  1. Venomous Flowers by PrintYourMonsters. These are 3d resin prints. Of course, they might also be only harmless spring flowers on some sci-fi world. The smallest one is a bit over 1" across, the largest is taller than a humanoid figure. Overall I've been very happy with the Plants and Rocks files.
  2. Taking a hiatus on the Mocking Beast. Trying to gain some victory in numbers on my Bonesium Horde. I have completed the beetle swarms, spider swarms, and skeletons without WIP. I’m going to do the goblins now. I plan two batches: one yellow/ochre, and the other tangerine. Some nice “non-Greenskins.” Several of these required boiling. Some are still leaning. The spears are straighter. One of these was the beneficiary of a weapon swap. I had given Danar, Male Assassin 77030 his shield for a spiked shield. In return, we have a dual wielding goblin!
  3. The finished version of the mini WiP I was sharing earlier today. I tried to use washes and played with basing this time around. Any suggestions would be great as I don't feel as proud for this one as I did the Dark Chronicler Astrid I did back on May.
  4. This one is next in line. He needs a better base. This is a standard Reaper 1 inch base. And a sheet of embossed styrene cobblestone, for model railroading. I superglued it on, trimmed around it with an X-Acto, then sanded it down to 800 grit. Any gap left is going to get the Brush On Sealer treatment to deal with the seam. After this I just superglued the Mocking Beast on. No pin.
  5. "Starting with the latest expansion to the GURPS Action series (see Warehouse 23), your pledge of $3 secures you a PDF copy of GURPS Action 8 - Twists. This 10-page PDF, written by Sean Punch, aims to shake things up. " https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/warehouse23/steve-jackson-games-gurps-2021-pdf-challenge? 10 PDFs for as little as $3 seems like a deal.
  6. Here is my BONES version of the Eye Beast. This is my project going model-by-model down the Bones I Kickstarter rewards images through all my models, and logging them as WIP. And bringing along any pewter versions I have for the ride. WIP Here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/95874-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-13-eye-beast/ These guys are very rewarding and great practice for eyes. I coated the eyes and mouth with brush on gloss varnish to give it that live, wet, salivating look. Enjoy. C/C Welcome.

  8. I started this to be the BBEG for Dragon's Demand. I really enjoyed painting it. This is my first full dragon miniature painted. I spent a lot of time on it, and I'm pleased with the outcome. I hope you like it. This was my first time using Birch seed pod debris as leaves, and I think they look good. Here is the link to the WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/92764-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-11-shadow-dragon/&tab=comments#comment-1965291 C&C welcome.
  9. Since the Eye Beasts are making good progress, getting the next model ready. A suitable Player Character model. Turanil, Male Elf Paladin. The plan is white and red. I’m hoping the peacock comes across as a Phoenix.
  10. I believe these are inspired by Terry Pratchet's Discworld Guards, although I'm biased towards Paul Kidby's art. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/blackstone/guards-guard?ref=discovery&term=sally 4th
  11. The latest MODULAR DIGITAL BATTLEMAP expansion seeks to take the Meanderverse back in time and underwater to the glory days of this technological legend some say was a paradise - others a ferocious war machine. Dock at the Port, stroll through the Atlantean Water Gardens and explore the alien wonder of this mystical city on dry land - and then again after a cataclysm sinks it beneath the waves. Preview the campaign HERE. Launches July 21st on Kickstarter. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gametilewarehouse/meanders-5-rpg-modular-digital-battlemaps-atlantis
  12. Ok. Prepping for the next Bones I WIP. The Eyes Have It! I have this in metal too, so I’m planning to do both together. You can see I did some surgery on the metal one. Lots of hole drilling after cleaning mold lines.
  13. Hi! Thats my first time at these forum. First i want to apologize for my bad english. And now... Here they are! The goblin bombs from Mad Dragon, three miniatures i found in a friend's garage long time ago. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did when painting them.
  14. Hey its buc. I have run games of Rangers of Shadowdeep at Reapercon and the Reaper online conventions. Is there enough interest for me to run Rangers of Shadowdeep at Reapercon in person this year? Would it be better to put my effort into Stargrave and or Frostgrave? buckyball
  15. Fireforge makes some great figures. Here is their latest KS. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/fireforgegames/stone-realm-hard-plastic-multi-part-dwarves-in-28mm-scale/description
  16. Hello people! i would like to share with you an upcoming Kickstarter campaign that will start on April 20 and last until May 10. As add-ons, at 75% off (compared to webstore prices), there will be sets of models (from previous releases in the patreon) and scenery. The base pledge: There will be some freebies stretch goals, and other payed, Like ogres mercenaries(x3), Giant, volley gun, heavy arquebusier/sharpshooter, and moarrr!
  17. Here was my entry for the 16th quarterly Reaper Facebook Contest. I was honored to receive an honorable mention. There were dozens of fantastic entries. I wanted to try a white dragon coloration. I have Deathsleet in my queue, so this is a test run. His scales are Dragon White. The ventral surfaces are more of a bone color with Creamy Ivory and Linen White, with Sepia Wash. His dagger is a green NMM. His eyes are gem-like, not lizard pupils. The skirt completes the “triangle of interest” green color. I rebased him on a Micro Arts 30mm Sewer base. I had a lot of fun with this one. I wanted to keep him as a rogue, so I chose a dagger and loot bag from his hand choices. I also painted his armor as leather with some gold NMM. Enjoy.
  18. Here comes another one from EC3D, aimed for easy to print, supportless, hordes of lower CR traditional monsters and encounters: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ecaroth/beast-and-baddies-3d-printable-tabletop-models?ref=user_menu Welcome to "Beasts and Baddies" from EC3D, your one-stop shop for the fastest, easiest to print, and highly-reusable tabletop fantasy mini STLS! This campaign was designed with a few goals in mind: #1 - Give DMs and gamers a beautiful set of minis to cover the bases for MANY common beasts and baddies they might encounter across most games (particularly low-to-medium level ones) #2 - Make those minis DEAD SIMPLE to print - no supports required on resin or FDM printers. #3 - Design those minis so they can be painted fast, but detailed enough to paint to a high quality if you wish. #4 - Make those minis resilient - aka less prone to breakage with small pieces, easy to travel with, survive drops on the floor, etc Thus this campaign was born! Many Patreons and Kickstarters have crazy good looking sculpts of various huge bosses, or overly fragile dynamically posed monsters - but nobody is designing minis for the working DM, who wants to throw a set of monsters on the printer before work, come home and they are sitting there finished (with no print errors), slap some paint on them quick, and use them in tonight's session. This Kickstarter is designed for every DM - regardless of what kind of fantasy game you run, what kind of printer you have, or what kind of models you are looking to fill out your ranks with, this campaign will have something for you. We have sets of all your basic monsters (orcs, goblins, gnolls, kobolds, undead, etc) plus MANY stretch goals planned out, with a backer voting to help add even more stuff to the pledge. These minis are designed for your standard fantasy game, and are scaled ~32mm with somewhat heroic proportions. They'll look great next to your existing 3D printable figs, HeroForge, Reaper Bones, etc. Minis are designed to print with zero slicer supports - just drop it on your build plate and print away. Each mini is provided unbased, based on a simple flat base (for you to decorate to your own liking), and also based on a "quick release" bevelled and channeled base (for resin printing, which makes removal from the build plate easy). In addition to carefully modeling designs to be support free, we have another advantage: I am a software engineer by trade, and developed an algorithm to help check and remove overhangs in the modeling/repair process, which leads to even easier to print minis! This campaign is easy to understand. There is one pledge level, and it gets you everything pictured on this page! All the minis below are included with your pledge. These minis will be delivered to you as STL files, with all the base options noted above. I've also release a ton of BASES , and am working on another free base pack for this campaign you can use to base these minis if you want more decorative bases. As new stretch goals are unlocked, I'll add them to the list of included minis below. There's 31 minis in the core pack, and I'm expecting to have nearly 100 minis in this campaign when all is said and done! ** PLEASE NOTE - This Kickstarter is for digital files (STLs) to make all these items on your own home 3D printer - these are not physical goods **
  19. SO.... Due to Brain Weasels and other Real Life Issues, I haven't been doing much, really almost no, fantasy painting... One of the things I have been doing is looking at old WIPs, and suddenly the desire to paint a DRAGON, came over me.... So here is the start of my new work on Cinder, #10014, in METAL... Hopefully, I can keep up the sudden burst of enthusiasm.... So planning on mold line hunting, and trying to decide what color to paint this dragon... As I am old school, the webbing between the back spines is leading me to green, but need to check the books to see which way to go.... About time you returned from the place I couldn't reach you minion...... OMG, please not again.... any and all comments gratefully ignored.... Knarthex
  20. Here is the big boss of the Bones I Orc Warband. With all of these Orcs they are shadowed with a purple color. I added some green freckles/sun spots for a little interest. For his shield trophies, I included some skin tones and hair colors that could represent elf, dwarf, human, goblin and undead. The wood planks and boards on the shield are freehand. Kavorgh got a little extra love with the bloodstain on the axe. WIP here: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ And the group shot. Enjoy.
  21. Here is another of the Orc Warband from Bones I. He had a very bent sword, so I swapped it with one from the Bones III weapon sprue. WIP Here. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ And the group shot. Enjoy.
  22. Here is another of the Orc Warband from Bones I. WIP Here. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ And the group shot. Enjoy.
  23. Here is another of the Orc Warband from Bones I. WIP link here. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ Here is the group shot. Enjoy.
  24. Here is another of the orc warband from Bones I. His spear was too floppy, so his spear tip is a weapon swap from the weapon sprue from Bones III. WIP link: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ And the group shot. Enjoy.
  25. This is one of the warband of Orcs from Bones I. I though all of these had a lot of character. I painted them up as light grey-green based on some of the Dungeon Dwellers paint sets. The wood grain inside the shield is freehand. Here is the WIP for the whole group. https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/93235-darcstaar-vs-bones-i-ep-12-orcpocalypse/ If I had it to do over again I’d change the fur colors, because they blend in with the chainmail. Here are the group shots. Enjoy.
