  1. This was done for a fun competition where you were supposed to recreate an album cover with miniatures. I chose the Army of Darkness Official Soundtrack. It uses the same art as the Movie. :) All I can post here is a WIP, pic. The rest, as well as the final result can be found in the links below, due to nudity.: WIP / photobox images: http://i.imgur.com/nnpwbFv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9du3P58.jpg http://i.imgur.com/ntIrUGC.jpg Final result. There was no way to fit all nine minis, along with the scenery in my photobox, so the colours / paint suffered a bit in this one, b
  2. I don't know anything about the character but she looks like a junk yard dog type Orc from a more modern time. I added some gore chunks to the chainsaw. Hope you like it. ;)
  3. A recently finished piece that stands on her own, I picked up Kulgara during Free RPG Day. She's a great mini and a fun encounter in "Iron Gods"...one day I may even run it to get a use for her in a game!
  4. I decided I needed to finish something. I had her almost done except for the base since January. I went to paint her and I noticed her face had gotten an blob of blue from my rasia covering it almost completely. So I applied some W&N Brush Cleaner to it to clean it up. From there I repainted it, trying to match the colors as best as I could. I then attempted to freehand the base to match the diner tile to the best of my ability and desire, she is a speed paint for a tabletop game. She was a speed paint using Wappel's shaded basecoat method. I finished most of her up in a weekend.
  5. I think I was nineteen when I first saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The original, not the remakes or the sequels. In fact, I think when I was nineteen, there WERE no remakes or sequels yet. The WAY I saw it, though, was significant. Y'see, I saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre for the first time while I was out in the woods in the middle of the night. It was a campout, y'see. I was out in a state park with a scattering of friends, in the middle of October, which is actually a very pleasant time to be outdoors in central Texas; cold weather doesn't really begin until November, but the weather
  6. The recent (and long awaited) arrival of my Judge Dredd rulebook has got me on another Mega-City One painting kick! Finished up a couple of renegade robots today, here's the servo droid. I couldn't resist adding some gore to the chainsaw after reading a nice and simple tutorial recently. I decided not to go for a full-on splatterfest, though, it would have been quite easy to go overboard. I really like this model for reasons I'm not entirely sure about. I think it's the strange combination of the droid's non-threatening design and the huge chainsaw it has for a hand.
  7. Finished a few more reaper bones that I forgot to post silly me! We are using the chainsaw chick above and the barbarian below in our Warhammer quest games with much hapiness. And of course the bones were a perfect source of ghosts for that very same game. Hope my FLGS will be able to stock bones again soon. On the other hand I can't blame reaper if they want to take a little well deserved vacation :P
