Here we have a collection of treasure markers made by various manufacturers ( I'm pretty sure the boots are Reaper, and I know the bags are ) that I've done up for Frostgrave.

This is Reaper's very own lovable version of a monster from a fairly popular RPG. I painted this up to my usual tabletop level, let me know what you think, please.

I finished up the table and benches from Bones 2 the other day. Still playing with camera settings to try to get good pictures; the first one is closer to the actual color, the second one isn't as dark. Let me know what you think.

Some of us that frequent the Google hang-outs (come check it out, it's quite fun) decided to try doing a 'mini of the month' based on discussion of this particular figure. We have continued doing this, but with Reaper figures since. This guy was the February mini. I'm not late getting him done, the other guys who already finished thiers are over achievers. Anyway, here he is, finally. Painted to at or maybe slightly above table top level. Please let me know what you think. And a couple close ups to prove I did his eyes.

Someone else here had picked up a wooden log cabin kit from Hobby Lobby a while ago and posted it here. I picked one up myself the other day and started to work on it. This is the one I'm talking about. As you can see from the picture, it's not too terribly expensive. This is both good and bad. I'll get to that in a few minutes. This is the basic assembly; it took me about 20 minutes only because a few of the pieces needed to be trimmed a little bit for a good fit. Unfortunately, my kit was missing 2 pieces; there are supposed to be 2 'half logs' that go on the very bottom of

I finished this guy up on Friday; he's an old Ral Partha thief (if i remember correctly, he came in a 2 or 3 piece blister pack with some of his fellows; I'm pretty sure I've got them around here somewhere). My usual tabletop paintjob; I hope you like him. I'm still experimenting with my pictures; which version looks better?

Welcome to the BoGW chatter thread for round 4! Did everyone like the way we did last round with coordinator 'a' shipping the box out, but having the circuit end with coordinator 'b'? Or would everyone rather go back to coordinator 'a' sending out a box and having it return to him/her at the end of the circuit? And here's the arrival/departure thread: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/68383-the-travels-of-sir-forscale-and-friends-box-of-goodwill-round-4-arrivaldeparture-thread-no-chatter/ Also, if there are any questions, check the first post here: http://forum.reap

I bought a couple of the new Wizkids figures from my FLGS a week or two ago. They had the whole range, but I wasn't too terribly interested in most of the humanoid figures. The monsters were another story; I got this killer kitty cat and the Griffon. Something about this figure really grabbed me; it jumped straight to the #1 spot on my painting queue. This was a very fast figure to paint; my usual tabletop standard took me about 2 hours. I hope you like it .

I've been on a bit of a Sci-Fi kick recently, so I'm going to be converting and painting up the Bones version of the Nova Corp troops. The original head on this guy has a horrible mold line, so I swapped it with a GW Dark Eldar. Nothing wrong with her head, I just don't like having a bunch of clones, so I'll be giving her a bare head. With new head (from GW Wood Elves).

In the cold wastes of the North, the followers of the gods of Chaos gather in their thousands. Hordes of barbaric marauders and armor-clad warriors pour forth from the bleak wastelands to wage war against the soft-bellied wastrels who inhabit the rich lands of the south. Daemonic legions advance with them, proof that the Northmen truly are the favored of the gods. ---taken from the Hordes of Chaos army book by Games Workshop. I've always really liked the aesthetic of GW's old Realm of Chaos range of figures ever since I first found some for sale in an old, off the beaten path (and sadl

I think this is an old Citadel barbarian figure that I finished last night. He was actually a 'paint catcher' ( an old/broken figure I keep around to test paint ideas on ) for a while that I decided to actually finish off. He's a little rough, I did him in a couple hours to get myself back into painting after a few weeks of nothing. I hope you like him, he'll be serving as a thug in one of my Frostgrave warbands. I'm also not positive on the manufacturer; please let me know if I'm wrong and I'll correct the post.

This is a Heroclix figure (Lex Corp Security if you're interested) that i got out of a Box of Goodwill. She was a quick and easy repaint, I liked the colors they used, so I just fixed them up so they weren't slopped all over each other. I figure she'll work well in modern, zombie, and possibly near future/ sci-fi games as a secret agent or something like that. I tried to paint her sunglasses to look as though they were reflecting the sky; does it work or does it look lousy? Be honest, please.

So, a bunch of us have decided that we're going to work on the same figure every month on the Google Hangouts. The first one (that spawned the idea) is the old Chainmail Orc Druid. In the future, most of the figures chosen will probably be Reaper. I used part of my day off yesterday to find, and get caught up with, everyone else that's doing this. I decided to go with the stereotypical orcs=green paint scheme. I had 2 excellent reasons for this: 1) The green paint already happened to be out and open, 2) There's this skirmish game called 'Mordheim' where you control a warband that's loo

I finished up Tara the silent, a very cool figure sculpted by Sandra Garrity ( I love her work!) last night. I was super happy with her and quite stoked that I managed to do a very good job on her eyes.... .....until I saw the pictures. They look wonky. I'd swear on a stack of bibles that they looked perfect to me under the best magnification I have. I literally cannot see any way to make them better/fix them, but I hate how they look in the pictures. I know that the camera is everyone's worst enemy (I've said it myself more than once), but I'm almost embarrassed to post these...

This is an old grenadier figure from the 'Fantasy Warriors' range/game. I'm not entirely certain what he's called; he's not in Mirilton's catalogue, so I guess his mold didn't survive. At any rate, I found him again recently and decided to give him some paint. Tabletop work as usual; I hope you like him.
