  1. Good day everyone! Here is DSM8013, Fox Dial Wield Warrior. This 28mm pewter model was sculpted by Dave Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. I painted that one as a cunning grey fox and while painting it, I was greatly inspired by Boromir's garments colors.
  2. Hi everyone! Here is DSM7970, Fox Bard. This 28mm pewter model was sculpted by Dave Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. I painted stripes on its pants and added flowers on its lute. I hope you will enjoy, your comments are very welcome.
  3. Good Friday everyone! I'm keeping the pace, here's another Critter I completed yesterday. DSM7981, Robin Hood the Fox sculpted by Dave Summers. He was a lot of fun to paint and even made an extra effort and painted freehand patterns on its scabbard. This 28mm pewter model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals.
  4. Good day everyone! Here is DSM8012, Fox Female Rogue. This 28mm pewter model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. This foxy lady is the second in a serie of eleven Foxes I'll be painting. She's another stunning example of Dave Summers elaborated sculpting. I went with a dark night blue cloak, essential thiefling accessory to hide all her shiny ornaments when lurking. Comments are very welcome!
  5. Hi everyone! Here is my lastest work. Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals DSM8014, Fox Male Rogue. Dave Summers did a fantastic work on sculpting this guy, he's full of beautiful ornaments that were very stimulating to paint. After watching several fox pictures I came up with the black and white pattern on its face fur. Then, I decided to choose natural colors for its outfit, colors that reminded me of Robin Hood. I hope you will enjoy it!
  6. I painted this one in parallele with the Hamster Swashbuckler and completed it last weekend. So, one again from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals, Here is DSM8045, Hamster Bard with Harp. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. For the pants, I toned down 09226, Peacock Green with white. That unsuspected green turned out to be so vivid I will definitely use it again whenever I can. Also, purple is not a coulor I use so much, but I'm happy with the result. I used 09780, Royal Purple Triad and toned down the 09240, Royal Purple with white and Vallejo 70
  7. Continuing in the same vein, here is a Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. DSM8047, Hamster Swashbuckler. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. As always, comments and critiques are very welcome.
  8. Here is another Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. DSM8046, Hamster Cleric with Mace. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. As suggested by Robinh I chose classic colors. I went with blue rather than red because I already painted the Mage in red; Bluish chainmail, white tabard with golden freehand, linen colored pants, leather boots and dark metallic bracers and helmet. I hope you like it! As always, comments and critiques are very welcome.
  9. Here it is! Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals, DSM8036, Hamster Mage with Staff. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. This model was a little more challenging to paint. I'am very happy with the final result, I like how his red outfit and I'm glad I chose that color. I hope you like it too! Comments and critiques are very welcome.
  10. Hi everyone, I'm showing off something different this time. Here is a model from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals, DSM8035, Hamster Knight with Spear. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. I hope you'll enjoy it! C&C very welcome.
  11. Here is another model from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals, DSM8025, Hamster Thief. It was sculpted by Dave Summers. I hope you'll enjoy this one too! Again C&C very welcome.
  12. And here we are - after 36 hours of building time and another 18 hours of drying, the owl mage is finally done. Check here for the WIP Thread ->Let's Make a Present! Owl Mage<-
  13. Here we go again. If you don’t want to know what led to the whole “Let’s make a present”-stuff, feel free to scroll down to the first picture. I have to admit: I am not world’s best painter. To be honest – I am far away from that. I cannot remember color theory, keep forgetting important steps or read a tutorial just to throw it away ‘cause I cannot imagine how I should turn the advices into actual results. Life is hard … Anyway – it seems that persons in my proximity have caught attention of what I am trying to do and figure that it is actually *good* and from tim
  14. So I went in on a Kickstarter a while ago (I know, shocking, right?) that Dark Sword did for their Critter Kingdoms line of anthropomorphic figs. I was mostly in it for the bunnies, but it got three cats in with all the other goodness. I was thinking of painting something for my wife, and thought of doing up those cats styled after our cats (I'll need to order a 4th cat fig from Dark Sword at some point). Looked at the figures I had, and the Paladin definitely would have to get painted up as Marty. (I might as well, not continue, everything after cute cat pic will likely be ignore
  15. Posting this now while I think of it, but it could be a little bit before I get started; I was prepping a bunch of minis yesterday.... I noticed that Dark Sword had a few cats in their Critter Kingdoms KS (I was there for the bunnies....). Decided I would paint them up as our cats for my wife (shhhh, its a surprise). I have three figs so far, so will need to order another at some point, since we have four cats. But to start with, I'm going to paint Nom - Cat Paladin (DSM8079): as the fearless leader of our band of cats, Marty: Should be interesting trying to get both t
  16. It's hard to get a good picture of this guy, what with this protruding arms.
