  5. Hello All, Here is a 02476 Dark Heaven Legends. "Lorna, The Huntress Human Barbarian" miniature I completed today. There was a small problem with the molding on her face. The bottom lip and chin were nearly not there. Make do with what I get. Thank you for looking.

  9. Hello All, Here is a metal 02716 "Demonic Lasher" aka "Demogorgon" I completed a few weeks ago. This is a metal miniature and is a bit heavy. It would be nice to see an updated version of the Demonic Lasher miniature from Reaper. Though this one does look very much like the original Demogorgon illustration in the original D&D Monster Manual. Thank you for looking.
  10. Hello All, Here is a metal 04088 Erebus Nalas, Evil Sorcerer miniature I completed last week.
  11. A long time ago, I painted up a model of Barros & Tempest (DHL #3096). Unfortunately, this is now one of my missing minis. It is located somewhere in my parent's place, but where exactly, no one knows... All that I have left are these pictures from an old computer. But I really like this model, so I ordered a new one and painted it up with a different rider and a horse of a different colour. Their barding matches, just incase the original is ever found. Here is the missing Barros & Tempest. Please forgive the bad photography skills, I took these photos on a freezer with a piece of paper behind them in place of a real box. I used a pin and green attach Tempest (I'm assuming that is the name of the Pegasus) to the stand. It didn't hold up well, and it looks like they are coming in for a landing or to smite someone. And here is my new version of Barros & Tempest. This model is hard to photograph because there are so many cool sculpted features going all the way around the model. I love the movement of these sculptures. They work really well together.
  12. Hello everyone, here's the second 03146 Frogman sculpted by Jason Wiebe. Plus, some group pictures. 03146 and 02630 Frogmen
  13. Hey everyone! Here's the 02630, Frogmen Champion sculpted by Geoff Valley. These colorful Frogmen were a lot of fun to paint. Peace. ✌️
  14. Hey everyone, here's the second 02630, Frogman sculpted by Geoff Valley.
  15. I know I haven't posted in a while, but I still check in daily on the friendliest mini-painting forum on the web! Still lurking here while pursuing my obsession with OSL.
  16. Hello everyone, here are pictures of the biggest small dragon I ever painted. 03651 Storm Dragon Hatchling sculpted by Kevin Williams. This is the metal version of the model, it is mounted on a 74033, 40mm round base. The final highlight on the upper part of the wings is 09294 Alien Goo and 09408 Candlelight Yellow.
  17. I've had this model sitting on my painting table for awhile with the skin and metal done, but it took a long time to figure out what I wanted to do with her clothes. I decided on some muted purple, brown, and green, each mixing in Reaper's Polished Bone for the successive highlights to maintain the overall tone, with part of her clothing being Polished Bone itself.
  18. Hi everyone, Here's the Big "Slim" Boss of my Gnoll hunting party. 02704, Lord of the Gnolls was sculpted by Ben Siens. It's a tall metal model that stands 65mm / 2.5 inches at the top of its head. I painted it with Reaper's MSP acrylics.
  19. Here is a Vulture Demon that I have used my newest Iwata airbrush on. I am very pleased with how he came out. He is on a 50mm base and is made of metal from Reaper. I had to bent the wings into an interesting pose, but I like where this guy ended up. :)
  20. Hello girls and guys, the slower painter in the world is back Finally accomplished to paint this pompous guy, the Burgermeister. I've chose a colorful palette to reflect the opulence of the office, but also the lack of style (purple and turquoise? why man?!?!). Painting the gems frames was insane... really peps: don't do that! just paint the gems In the end I'm quite happy of him, hope you'll like him too: Every C&C is more than welcome, let me know what you would have done different or what you don't like :) Thanks
  21. Hello forum, wanna share with you all my last work, Aluminar Winterbeard. As always I've tried my best to make it as realistic as possible (for my skillz :P ). Well I'm pretty happy of him, maybe he lack some touch here and there, like the beard or the skull on the base, but in the end he looks ok to my eyes :) Hope you'll like him as well :) And, as always, every c&c is more than welcome! Thanks
  22. Hi everyone, here's 02603, Skrug the Bugbear Shaman. This model was sculpted by Ben Siens. It’s mounted on a 40mm round base and was painted with Reaper's MSP acrylics paint. After a major earthquake shook the mountain range of western Zenitonia, Skrug and his clan had no other choice then move. Their entire lair was destroyed in a dreadful collapse. Dozens of Bugbear died or were trapped under the unstable rubbles, survivors had to leave. Has Hruggek abandoned his fateful worshipers? For, after traveling by night and hiding in a valley of the Vermillion Hills, the horde had to stop by the Lynx River torrents. There, they were decimated by a group of adventurers passing by looking for Belladonna berries. Only two families managed to escape the slaughter crossing the river on a makeshift raft. Belladonna or Wolfsbane berries are very toxic, they are also an essential ingrediant to concoct the cure against lycanthropy. But this is another story.
  23. Hello, just want to show you my last work: Khalith, Mummy Lord. He was sitting on the desk quite long now, fully painted but lacking a base. The past days I've found the time to give him a well deserved sandy base ^_^. I was looking for him a dusty effect, some sort of ancient look, but still menacing. It came out a bit too cold, I think. Tried to balance adding some dry blood touch on the bandage and a dusty pink sash. I still find him "monochrome", don't know why, but it seems is lacking something. Enough talk, time to show you the pics. Let me know what do you think of him and if you have any advice please feel free to write it down! :) Sorry for the bad pic, I hope that are still readable. Thanks for watching.
  24. Hi all, as said I`m painting at a lot of miniatures at the moment, but they are all still wip and I only make very slowly progress so don`t expect me to post updates in my wip threads quickly. I have to work much, sometimes no time at all for painting and because I`m working at so many different projects each develope rather slow. Because you seemed to like especially my version of Astrid I decided to start with posting wip photos from my second version of Astrid. Long story short: The first and already finished Astrid (please check out my homepage for watching her, or visit my "I`m back" thread) was a gift for a friend. After she was finished I gave her away, but I also liked her haha. I decided that I simply can make someday a copy of her so that I have got one too for myself I started this copy before my break in painting and now I plan to finish her with time. One thing is different and that is the freehand of the back side of the guitar. This is because I`m a kinda wild thing and so this one becomes "Metal Astrid" LOL. My friend wished notes and so I painted notes at the first version of her. I would have preferred a skull, but my friend didn`t like the idea. But this version is for myself and now finaly the skull can be painted. Well, nothing is finished here. It is all wip. Explanation: I always start very rough and unclean all over the miniature. I do not finish part by part, I always paint everywhere same time. My paintjobs look all the time unfinished until they are really finished. I start at completely "messy" and with time my wips become cleaner, cleaner and you can see how I build up depth and the highlighting. So don`t worry if you see a wip from me at an early stage, I work this way intentionally. Feedback/help: Of course each kind of feedback is highly appreciated. Critique, praise, jokes, questions, tipps...I take it all Concerning painting I don`t need desperately help and advice although it seems that I do if you see my completely messy and unclean wips, but actually I know what I`m doing and mostly I have a determined plan concerning colourscheme, concept and so on. So don`t get cheated by the (partially) horrible look of my wips, it turns out smooth in the end and you see always just a temporary condition. But feel free to communicate your thoughts if you think something would look better in a different way or for the case that you have got cool ideas which matches well with my concept. Concerning bases I do desperately need help!!! Definitely. I`m sad with how my bases turn out. I wish to improve. I hope I can learn here to build up better bases. I also need help when it comes to build anything for example with plastic card (polystyrene) and such. I hope that you can help me with this issue and I`m more than glad about tipps and advice in this matter. Concept so far: - Colourscheme same like the first Astrid, but skull freehand. - I will take her off from the base she is standing on right now and I wish to make a cool base this time. - I would love to make a stage, but I have no idea how, LOL. - I plan to sculpt a "Marshall Amp" for her guitar - I play with the idea to add the skeletal band by Ral Partha as her band LOL. I`m not sure about this idea. - I plan to sculpt different things like beer cans, paper, zigarettes lying on the floor, maybe a microphone however. If you have got cool ideas in additon I would be glad to know. Please let me know what you think about the concept and feel free to make own suggestions because all is open now. Nothing is done. I`m just painting at the moment. Enough talking, here are the actual wip photos: Ooops I see my pictures are a bit blurry (or does the board compress the images). Next ones will be better at least if the board software allows. More angles of the miniature also follow later.
  25. I painted this mini a looonnnggg time ago. Recently I rebased it and went and touched it up, this is the result! Model is 02803: Brother Vincent
