This is Hasslefree HFD104 Drya Lafhelgasdottir, sculpted by Tre Manor, and not, as I identified all through the WIP thread, a Red Box Games dwarf. I think I was confused because she was by Tre Manor. She is also the last, the seventh, of the dwarves I painted for the project "Jade Green and Seven Dwarfs," an effort both to get some dwarves painted up for general gaming use, and to make a group of Jadeborn for a game of Exalted. This is a photo of all the proje

I have had some VMA Signal Red (metallic) gathering dust for quite a while, so this morning I decided to try it out. Three hours later (including finding and shaking the paint) I have a complete test subject. I think that given the time to really work with it a person could do a decent TMM red with it. As is, I have a tabletop ready dwarf.

The first painted mini of the year! I really love this sculpt. My favorite part by far is the comb over :D I did a poor job of cleaning the miniature before priming and starting to paint it (like always), so there's a bit of grain on the axe and other irregularities. But nothing to harmful.

Presenting a Dwarf Engineer from Stonehaven, having recently backed their second Dwarf kickstarter, I thought I'd better finish what I got from their first many moons ago. This one is a bit rough around the edges, I didn't put much effort into prepping my minis in ye olden days, plus he's been partially painted and stripped at least a couple of times by this point, but I think he turned out okay. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

Here another one , just finishing base for those guys now , so couple more to post ;)

If my memory is working properly, I think this guy came out a blister pack marked Ral Partha Imports, so he may have originally been a citadel sculpt. In any case, he's older than at least some of you reading this. His paint got pretty badly dinged up in a move, so i decided to fix him up. Which led to a complete repaint. I hope you like him.

I've only worked with resin a couple of times, and it's always a struggle to find a primer that will stick to it. I hope this guy holds up! Base is from secret weapon miniatures.

Here are the pictures of the Grudge all finished. While there were times that I hated how things looked, in the end I am extremely happy with how he turned out. WIP: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/81903-the-grudge-30014/

I bought this fig a long time ago, with a ton of ideas and options for what to do with him. Although I'm definitely on Team Cap, I decided to go with an Iron Man look. I was really happy with how he turned out, especially the sword and faceplate. I'm considering going back and adding a little bit more gold in a few spots, especially in the back area, but for now I'm satisfied. Critiques and advice are always welcome! Thanks in advance!

This is the Dwarven Brewmeister set painted by @Clearman for the Summer Exchange. I love them so much and am going to make special NPCs for them in my D&D game. Such clean paint jobs and my favorite colors are there (purple and green!)

Used my extra hour from Daylight Savings Time on Sunday to paint this awesome dwarf. I think I painted her dress 3 different times before I got to the yellow and green combo, and am really happy with how it turned out. I had a rough time with her face though. Her mouth and cheeks seem to indicate shouting orders, but I couldn't get her eyes to express that kind of command. I went over it so many times that I felt like I was losing details, so I just stopped at a point that looked "good enough". I still really like her overall, and had a lot of fun painting her. Critiques and advice are a

So I realized I only had one painted dwarf (!) when one of my GMs asked me if I had anything for the Jadeborn, a race in Exalted that is roughly equivalent to dwarves except for the 0.001% who are roughly equivalent to elves. And they are also sort of stone golems. Based on jade. I thought Reaper's 60184: Meyanda, Android Priestess, sculpted by Bobby Jackson, would do well for one of the elfy artisan Jadeborn and I pulled out a random assortment of seven (because of course) dwarves for the worker and warrior Jadeborn. All paints used are Golden Matte Fluid Acrylics. Col

This is Reaper's own 14143: Kara Foehunter, Dwarf Hero, sculpted by the inimitable Werner "Buckles" Klocke. She was a part of my long-term project, "Jade Green and Seven Dwarfs" (link to WIP thread), both to paint up some dwarfs, which I had not yet done, and to produce some Jadeborn for an Exalted game I'm in. (She's a lovely figure, but I feel she may be just a bit outsized for the scale. Her head especially looks large when she's on the table with other figures. I feel like maybe she should have been 25% - 30% smaller. But she is a terrific figure.)

Presenting Brokk Grungsson, an important character in the Kharadron Overlords (steampunk, sky pirate dwarfs) faction in the game Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Had this one in the Cupboard of Unfinished Thingstm for a while, and I'm glad it's finally done. Bit disappointed with the base though. I wanted to give him a reason for wearing his blimp-suit, so I have him flying over a large pool lava, but I don't think it really works, it needs more texture or some rocks to break up all the yellow or something. As always any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

14465: Durin Dwarf Pathfinder Sgt sculpted by Tom Mason. I never would have tried this blue and bronze colour scheme of my own choice, but one of the players in my D&D game requested it, and now I like it.

This is Hasslefree's HFD014: Hatherly, a dwarf which I painted up as a part of the project "Jade Green and Seven Dwarfs," partial WIP to be found here. He has a very "Astérix the Gaul" feel to him. His face is almost all nose and moustache. He was another experiment in trying to paint with subdued, realistic colors.

This is the sweet little SS06, Dwarf Fighter from Oathworn's Sensible Shoes line, sculpted by Michael Lovejoy. I painted her up as a part of a project I called "Jade Green and Seven Dwarfs," the WIP thread of which, though incomplete, is here.

I have 13 dwarves from bones 3. I decided that I should paint them as a clan. then the Colorado painters (CMPA) did a three color challenge. I rolled golden yellow, winter blue and leather brown. after I painted the first one (Hagar with 2 axes) I thought why not stick with it? thus the golddigger clan was born. after the first, I used other colors but stayed with the theme. 13 is an unlucky number, I should probably add a halfling burglar. 77482 Hagar, twin axes 77482 dwarf brewer 77479: Klaus Copperthumb

This was a super fun fig to paint! I'm not really happy with the eyes, and I think I might go back and add a black eye or a bruise at some point. I think that would add some character, as well as cover up the mediocre job. Otherwise, I am really happy with the rest of him. Comments and critiques are welcome as always, thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I'm back with a second mini to show off. My dad recently decided to join the campaign that I DM for my college friends, (he has never played a tabletop game before), and he decided to play a Duergar Death Cleric. My LGS still had a few of the 25th Anniversary Dain Deepaxes, and it's the perfect mini for him. Had a little trouble pinning the arms, but very happy overall. Anyway, say hello to Ulfgar Fireforge, Cleric of Laduguer!

I got a ton of painting in this weekend, and was most happy with this little dwarven lady. She was a lot of fun to paint, and had lots of cool little details on her. I might go back and do something extra to her ax some day, but for now I'm happy with how she turned out. Comments and critiques are welcome! Thanks in advance!
