  1. Another figure I painted last year that never made it to show off. This is the metal version, no longer in the web store so I don't know the number off hand. She had been on my desk a long time and I finished her before Halloween last year. I know green isn't a standard Halloween color, but it worked for her. She's a good witch, not the kind that eats children.
  2. Another figure I painted last year that never made it to show off. This is the plastic version, 77595. She had been on my desk a long time and I finished her before Halloween last year. Sorry it is slightly out of focus. Orange and purple, pretty standard Halloween colors.
  3. Esme. I just can't lie. I love chibis and I don't know why.
  4. Bonesylvanian and Mr & Mrs Bones and vulture. Pics to be added later.
  5. Put this piece together for the friends that got me back into the mini world. It was an anniversary gift. My second reaper piece, I love this stuff! Thank you Jim and Kaitlin!
  6. I bought this guy just before Halloween last year and promptly lost him. I found him Saturday evening under the sofa(!) while looking for my dog's missing tennis ball, so I finally got to paint him. This is the metal version but I can't find him on the Reaper site so I've given him the Bones SKU. The "leaves" on the base are actually bits of crushed red chili pepper and the stalk thingies are from a tree that's reachable from our balcony.
  7. After painting the Bonesylvanians Lon figure to look like my girlfriend's dog Erebus, I decided my dog Cadbury deserves the same treatment. He's wearing purple trousers because Cadbury chocolate comes in purple wrappers. I don't know why I did the belt in orange though. And please ignore the crappy job on the base. Here he is in real life:
  8. I picked this up to paint for my girlfriend as Lon reminds me of her dog Erebus. He was fun to paint, although looking at the photo I can see a lot of flash I missed. As Erebus is female I probably should have done Lon's trousers in pink or the same teal shade as Erebus's collar and leash.
  9. This little lady has been kicking around my desk for a while. She’s a really fun little figure and I’d been putting paint on her here and there and I finished her up tonight.
  10. I really love the Bonesylvanians. After taking Derek Schubert's "Monochrome Painting" class at the Reaper Artist Conference last October, I was really excited to try my hand at it. [side note: Check out the miniatures he used for the class demos (and later finished up) in Derek's forum post here. Give it a shot, it's something everyone should try at least once!] I won't claim that I painted Gus using only black and white-- I added a bit of blue too! I painted him using only Ghost White (of course), Snow Shadow, and Blue Liner. The only exceptions to this are his eyes = Brilliant Blue and his tooth = Pure White. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how he turned out. I found that painting white can be a real challenge and that painting monochrome is leading me into some interesting future painting studies in values and textures! 11. Some new Reaper minis for valentines! From Reapers Facebook page:
  12. Well, here is a mini I painted just for fun to give me a break from the LTPK3 NMM figures I was working on. I attempted to give him glowing eyes and NMM for the buttons. I had fun painting him up. Thanks for viewing and any C&C you feel like giving. Edit to remove spacing I had it for some reason.
  13. Figure a lot of us will be getting these over the next few weeks...
  14. And now here are the current three! Lots of fun to paint these guys, all three have great expressions.
