This model has already gleaned a couple of ‘scary!’ accolades. Bad dude!
  3. Just a little speed paint of some bones Bathalians these were about an hour and a half each Exarch: Centurion Primarch: Of the three I like the centurion the most.
