This is a Games workshop Mumak miniature that I bought used here awhile back. It was missing a lot of parts so I did some custom work. Here is the work in progress thread. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/90512-mumakil-rebuild/ I interned to get some archers to ride in it in the future but these Uruk will work for the pictures. Some 28mm horsemen to help give a sense of size. This is now probably my largest miniature, barely. Thanks for looking!

Babar, Lord of the Jungle, ready to both smash and stun tespassers with his golden magnificence. 28mm scale resin miniature. Gold & green palette. My biggest issue: not jungly enough. I need more stuff to make plants and credible grass :s

2nd attempt at creating a steam-punk elephant-women mad-scientist, representing a PC in a game I am running. Since such a model does not exist I made one. It consists of the following parts: The base model I had printed through HeroForge I pinched the cables and coils from a warmachines model I found on ebay. Finished it off with some lightning I had laying around from the previous attempt (I think it was creating action figure dioramas, but I have thrown out the packaging long ago). Nothing on the model is Reaper, but I painted it with Reaper Paints. I had a lot of fun trying out all kinds of configurations with poster tack until settling on this combination for the rigging. The only thing it is missing is her faction symbol on the shield, but I wasn't sure how to make a stencil small enough. If any has any technique for adding coat of arms to a models, outside of trying to free hand it, I would to hear it. Here are a few pictures. The other model is for scale, and is just what I had handy.

I am running a D&D game with my friends using the new Ravnica setting. The world has a very unique look, and one of the player characters in our group is an steampunk/elephant-man/mad-scientist. I couldn't find any miniatures remotely resembling that, so I made my own out of a reaper Avatar of Strength and some warmachines loose pieces I got on ebay for cheap. I have never done any kitbashing or sculpting before (just made it up as I went along) but I feel it turned out pretty cool (even though I am pretty lousy painter). Couldn't wait to show it off a little here, even though the lighting is really bad in here at night for pictures. Painted with all the cheap Reaper HD I picked-up during the sale. Question, comments, feed-back appreciated.

Hi guys, and Happy New Year! I haven't posted in a bit, gonna try to be better about that. Anywho, here's my latest finish, the Elephant Avatar from the Bones 3 Kickstarter. I started this guy in probably October last year, but kind of lost my mojo on him, and he sat on my shelf of shame for quite awhile. This year, I decided to clear out the shelf of shame, so I finished him up. I'm pretty pleased with him. Let me know what you think! ~Magenta

The bestiary entry for Erithereans in "Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago" convinced me to finally paint a special edition Reaper miniature I had been waiting on for way too long. I can't believe it's been 12 years...and that every elephant miniature Reaper put out is currently Out of Print (I know the Bones Elephant God should be hitting retail soon, and he is very nice.) One day I may find a copy of the P-65 Elephant Man, Pachylox. He's one of the sad few who never came over to Bones. Here's Harapan!

Also known was "Wait, hippos really are purple?" These guys are some of my favorites from Bones III. Sadly, the "Isle of Dread" style game I was running ended long before these arrived, but I was recently reading "Elephantmen", which was a good inspiration to get these done. King Hippo. His skin was already done when, during a paint jam, a buddy pointed out, Hippos are not pure grey. I had to greenstuff back in his necklace, and carve out a nostril that wasn't cast properly. I only noticed mid-paint. And of course the zoom shows the mold lines I thought I got... Obadiah Horn. The simplest one, but I like his stance. Ebony Hide, the Elephant. I went with the obvious Zulu theme for him. I couldn't figure out if his club was meant to be a bone or a wooden knobkerrie, but I went with wood.

So, this is actually kind of a terrain challenge for Dakka forums, but anyway I decided to do Discworld! so of course my first stop was Reaper's site, but alas I can find no minis that would work. So, can anyone suggest a Bones something I could convert maybe? or should I simply look elsewhere? I'm thinking kind of like... toys. But I hate that they're not necessarily that realistic. Anyway thanks for any help :D

I'm hooked on WarmaHordes, and picked Skorne as my faction. I spent way too long painting these, wanting to do my best. Ironically, I think that stress led to worse paint jobs! Anyway, here they are varnished and all. Master Tormentor Morghul. Pretty fun to paint (and play). Before he gets knocked down and killed that is The big guy is a Titan, really a trunk-less elephant with two extra arms. They hit pretty hard, and run sort of slow. Before we start whipping them. Or rushing them, Or all of it! Mahaha! Cyclopses! Pretty clever for warbeasts. Up close of the bases. Green stuff, Happy Seppuku stamps and stones. These are the most differently painted ones, I think I'l go with a look closer to the left one for the rest of the army. Comment, critique, feedback or anything else aprecciated.
