  1. Presenting Tzandi, a member of Monkey's Troupe from the game Twisted by Demented Games. Been painting this one on and off for a while, as I could only work on her teeny tiny details in small bursts (She essentially feels like a much larger scale mini that's been shrunk down). I think taking my time paid off as I'm pretty pleased with the results. This also means I've actually finished a set of something for a change (At least until Long Ma the dragon comes out):- The full Monkey's Troupe. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  2. Presenting The Bride of Nurgle, the leader of the Nurgle warband in the game Warhammer:- Underworlds by Games Workshop. I don't usually post my Underworlds stuff here, but I felt this one deserved it. Annoyingly, I did a really good job painting her face but you can't see most of it once her fringe is attached. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  3. Female Oni Grunt from Artisan Guild. I printed it on the Elegoo Mars Part of my Project: Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon WIP https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/
  4. Another print from Artisan Guild. Aline the Bold. I printed her, created a base for her using the Greenstuffworld Small Cobblestone one and a twig from the Garden Centre. She will also get a bow on her back. Primed..
  5. A trio of figures from two different companies. In red is a rogue from Perfect Six miniatures, overlooking the training of two Little Wolves (Amazon girls) from Bad Squiddo games.
  6. Unknown female vampire figure I picked up in a boxed game set. Can't remember the exact name or manufacturer. Box art showed them in purple, I wanted to explore other colors. I see her as the kind of vampire that likes to play with her food and enjoys a bit of lively sport. I have 2 of her sisters to do in other colors. The photo is a bit washed out from the flash. Her skin is a pale grey, different than her white gloves. Casting on the face is strange, she has an odd shaped mouth, and no nose so I painted one on.
  7. Painted this lovely lady during a local mini-con and painting event early this year (pre-covid). I tried for different colors of skin on her various parts, and a slinky satin fabric for her dress. She is checking out a new crypt I did as part of the "craft paint" challenge this spring.
  8. This is Yuki Onna. One of my first 3D printed models. I kept the colourscheme simple. She's a ghost for my Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon, Project. WIP HERE: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/79416-nippon-land-of-the-rising-moon-by-glitterwolf/page/14/#comments She got a base from the Artisan Guild Oni set. I painted her eyes red, not sure if it's visible.
  9. Printed this Amazon Fighter from Artisan Guild. You can get her as a free sample from Yeggie.. She's part of my Lost World Project. WIP: https://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/69308-lost-world-project-glitterwolf-paints-coldblooded-creatures-and-conquistadores/page/163/#comments
  10. It's been a while since I've painted a Reaper miniature, so I thought I would post my latest creation here. I had a lot of fun painting this mini - blue is one of my favorite colors to blend with, and I enjoy painting fun hair, like her braid in the back. TMM was used on the metal.
  11. Since I’m wrapping up Deladrin, here is the next in the queue. Devona, Female Wizard. She’s a curious wizard with plate mail leggings, a chain mail skirt, and a staff that looks more like a spear. Also, is her torso adorned with a breastplate? Or is it part of her dress? And what’s up with the scalloped things on her back? Not sure what I’m going to do with her. I hope you enjoy the process of discovery tagging along with me. The one thing I have decided is to try to give her more of an East Indian skin tone.
  12. My first miniature completed after many years. It was a gift for my wife :)
  13. This is the female Firbold Druid (SKU SS30) from Oathsworn Miniatures. I think she turned out best of my recent batch of minis. Oathsworn minis have all been a joy to paint so far, and this one is no exception.
  14. Blink Berenwicket, Female Gnome by Bobby Jackson is also available in metal sku# 03732. The armor is painted with some ancient GW green metallic. I experimented with blue metallic on the sword but I'm not overly thrilled with the result but it is good enough to call done :)
  15. This is the delightful Stonehave female halfling mage. Did slight OLS from the spell effect. Other than that, totally a tabletop paintjob.
  16. This is Tiriel from Hasslefree Miniatures that I painted in TMM. She was a much needed fun figure to help keep my motivation going as I work on other larger projects as I tend to loose focus if I work on something too long with out finishing.
  17. So the ex is going to be joining a new campaign, and she asked me to paint her figure, the Stonehaven female gnome rogue.... Still just starting, but need to motivate myself, as well as keeping track of colors.... Scalera is Reaper Linen White Pupil Warcolours Green 3 Skin SC 75 Arabic shade... Check back as more gets done!
  18. Presenting Amiri, she's an Iconic Barbarian from Reapers Pathfinder line. Had this one a little while, but all the fiddly bits kept putting me off (and I normally like fiddly minis), she turned out to be super fun to paint though. As always any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  19. So this is my take at painting Na'Kaat My firend uses this mini as a pc in our dnd campaign. The axe that comes with the mini felt too small to her so I swapped it with the two handed axe from 03197: Thelgar Halfblood, Half Orc Barbarian. All in all this was one was nice to paint and is really nice to look at after Hope you like it too!
  20. This in The Girl from Bombshell Miniatures and was one of my entries in the Painter's category at ReaperCon. I started painting her a couple of years ago, mainly to test the peachy color of the cloth. I decided to quickly finish her for ReaperCon as I wanted to have a Bombshell entry. She was not the figure chosen for judging in the main contest but she did receive a silver medal (dog tag) in Bombshell's manufacturer awards.
  21. This is the Bones version. I used her for an experiment with Contrast paints. I think it worked ok, but the softer detail gave a less desired effect -- at least on the armor. I had to go over that again with an ink wash. The red came out very bright. Maybe I could have gone over that with ink, too, but I liked the vivid contrast. She is a vampire, after all. I drybrushed a little silver metal for highlights on her armor, looks good in hand, but the flash caught it and it looks like white spots in the pic.
  22. I thought people might enjoy watching me helplessly flailing about as I attempt to paint an exceptionally intricate mini. This is Tzandi:- She's one fourth of my Monkey King Gang. Made a little progress today:- Painted her skin. This started as a base of Elf Flesh, was shaded with Flesh Wash and then highlighted with Elf Flesh and 1:1 Elf Flesh/Light Flesh. She then got lips of 1:1:1 Elf Flesh/Light Flesh/Warlord Purple, and dots of Brown Wash for eyes and between her lips. I had made a little bit of a mess painting her hands, so I went back over them carefully with Flesh Wash, just to give her separate fingers again. I automatically started painting her bosom as skin before realising she's wearing a dress under her corset, so that will be painted over eventually. The next job is hair and her ridiculously tiny hair ribbons.
  23. Foxtrot was fun to paint. She comes with two bodies, two heads and two sets of weapons so it's possible to make her up as a crazy-haired gasmask-wearing nutter or Hasslefree's version of Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road. As you can see, I decided on the crazy-haired gasmask-wearing nutter. Her right hand is separate, so fun and games ensued trying to get it glued to her wrist. I didn't dare attempt to drill/pin it as there was barely enough space for the drill bit and I had visions of wrecking the metal. The stock of her AK was on the verge of falling off, so I just did away with it. Her base is the usual Liquitex modelling paste, sand and paint.
  24. Sculptor: Bob Ridolfi I fished this cute girl out of the Box o' Goodwill from the Reaper forums, so it's only right that she make her way back to another forum member as an exchange mini for Secret Sophie 2016. Tricksay wanted to receive "open to anything"; I love when people pick that, because I can just paint whatever I feel like. Thanks to Bonwirn for giving me a bunch of Hirst Arts blocks to make the diorama out of. After I took these pictures I realized: OMG, you can't even see the rear half that I spent so much time on. Despite the chance of ruining the mini, I carefully drilled a magnet hole through the bottom of the base so she can be removed. I threw in a gaming base as well for picture taking purposes, and just in case Tricksay ever wants to use her in a game. I was joking with my friends at paint day that "no, those are her adventuring clothes; convenient necklace, weird skirt-thong and all."
  25. It took me ages to choose a colour scheme for the Valkeeri Leader. I eventually decided on Army Painter Shining Silver to go with the whole pulp scifi theme, and VGC Warlock Purple because why not. I was worried the silver bits of her uniform would look like armour instead of metallic cloth but I think it's turned out OK. For once I managed to get her eyes to a decent standard and her hair came out looking good too. Her gun is VMC Brass, toned down with VGC Sepia Wash and Liquitex matte varnish. Her lips are a tiny dab of VMC Brown Rose. I forgot about her cape until I was finished with her, so it got a few thin coats of Warlock Purple and then began the fun and games of gluing it to the figure. Four attempts later I got it in what I hope is the right position and touched up the purple.
