    Foxtrot by Hasslefree Miniatures

Foxtrot was fun to paint. She comes with two bodies, two heads and two sets of weapons so it's possible to make her up as a crazy-haired gasmask-wearing nutter or Hasslefree's version of Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road. As you can see, I decided on the crazy-haired gasmask-wearing nutter. Her right hand is separate, so fun and games ensued trying to get it glued to her wrist. I didn't dare attempt to drill/pin it as there was barely enough space for the drill bit and I had visions of wrecking the metal. The stock of her AK was on the verge of falling off, so I just did away with it. Her base is the usual Liquitex modelling paste, sand and paint.
  2. It took me ages to choose a colour scheme for the Valkeeri Leader. I eventually decided on Army Painter Shining Silver to go with the whole pulp scifi theme, and VGC Warlock Purple because why not. I was worried the silver bits of her uniform would look like armour instead of metallic cloth but I think it's turned out OK. For once I managed to get her eyes to a decent standard and her hair came out looking good too. Her gun is VMC Brass, toned down with VGC Sepia Wash and Liquitex matte varnish. Her lips are a tiny dab of VMC Brown Rose. I forgot about her cape until I was finished with her, so it got a few thin coats of Warlock Purple and then began the fun and games of gluing it to the figure. Four attempts later I got it in what I hope is the right position and touched up the purple.

    Devil Girl

I painted Devil Girl's clothing in Vallejo Black and thought, "God, that's boring". So I added 1/3 Vallejo Dark Prussian Blue to the black and redid her coat. Adding the blue makes the black much richer, and I washed the black over with Army Painter Blue Tone. Her skin was done with Vallejo Flat Red, Red and Vermillion. Her hair is black and drybrushed with Vallejo Royal Purple. The lava is Liquitex Modelling Paste and the slabs are just plasticard. Her eyes took FOREVER to get right, which was frustrating as hell as they're just yellow with a thin black line. The paint scheme and base are shamelessly ripped off this one by @TheOldGuard, although he/she can do OSL and I can't (and wasn't even going to attempt it).
  4. I would like to try airbrushing different sets of skin tones onto multiple copies (5+) of the same female figure as practice and as a reference for other models. Anyone recommend a Bones fig that is large enough to have quite a bit of exposed skin, but cheap enough that lots of copies wouldn't set me back too much. Yaphima (sure I spelled it wrong) the Frost giant comes to mind first, but looking for other options

    Candy

Not as happy with Candy as I was with Sugar, but she was fun to paint. She does have pupils in her eyes, honest. I've just noticed a strip of white on the top of her left thigh. Great.

77135 Mariel Twinspear. Officer on one of the Pirateships of the fleet of Bloody Bess. WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/&page=150

    Sugar

This is my third(!) attempt to paint Sugar. She almost ended up back in a bowl of Simple Green but this time I persevered. Her eyes aren't perfect but I'm happy with the way she came out — although not 100% sure about her hair — and I'm getting better at painting white. The sad-looking teddy is from the City Scenics Back Alley Accessories set by TTCombat.

    Ladies of Death by Glitterwolf

One of my favorite Fantasy races are the Undead. This thread will be dedicated to all the beautiful female vampires/necromancers/ghosts and apparitions. I will also include all my Sophie minis.. Here are the girls I have painted before to show what this is all about, soon more Undead / Evil Sisters will follow. EDIT - Changed the Name of the thread from the Alluring Death to Ladies of Death since not all are actually Undead.

Dr. Helen Matronic - Field Medic

Presenting Dr. Helen Matronic, the Field Medic for my Starstrider team of space adventurers. She's trying to escape her demons (both literal and metaphorical) by exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy. Overall I'm fairly pleased with how she turned out, even if she is a little rough in places (her tunic trim was a bit of a nightmare to paint). As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.

    03810:- Bregan the Valkyrie

Presenting Bregan, a rather happy looking Valkyrie. A bit of an odd sculpt this one, but lots of fun to paint. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  12. Here is the next figure on the list. Callie. I think it’s funny that episode 1 was Cassie, and right next to her is a figure with almost the same name. She had had a weird straight warp to the lower part of her bow. I boiled that out. It has stayed in the corrected position for a month now. This is after Brown Liner. It looks like an arrow coming out of the quiver, but strange it has no fletching....From the front, maybe a finger?

    Ziba, Monster Lady WIP

This pretty lady jumped straight to the front of my painting queue, and it was about time I painted another Reaper mini:- Here she is, all cleaned up and undercoated in primer. Got a little further today:- Not going down the red skin route, so Ziba is currently covered in a basecoat of 1:2 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin with a Flesh Wash. Aiming to get her skin finished tonight.
  14. So I painted her as my player character in an upcoming game, the tricky thing was that she had some pretty bad burn scars. I tried to paint a burn scar on her shoulder holding the wand, I am not sure how well it came out. As always let me know what you all think of her. I feel I should also apologize for the photo quality, I am trying to get something set up for decent pictures.

Had a lot of fun painting this.

    03623: Finaela, Female Pirate

I've finally found time and finished painting this one. It's a great model and I enjoyed painting it. It will be used as a pc (half-elf swashbuckler) by my sister in our current dnd campaign. :D
  17. Converted Gregor the Wizard, who is a druid type character, well wrapped up with a bird as a familiar. I thought the model would look good as a female character and the way the coat bunches up means that a conversion looks OK, in my view. I just cut off the head with a razor saw and swapped it with a reaper bones head for Drys the Dryad. I just stuck it straight onto a blob of green stuff. I didn't need to do much texturing because the beard on the original male model just looks like a scarf following the sawing. The mittened hand holding the bird just got accidentally bent back while I was sawing the head off (is this forum externally monitored?). It wasn't an intentional part of converting. Then a pretty simple paint job, have done the washes in these pics and need to do some basic highlighting and a winter effect on the base.

    Secret Sister by DGS

Quick paint job on this one so I could use it in our current rpg as a time and dimension travelling psionic character. It is by DGS Games, from their Eclipse Sisterhood KS. It's technically a fantasy mini, but could be used in any genre that you'd find swords. Might even be able to paint it as some kind of energy blade. Sorry for the fuzzy image. Think I may have dropped my camera one too many times. :(
  19. Enjoy another rendition of 01608: Reaper 25th Anniversary - Diva the Blessed. Part of the Autumn palette series with NMM, Texture, and Effects. I know it's a great sculpt when I want to paint it again. Enjoy!

    77100: Vanja, Fire Giant Queen

Oh that Werner, he's done it again! Let me introduce you to Vanja, the Fire Giant Queen - original size. She's a great size for an Ogre and as a Player Character. Bones once again! Great level of detail allows so much to be done to bring life to the face. Her armor reminds me of my SCA rig. Autumn hue, same palette as the Huge variation posted earlier. Underpainting/sketching used before paint. Plus! Pushed contrast. (Something a little bird taught me.) Gonna paint another. Enjoy.
  22. For your viewing pleasure is Vanja, the Fire Giant Queen - without that hot, itchy cloak. The spot for her cloak was filled in and sculpted with Green Stuff to match her muscular anatomy. Bones, Basil! Bones! I am continually impressed with the Bones medium. High detail, resilient, and inexpensive. She is going into my Orcs and Goblins Oldhammer Army. Enjoy.
  23. So this is a weird one. I know exactly where I got this figure. It's a Hasslefree sci-fi miniature female space dwarf sort of, I dunno, mercenary or something. ... I'm pretty sure. It's possible I am misremembering. Unfortunately, I've mislaid the packaging and Hasslefree has a tendency to remove temporarily out-of-stock figures from its catalogue and this one currently is not in it. Does anyone know her SKU and name? (She's the one on the right. The one on the left I already know is Hasslefree's "HFG405 Pilot Hayden," another space dwarf.

    50293: Bonnie, Muumuu Zombie

I finally got around to taking photo's of MuuMuu. I got her orgianlly as a possible bonus figure for modern Zombicide. Never got around to painting her before getting sucked into black plague. So I decided to finisher up. Here is MuuMuu: Thanks for any looking and any C&C you feel like giving.
  25. Here is the female assassin from the Grenadier Action Art set “Monsters”. I don’t really think of female assassins as monsters, except in the metaphorical sense. I would have been a little disappointed if a box labeled “Monsters” had had a bunch of people. But anyway... Her face is a bit rough; the sculpting makes her look old, but her short dress seems to imply a young woman. But maybe it’s just a long shirt?
