and it's day one after the grand Kickstarter Bones 6 and time to pull my eyeballs away from the ever changing Kickstarter screen and back to my version of reality. So here's one more figure I've got, painted a couple years back, but once again, as it hadn't been released, never showed him off. Well, he's out and about in the public, so here he is a very small Dwarves Necromancer, sculpted by Dave Summers three or four years back: I really like how his face is half a skull and half a living dwarf. It I would have been thinking years back, I would have maybe painted a side of his beard a lot lighter, but oh well, not going to worry about it now. Anyhoos, enjoy!

Hello all you Reaperlased! So I painted these a few years back, but as they hadn't been released yet, I never posted them. These are four new figures from Ral Partha Legacy, Drunken Dwarves, that were just recently released. Fun figures sculpted by Dave Summers, pretty much in that same scale as the old Tom Meier Partha dwarves from the eighties were sculpted in. I'm always excited when Ral Partha Legacy releases new figures, whether they be re-releases of old Partha miniatures of days yore, or new releases of figures that were recently sculpted. Here they are all together: Great group of guys, always ready for an excuse to grab a mug of beer, perfect for tavern encounters!

Good afternoon my Reapergogglians! So just finished up Ann Penchyk, a Shadowrun character apparently (don't know too much about Shadowrun still, after months and months of painting different Shadowrun figures. I really dig this little blister pack, where we have Ann dressed in her corporate 9-5 job, and then the another version of her, the "adventurer" version of her. So with that in mind, I at least tried to keep her skin tones, hair color, et cetera the same so it looks like she just might be the same gal in different attire. 9-5 Ann: and how she spends her time Shadowrunning on the weekend: and here they are together, side by side: This is the first Shadowrun orc I've painted and from what I could tell with all the other artwork I've found on line, Shadowrun orcs can be any normal person's skin color, so even though I thought it was a bit strange, I painted her starting out with Tanned Highlights and worked up and down from there instead of doing some type of green base. So ta-ta for now, hope you enjoy!

It stands on a 50mm wide base and was produced by Reaper Miniatures under sku: 60030. It was entirely painted with Reaper MSP paint, with the same colors I used on the first one. I went for a simple skin tone; 29822 suntan flesh, 09659 ginger cookie and a bit of 29825 tusk ivory. Hello all you Reapervellians, So I had these figures sitting around and primed for probably about two or three years, and then while trying to start up another project, I ended up grabbing these. These are four new figures, sculpted by Dave Summers, famous for his Darksword anthropomorphic miniatures as well as decades of other finely sculpted figures, that he sculpted for Ral Partha's Chaos Wars game in 2016, associated with a Kickstarter if I recall correctly, and then a rather old figure, the female dwarf, who was sculpted by Dennis Mize back in I think 1977-1978. Nowadays of course, figures are a lot larger, but Dave Summers sculpted these four new dwarves to that old school 25 millimeter scale, which means they are pretty petite. If I remember afterwards I'll snap some kind of comparison photo with some common item. I always forget to do that for some reason. Anyhoos, here they are: and here's the lady dwarf. I separated her out because I actually have an older version that I did of her years ago as a gift for somebody, and wanted to show it as a comparison. Here's the one I just painted: and here she is probably already five or six years earlier: I had her on a much larger base in the original version. Anyhow, that's all for today folks, enjoy at your leisure!

Good evening all you Reaper hooligans! So another figure finished, this time a Ral Partha Shadowrun Female Detective, sculpted by Dave Summers, probably latter eighties to early nineties. Kind of difficult with the eyes because they were small little balls, but otherwise, pretty okay with how she turned out. Gun a little too blue, but probably won't ever fix that I'm guessing. I kind of like this figure because she's from their Shadowrun line, but she could easily be any normal, modern detective gal. I tried to do very a mild colored blouse, pinkish, with a grey skirt and jacket. This is also the first time I've worked on pantyhose, so let me know what you guys think. It was after painting her legs as normal skin color, I did some washes of first storm grey, then Dark elf skin shadow, and then finally black. Anyhow, let me know what y ou think about the pantyhose and hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone, here is DSM8078, Archer the Grumpy Cat Warlock. This two-piece model was sculpted by David Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms Anthropomorphic Animals line. I really enjoyed painting this beautiful model full of intricate details. I opted for nmm and added a light osl mainly on top of its head. I mainly used Reaper's MSP HD acrylic paint.

Hi everyone, here is the first model I painted this year. It's DSM8116, Sphynx Cat Druid with Staff from model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. This three-piece model was sculpted by Dave Summers. I've assembled the ram skull on top of the staff and the staff itself before painting the model. 2018 have been an amazing painting year for me, with a little more than 100 models painted. Hi everyone, this is my latest Critter. This model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. Here is DSM7969, Black Cat Avenging Thief. This multi-piece model was sculpted by Dave Summers. I was inspired by the colors of the samurai to paint his clothes and armor. The left and right arm, the extremities of the headband and scarf and the scabbard were all glued to the model before painting. The cloak was painted separately before the final assembling. Here is DSM7971, Ali Sparrow the Female Cat Pirate. This two-piece model was sculpted by Dave Summers. I've assembled the chest lid before painting the model. However, I think it was not the right strategy. It was hard to reach some spots and paint some part of the loot. I hope you will like it.

Good day everyone, here is a Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals I painted this week. This Pretty Princess DSM8017, Victorian Female Cat is a two-piece model that was sculpted by Dave Summers. She looks a little anxious, I think she may be waiting for a late train. It was a challenge to paint all the folds and lace, I'm very pleased about its final look. I also took pictures on how to paint cats eyes in six easy steps. Is it layering or wet blending? I don't even know… Anyhow, here is how I paint cat eyes. I use Reaper Miniatures MSP paint. 1. I paint the surrounding of the eyes in black or dark brown then paint the eye balls in beige. Beige is a color that covers black easily and it helps to get a brighter iris color. 2. The base color is a blend of 09226 peacock green and 09031 tanned leather. 3. I add more 09031 tanned leather to the blend and build up a paler focal point at the center of the eyes. 4. I add 09008 sun yellow in the blend to highlight the eye balls. 5. I use 09037 pure black to paint the vertical pupils typical to the cats. 6. And, I finally add 09039 pure white dots to act as reflections of ambient light.

Hi all, so I painted this one for a friend who is going to be retiring next week, sculpted by the incredible Dave Summers. As always, so hard to decide upon colors, especially when you don't have a theme in mind, just to paint for a friend. The incredible painting done on the Dark Sword page (painted by Marike Reimer) I didn't want to copy, even though I kind of accidentally gave this lady a similar fur color. I tried to also stay away from the studio model version's brass/gold metal, and did metal, which for me is so hard to make look decent, so hopefully at least partially succeeded. There's also a few odd mold lines that I ended up painting into something. The button on her hat I think was some kind of odd casting, and that long pin as well, but I didn't scrape them exactly as well as I should have so had to make them into something. and I hope the red came out okay, I'm not sure if it went exactly as deep as I wanted it to go, or quite frankly as highlighted. Oh well, she's sealed and finished too late to worry about that now. Upon hindsight I should have made her goggle lenses another color, maybe green, instead of blue as they don't seem to differentiate themselves as much as they should from the metal. Oh well, maybe on the next guinea pig.... . and as a side note, her rifle kind of reminds me of a super soaker! So anyhoos, enjoy!

Hi everyone, it's been some time. I recently completed the individual base for the Fox Critters I painted lately. I stuck a magnet under each model and in each base socket. This way, each model and base are interchangeable. I will now build a large diorama base on which there will also be magnet encrusted socket to hold and display all the models together. As suggested by @Boaz , I used flat magnetic tape, it was easy to cut to the shape and size I needed. I used Reaper's 40mm round base and filled them with green stuff that I carved like grass. I then added natural stones and painted birch tree seeds shell and dry roots for the trees and dead gnarled branches. These 28mm pewter models were all sculpted by Dave Summers for Dark Sword Miniatures.
