Evening all! So my last little mini is a Stonehaven Miniatures Firbolg Druid (at least I think she's a druid) that was digitally sculpted by Mike Evans and is one of the miniatures available in the Kickstarter he's got going on right now. If you're into digital printing it might be worth having a look at his Kickstarter. Anyhoos, here she is, and I'm actually pretty glad at how she came out: Normally I don't take so many angles, but with her pose it seems to be worth it. I'm used to the traditional metal Stonehaven which are a little flat, almost always being a single piece of metal, and of course Ral Partha, so her very "unflat" pose made different angles seem worth it. This one also kind of makes me want to tackle the Bones V firbolgs, but will take a while to get around to them I'm guessing. I see a few little spots where I could improve, but overall ended up pretty satisfied with this one. And being she's a Firbolg, she was a larger figure, which probably made it a bit of a relaxing experience! Anyways, if you like Mike Evan's sculpts, go check out his Kickstarter he's running right now. I'm off for a week to go on vacation out in Colorado, but when I get back I'll probably grab another one of these 3D printed sculpts and work on it as well soon. Which another point, I'm going on vacation for a week. Wouldn't it almost be logical and most relaxing if I were to take paints and minis with me to just relax and paint in all the leisure time I'm going to have next week? Just have a feeling that my significant other wouldn't be too pleased with that idea. Maybe not painting for a week will do me some good, no idea.

Hi folks. I've got plenty of minis painted from the last two years to slowly share with you all. Here we have the D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures Human Druid 73390. I was in need of a Firbolg Monk for my party, and Nolzur's had yet to release any of their firbolg models. Since the character would be traversing a frigid wasteland, I also wanted to find a character who was properly clothed - no sleeveless/shirtless monks for me. I settled on this character because he was properly rangery and most importantly - bearded. I chopped off his sword and the antlers on his back, glued a toothpick to his empty hand, sculpted some acceptable ears using green stuff and gave him some paint. I really like how it turned out and it managed to feel like the perfect blend between monk and naturalist. Though i must admit, his face is a bit muppety. More Photos Below the Spoiler: Pau, is a Firbolg from the tribes of Frostrun. He set out on a pilgrimage like many Firbolg do, and found himself at a monastery to the south, at the edge of the Frost. The monastery, besides providing shelter to the wary traveler, depicted a statue of Firbolg. Pau took this as a sign and spent several years training in the way of the Four Elements. Armed with this new power, Pau has set back out to the North to return home and restore order to Frostrun. Check out the rest of the Frostrun project HERE. This is the female Firbold Druid (SKU SS30) from Oathsworn Miniatures. I think she turned out best of my recent batch of minis. Oathsworn minis have all been a joy to paint so far, and this one is no exception.

I'm playing a Firbolg Druid in a campaign and couldn't find any mini to represent him. So I came across this Longtooth Barbarian and decided to convert one. I removed the sword on the back for a backpack, and I gave him a Scimitar.

Teaser pic, as there's only five minis sculpted so far! I'll be sculpting at least 7 more throughout the project, taking input and suggestions from the backers... So far, there's a firbolg druid, tabaxi and kenku rogues, a minotaur barbarian, and a hobgoblin eldritch knight. After consulting with our previous backers, the the most popular suggestions are - another tabaxi, probably either a monk or wizard; a tiefling wizard, and a tiefling paladin or cleric; another kenku (probably a magic user of some sort); a dragonborn paladin; a tortle (no ideas on class or equipment yet!); and finally a human barbarian, heavy, powerful build, but not lean. I'm open to suggestions though, so if you have any, please let me know! cheers Michael
