  1. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chappellm/pirates-of-the-dread-sea I don't think word got around - which is a damned shame, the minis look wonderful. We will be going in for a rulebook and a pirate band each - Megan going for dwarfs while I take the undead. At $4,589 of $9,944. We have the dwarfs from their previous KS - and they are very nice - The Auld Grump - because who wouldn't want a dwarf pirate wench?

    Goetia inspired Demon minis!

Hell Awaits... Wave 5 - This time featuring some Lesser Key of Solomon Goetia inspired Demons Here's the link to the Kickstarter for anyone who might be interested: Wave 5 Thanks for looking!
  3. Remember this thread? You know, the Yedharo/GT project that was cancelled and they said they'd reluanch it? Well they relaunched it. There's a lot less units this time and far more characters (some of whom appear to have been inspired by the Atlantis Dwarfs or are attempting to copy their success but with a Yedharo/GT spin on it). I might jump in for a small handful of character models but I won't go in big on this one. Then again why would dwarfs go big? They're small. It's one of their defining features :). 'cause Atlantis did dwarven women with shaved sides and some goat riders...... He's baaaaack! She got off the goat Hammer Man is back again Apparently she's really "Busty" At least the leaping Trollslayer is back again :) Mr Ugly Sword is back again (don't know why). I like this new hammer man The ugly rectangular shield unit with hammers is back (the only returning unit). They really should've fixed those shields and the "3rd edition/Dragonpunk helmets". The Bloodbowl team is back as well (obviously).
  4. A bit late, as there's only 21Hours left at this time, but... https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/lumir-k-the-one-and-only-cooking-oil-led-lamp/x/10803452#/ I'm at the 'Get 1 Give 1' which means I'm getting one of these weird lamps, and a family without electricity in Cambodia also gets one. ----------- Overview Lumir K is a cooking oil powered LED lamp that converts the thermal energy of cooking oil into electricity. ▶Make an Impact- Bring the light to the people living without electricity. ▶1 Lumir K = 100X candlelight ▶Easy to Use-Just placing the lamp over the lit wick will turn the LED light on. ▶Accessible-Olive or canola oil, it doesn't matter what kind of cooking oil is. ▶Instant light-No need of charging or battery ▶Efficient-Consumes the only 5ml of oil for 1 hour of light ▶10-year life span Small heat energy turns the 100 times brighter LED light. Less Consumption, Less Emission Lumir K converts the small thermal energy of cooking oil into electricity and it turns on the bright LEDs. This amazing lantern will light up where you want and it make an impact on the world where it is needed. From now, Cooking oil turns to the power source of your lamp. Lumir K uses cooking oil to generate electricity. Cooking oil is one of the cheapest and familiar ingredients as it is easily found from grocery stores in the city to tiny kiosk shops in a remote area. Olive, canola and sunflower oil, it doesn't matter what kind of cooking oil is. Without any batteries or external power supply, only with tiny flame which is as big as candle, Lumir K gives you an instant and 100 times brighter light. Lumir K is an easy, accessible and sustainable solution for those who need a light. With a goal to light up the world, team Lumir had a successful campaign with our first product, candle powered LED lamp. We promised to keep developing solutions for families in the off-grid area and finally came back with Lumir K by improving efficiency and changing fuel as cooking oil. Lumir K achieved CE and its core technology is patented. We are happy to share this achievement with you, and we need your support to take one step further. Lumir K will brighten up anywhere light needs to touch. Lumir has been resolving the light shortages and delivering the beauty of light. Our journey started from a small but momentous experience during the trip to India, learning that there are so many places around the world suffering from unreliable or no electricity supply. Among 1.2 billion who do not have access to electricity, most of them rely on candles or kerosene lamps which is dark, harmful for health and the environment. Using kerosene lamps indoors has the same effect as smoking 40 cigarettes and the cost for fuel takes up even 30% of the household's income. Instead of unreliable supply, Isn't it be possible to maximize the light from a candle or a kerosene lamp? That was the question that led us to invent Lumir K as an effective solution for the light shortage issue. In the case of kerosene lamps, only 10% of the energy from the fuel is used for illuminating because the flame itself is the direct light, and the rest, 90% of the energy is just scattered in the air as a heat. However, Lumir K harnesses the wasted 90% of the heat energy to turn on the LEDs, so it is pretty economical as it provides a brighter light only with a small flame. LUMIR K can be used anytime and anywhere while solar lamps has a big weather constraints in many areas like Indonesia where the average rainy days are more than 160 days. After our first crowdfunding campaign, we became a partner of KOICA, Korean International Cooperation Agency, and Lumir K was piloted in Indonesia. Lumir K provides 4.1 times brighter light than kerosene lamps, while its economic effect was also achieved with 80% lower fuel consumption compared to kerosene lamps. It also reduces carbon emissions by about 90%.
  5. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/718310363/28mm-mayan-pyramid/description Oh, @Glitterwolf !!! Paging WOOF! So, this is .. .terrain? Some armies? With optional C'thulu thrown in for good measure. I know nothing about anybody involved, YMMV.
  6. Sorry if I've missed seeing this one. It's the latest KS from Agate/Studio 2. This time it's not Esteren but the project that Iris has been working on. It sounds like it is pretty well done in French, so this project is to finance printing of the English edition. Fateforge
  7. Didn't see a post on this one and it is in the final 24 hours. It is from Mythic Games, the originators of Mythic Battles series. This one is a bit less serious and more along the lines of Arcadia Quest/MOBA comic-fantasy theme. It is a skirmish game for 2 or 4 players. Miniatures are on 45mm bases and fall in the 32-45mm range. It appears that the bases are pre-sculpted. If MB:P is any indicator, the quality of the miniatures should be pretty solid as well. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1162110258/super-fantasy-brawl/
  8. This KS is now live. URL: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/450703636/battletech-clan-invasion Catalyst Game Labs will be launching a Kickstarter project for a Clan Invasion box set for BattleTech on July 17, 2019. This was announced on the BattleTech forums about two weeks ago. I've copied the announcement below: In 3050, the true heirs of the lost Star League thunder forth from the depths of the far Periphery and carve deep into the quarreling Successor States. As the Clan juggernaut rolls across the coreward realms of the Inner Sphere, the House Lords scramble to shore up their defenses and devise some way to halt the invaders. The Clan spear is aimed at the heart of human-occupied space. Do you possess the bold tactics and heroic courage to defeat warriors trained from birth to conquer? Or will you uphold Kerensky’s dream to cast aside the squabbling lords of the Inner Sphere and reignite the flame of the Star League? Hot on the heels of the wildly successful launch of two new boxed sets, the BattleTech tabletop game comes to Kickstarter for the first time ever to unleash totally remodeled Clan and Inner Sphere ’Mechs on your gaming table. Utilizing the same process that modernized the nine BattleMechs found in those bestselling box sets, each ’Mech has been painstakingly re-imagined, holding to the spirit of their original design while embracing a modern aesthetic. (Click on the images to enlarge.) The Clan Invasion box set will add five popular Clan OmniMechs to your arsenal, including the seminal Timber Wolf (Mad Cat). It will also include a bevy of support materials, the rules needed to play Clan technology, all new maps, and more. Stretch goals will rapidly fill the ranks with more Clan and Inner Sphere ’Mechs boasting all-new looks. The Clan Command Star expansion will include the devastating Dire Wolf (Daishi) and the ever-popular Shadow Cat, while the Clan Attack Star pack will contain the Warhawk (Masakari) and Nova Cat. Meanwhile, the Inner Sphere will take desperate action to try to stave off the invasion. The Inner Sphere Command Lance pack will deploy the beloved Marauder and Archer, while the Warhammer and Phoenix Hawk will hot-drop from the Inner Sphere Battle Lance pack. And there’s more to unlock on both sides! Add-ons will include a plethora of exciting new BattleTech merchandise, the latest rulebooks, sourcebooks, boxed sets, and more!

  10. So, I just realized there isn't a thread here yet on that officially licensed game based on everyone's favorite the best known dinosaur franchise (sorry, I prefer Xenozoic Tales, here): https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jurassicworld/jurassic-worldtm-miniature-game I can't say I'm overly impressed, given they don't seem to have anything but renders yet (making that Jun. 2020 delivery date look... optimistic, to say the least), and given the English project page certainly hasn't been run by anyone legitimately 'bilingual', casting some doubt on whether they'll manage to pick a 'specialized game translator' that can actually deliver quality English text (particularly, I'm concerned they'll use someone normally doing English to French translation without considering that doesn't really prove they're good at doing the reverse). I also don't like how they're being a little obtuse with the company(s) behind the project. Who exactly is Cimmeria? Why doesn't Exod have an actual website under that address? What does Bandecine have to do with anything? Overall, I guess I just convinced myself to give this a pass. Backing French companies waving - maybe not the brightest, but still - red flags on Kickstarter has a tradition of being a bad idea. Not risking this being the exception to the rule.

    Rise of the Powrie

These savages are on Kickstarter. My first Kickstarter! There are all kinds of add ons lurking in here too. Thanks Reaper for providing this forum! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1648985407/rise-of-the-powrie?ref=creator_nav
  12. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcknight/roleplaying-spell-effects-20-cheaper-and-pre-cut I've wanted to use Arclight but just didn't feel like spending the cash to do it. Hoping this set covers every official 5e spell effect. I really like the notes on the sides. Since I'm a digital DM, kinda troublesome to look up spell effects on oddball spells.

  16. "Hi Everyone, It has been quite a while since I posted an update about any of Dark Fable Miniatures upcoming projects. Unfortunately, I became very ill back in January and was diagnosed with cancer. Since that time everything pretty much ground to a halt while I have been receiving chemotherapy treatment. Slowly but surely I have started to recover and gain my strength back and now feel ready to launch a Kickstarter project soon. Well over a year ago Dark Fable purchased the rights and moulds to a number of lines from Otherworld miniatures, including the Evil Cultists. We wanted to rerelease these excellent miniatures and have some new moulds made for them to produce some really nice crisp clean castings. We also asked the original sculptor of these miniatures, Kev Adams, to make some new additions to the Evil Cultist line. These new sets have all been completed and will soon be sent to the mould maker. I wanted to give everyone who supported our last kickstarter a heads up before we launch Evil Cultist project - although I do not have an exact date yet it will probably be in a week or so. If you have any questions please message me - Thank you! Mike"

    Artemis 2.0 By Kev White

A new kickstarter project from Kev White: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hasslefriesian/artemis-20/description Don't think I shall be backing this myself as I don't do much that is bigger than 54mm. This seems to be happening off Kev's own bat and I don't think Hasslefree is involved. Whether that is a good thing or not I leave to your own judgement.
  18. The Kickstarter is now Live: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badsquiddogames/amazons-and-dwarves-quality-28mm-female-miniatures - I backed one of Annie’s previous kickstarters, the one with all the forest animals including beavers and moose and bears (oh my). I also bought several of her female minis and the sculpts are quite nice and the castings were great quality. Very sharp and clean. I’m very happy with what I’ve ordered and if finances allowed I would back again.

    Atlantis Wood Elves 5/22

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/atlantisminiatures/atlantis-miniatures-28mm-wood-elves?ref=discovery_category_newest About Welcome to our latest Kickstarter release: Wood Elves A collection of wood elf miniatures that will continue to grow after the completion of this project. So let us know what else you want to see. We may even squeeze a few more miniatures into this campaign! Artist (Dan Jack): "This was quite an exciting project to work on. I have always pictured wood elves to be more feral and slightly darker than modern interpretations. The horns for me, are a way of depicting an elder, in an otherwise young looking race. As the elves become more integrated with the forest, they start to develop horns, which are seen as a nod to their stature with in the force. You will see some of the leaders with horns. This in turn, is a foundation we will be building into the narrative of our game. The death of an elf works in both directions. As they come closer to death and old age, you shall see a more warped by the forest aesthetic. I am looking forward to pushing this further with characters in the expansion of this range, as well as more young'uns." Please note that the items that are shown in black are a guaranteed addition to box sets. They will be revealed as stretch goals to generate excitement! Shipping Date: APRIL 2020 If you don't want the full box set, you can build your own custom order, by adding up the value of the items you want, and then pledge that amount in the 'build you own pledge' reward. You will get to pick and choose what you want in the pledge manager using your credit.
  20. Hi all, Andrew May launched the second season of Black Crab Miniatures. I backed the first season, and was pretty happy with it. They’re resin minis with very creepy looks, I thought you guys might be interested. :) The campaign is very short, there’s already less than 24 hours to back it.

Raid on the Temple of Serpent

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1084608523/raid-on-the-temple-of-serpents/description About Welcome to the most thrilling raid in the miniature history! Choose your side, fight until the end and get greatly rewarded for your engagement! This campaign features 2 lines of miniatures! "Temple of Serpent" is a brand new collection inspired by the lost civilizations of Amazonia and Mesoamerica. It envisions an utopian enclave hidden so deep in the wilderness that it is considered forbidden territory. The tribe is focused on preserving an ancient magic with the help of gods and dinosaurs. Be the first to explore it! "Bloodsail Island" is an established line of ruthless ogre pirates. Upon discovering the Temple of Serpent they have became overpowered by the desire to plunder its treasures. They are going to need every hand on deck for this one, so the line is getting a massive extension! Our products are in 28mm scale and come with square bases. Check pictures at the bottom of our campaign to see the size comparisons. All miniatures are made from high-quality resin that ensures highest details, durability and flexibility. Based on our Kickstarter experience and community feedback we have came up with the simplest Reward System to date. You can choose one of the following pledges. Deckhand Pledge is for you if you are not sure what you need but you want to be a part of the campaing. It will give you the access to the Pledge Manager where you will be able to spend your additional funds on any miniatures you want. Basic Pledge is for you if you do not want to pick a side. It is really simple. You plede $99 and you receive $99 to spend on addons. But on top of that you will choose and receive either a set of Serpent Freebies OR Ogre Freebies. The more SG we unlock the more value will come with those freebies packs. In Captain Pledge you become the commander of ogre pirate army! Pledge $199 to get Captain Krabor in special offer for $40. The rest of your funds ($159) you will be able to spend in the Pledge Manager on any addons that you see fit. On top of that, you will receive a set of Ogre Freebies. The more SG we unlock the more value will come with your freebies packs. In Serpent Pledge you become the deity of the Temple! Pledge $199 to get High Priestess on Pterossus in a special offer for $50. The rest of your funds ($149) you will be able to spend in the Pledge Manager on any addons that you see fit. On top of that, you will receive a set of Serpent Freebies. The more SG we unlock the more value will come with your freebies packs. After the campaign ends, we will open a Pledge Manager. You will receive an e-mail address with a link to it. When you log in, you will be able to pick your rewards and spend your funds on any chosen add-ons from the campaign. You will also be able to transfer additional funds via PayPal. After finishing an order a shipping cost will be charged, based on your address and the package weight. All additional funds you pledge over your reward price you will be able to spend on add-ons. When our Campaign is live we will post a link to an online calculator that will help you in figuring out how much you need to pledge to get all the miniatures you want. Example 1: You want just 3 units of Raptor Riders that are $39 each. In order to get them you need to choose Basic Pledge and pledge $117 (3x $39) for it. This will allow you to spend that $117 in Pledge Manager and choose 3x Raptor Riders. On top of that you will be able to choose a set of freebies (either Serpent of Ogre one). Example 2: You want Captain Krabor, 3 units of Sharkman that are $39 each and 5 units of goblins that are $12 each. In order to get those you should choose Captain Pledge and pledge $217 for it. In this pledge Captain Krabor is in a better price and you will also get $159 for other addons. You need 3x $39 + 5x $12 = $177 so you need to pledge $18 on top of the pledge price to cover everything. In case of any mistakes, there will be no problem with make a correction. You will always be able to add funds in the Pledge Manager via PayPal, so if you do not pledge enough through Kickstarter, you will still be able to get everything you need after the campaign ends. See what's coming up! We want YOU to pick your side in this conflict and have a direct impact on the campaign! See the facebook post and support your side by voting. In each phase of the conflict, your support will tip the scales. The winner will have the priority in unlocking the dedicated stretch goals and freebies! Support your favourites! 28mm Hard Plastic Fauns

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rgdgaming/help-us-make-28mm-hard-plastic-fauns-for-your-tabl/description Quite a long time ago, this project was on KS for the first time. The creator had a lot to learn about material, options on sprues, poses etc ... so the first KS lost momentum. He sure took his time and now he's back and it looks to me (at first glance) that he definitely did his homework. It might me a niche "army", but I'm definitely interested in a pack of those fauns. If some of the stretch goals get unlocked, there is some awesome stuff coming.
  24. Exquis. A range of modern day women with five busts planned in total and one of them potentially entirelly for free! The Kickstarter should start towards the end of May after we have shipped out all the Dragon Masters packages. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/859512613/exquis
  25. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1662635043/waylaid-by-bandits A gang of ten 28mm bandits, thugs and ruffians for all of your fantasy miniature games. Already funded in less than 2 hours. I really like what Midlam generally does and I happen to need bandits, so i’m probably going to get them all 10 (well, 11 as they always add another mini as a stretch goal). They also allow people to get 9 other bandits from their range as an add-on.
