Yes it is him. Probably the most iconic Mini of an Evil sorcerer ever. And the longest sitting on my desk Mini in my Arsenal. In my Edition it was called Hexer, meaning warlock. Dont know the Original Name. I have to finish this one if I ever want to get my painthandle back.

This is my October Trio for Reaper Challenge League. Khanag the Slayer. As far as scale goes, he could be an ogre or half-giant. Mine was part of the Kickstarter. So it came in pieces. I did the base first. Stone Grey Triad, washes with Nuln Oil, Agrax Earthshade, Biel-Tan Green. The iron shackles are Dragon Black with a few layers mixed with Ashen Blue. Then I did the inside of the cloak. Dragon Black with added Ashen Blue for layers. Then the boots. Russet Brown, added Tanned Leather, washed with Agrax Earthshade, reapplied first mix, then added more Tanned Leather for highlights. Steel NMM next. Blue liner, then Nightmare Black, then mixed Nightmare Black, Tropical Blue, Cloudy Grey. Brighter layers with added Cloudy Grey. Then started adding Dragon white. Final highlight was almost pure Dragon White with a little of the blue mix. Working on the main armor next. “Red Lacquer” with gold trim.

I started my Benedikt Project. It is going to be a present for my brother Benedikt. I assume this guy will take me a very along time. The mini sits on my desk for s long time but Progress is slow. Maybe Posting here will get me some Motivation. I will try a style with stark contrasts of light and dark like some of Frazettas works. The mini will get a special Base but that is a long was to go. So lets get started.

Quick, easy and cheap. †Probably not good for you, but here is: Scavenger Hunt Lo Mein 1 package Top Ramen (beef or pork works best), 1/2 to 1 cup frozen Peas and Carrots two table spoons of cooking oil (olive preferable) one slice of lunchmeat (ham preferable) (optional) 1 egg In a small pot heat up the peas and carrots, when they are basically thawed put them in a bowl. †Dice up the meat into little pieces and toss it in with the veggies. Boil the ramen and drain off the water. †After draining the water add the soup spice package and stir up the noodles. †(For maximum efficiency use the same pot you heated the veggies in) In a sauce pan of sufficient size heat the oil for three minutes or so, no more than five. †The heat setting should be between low and medium heat and mix the stuff in the bowl with the noodles. †Put the noodles and stuff in the oil and mix gently for three to five minutes and it will be Lo Mein. You can add other stuff, if you whip the egg and cook it up omelette style, then dice it you can add it with the stuff in the bowl to the noodles. †I like to throw in some finely diced bell peppers. †The more stuff you add the less Peas and Carrots you need. You get about two adult servings. †Helps if you have something to go with it. †Eggrolls in the oven is a favorite of mine. †But, in keeping with the scavenger hunt whatever you find is fair game. †This has worked well for me on the no one wants to cook and no one wants to go out nights where we fend for ourselves. †Usually takes less than thirty minutes to make. It's not pretty, but it usually tastes good. † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † † :O

A conversion using a first-edition metal dreadnought and a second-edition metal Keeper of Secrets. Lots of greenstuff, superglue, paint, time, effort and swearing, but I'm happy with it. The dead Blood Angel is just to fill some space.

Went a bit old-school. I always loved these minis back in the day, but only actually bought some last year.

Slaad from Nolzur's. Blue and Green painted in their normal colors; Death and Gray panted in red and black. Not just for fantasy; also make good spacemonsters and post-apocalyptic mutant/invaders, as shown here.

So, I heard Chaos Marauders are essential in Maggotkin of Nurgle armies in Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. I prepped these guys for our planned league game that got delayed due to the pandemic. At this rate, Sons of Behemat will be out before we can play.

They called them Renegade. Traitor. Heretic. Just for abandoning the lies of the Corpse-Emperor for the loving embrace of Grandfather Nurgle. They heard his call, they would tend to the eternal garden. Here are some of my last finished miniatures of 2019, I just forgot to upload them to the forums. Cultists, Renegades, and Traitors to serve in my Warhammer 40k forces.

Tzeentch has always been one of my favorite parts of the Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar settings. I love both the concepts behind the Changer of Ways and the brilliant deformed mutants and demons that form his legions. Here are some Tzeentch minis that I’ve gotten to paint up recently. They’re actually from a few separate clients who were all excited about Tzeentch in this similar color schemes.

Presenting Sir George the Gangly (I'm sure that's a real word despite what my spellchecker says), not sure who makes him, I found George and a few other Chaos types in a box while I was tidying up. Had a lot of fun painting him, although my camera didn't like taking piccys of so much metallic paint! As always, any comments or criticisms are warming received.

Here my latest work. I keep trying and trying with black: highliting black. I tried with blue for a while till I was quite happy with it, and now I’m trying with grey which is more difficult... it does show here, since it completely reads as grey skin but oh well, it’s still a job I’m happy with. That’s Be’lakor, one of the finest demon figures ever made by any manufacturer. First chaos everchosen, first mortal to ascend to demonhood, blessed and cursed, the lord of the dark...

WARNING NUDITY so LINKS. EDIT: Since Photbucket got Evil I linked my Putty and Paint Page here: http://www.puttyandpaint.com/projects/15073 EDITED AGAIN I HAVE A NEW HOSTING SITE> LINKED FOR NUDITY https://postimg.cc/image/rxfnuilx1/ https://postimg.cc/image/4j7oiljf9/ https://postimg.cc/image/hnd8vaj6t/ https://postimg.cc/image/4j7oilyut/ This is my first take on a bust. It's from Kabuki 1/6 scale. Since she's a Not Red Sonja, I gave her warpaint like Conan has. I tried a freehand tattoo, it's supposed to be a stylized Dragon/Snake eating his own tail. I had loads of fun painting her. Here Is my WIP if interested. http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/62241-ky-ra-bust-16-kabuki-by-xherman1964/

Finished this one up today, Been working on him a little at a time to get it done for a small competition that required painting a mini that was over 20 years old. Happy with how it turned out, as well as the Khornate Icon he's standing on. Learned a lot from what was my first real base scratchbuild. WIP Forum link here Starting off with an artsy shot. and a closeup

For a painting competition entry I had to find a 20 year old miniature to work with. Digging through my old boxes of minis (mostly Games Workshop) I found a "Kharn the Betrayer" chaos space marine from 96 (I think was the date on his tab). Decided I wanted to give him a fun base, something more than just the general skull pile he's usually on. So, started scratchbuilding a symbol of Khorne for him to stand on, here's two pics of the understructure. (Bottom of the actual base is the black, white cap is just for handling.) This (although small) is the most involved basing project Ive done to date, and I'm already learning lots on how to do things better, and a lot of what not to do. Anyway, will be updating as I progress further on him. - Added some more detailing to the base, and started laying ground for skulls. - More skulls and playing around with details on the symbol, have added a removed a few things that didnt turn out how I liked. - And some more skulls, also added paper cut of potential plating on the symbol on top right portion. Think I like it and will add to the rest of them for next update (which wont be til next week, as out of town til then.)

Inspired by my acquisition of the new easy-build Blightlord kit and wanting to field some different formations for 40k, I built up a few extra Blightlord Terminators and painted them all up! Here comes Fat Voldemort and the Pants-Poopin' Crew. "Smile, lads!" The whole crew. Fat Voldemort himself. He's just so happy! The Spewer-Crewer: The Reaper Autocannon. The Flail of Corruption: The only guy actually equipped with a Combi-Plasma, which they'll probably all be using: Bone-Guy: Tentacool: Mr. Spikey: The Axeman:
