    Dwarven Forge KS6 Caverns Deep

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/dwarvenforge/caverns-deep-by-dwarven-forge-handcrafted-game-ter/description If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.DF had this to say and showed the below teaser picsWe're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.Some of the key features: New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)PassagesElevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)Large pieces (4x4 and larger)
  2. This KS is now live. URL: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/450703636/battletech-clan-invasion Catalyst Game Labs will be launching a Kickstarter project for a Clan Invasion box set for BattleTech on July 17, 2019. This was announced on the BattleTech forums about two weeks ago. I've copied the announcement below: In 3050, the true heirs of the lost Star League thunder forth from the depths of the far Periphery and carve deep into the quarreling Successor States. As the Clan juggernaut rolls across the coreward realms of the Inner Sphere, the House Lords scramble to shore up their defenses and devise some way to halt the invaders. The Clan spear is aimed at the heart of human-occupied space. Do you possess the bold tactics and heroic courage to defeat warriors trained from birth to conquer? Or will you uphold Kerensky’s dream to cast aside the squabbling lords of the Inner Sphere and reignite the flame of the Star League? Hot on the heels of the wildly successful launch of two new boxed sets, the BattleTech tabletop game comes to Kickstarter for the first time ever to unleash totally remodeled Clan and Inner Sphere ’Mechs on your gaming table. Utilizing the same process that modernized the nine BattleMechs found in those bestselling box sets, each ’Mech has been painstakingly re-imagined, holding to the spirit of their original design while embracing a modern aesthetic. (Click on the images to enlarge.) The Clan Invasion box set will add five popular Clan OmniMechs to your arsenal, including the seminal Timber Wolf (Mad Cat). It will also include a bevy of support materials, the rules needed to play Clan technology, all new maps, and more. Stretch goals will rapidly fill the ranks with more Clan and Inner Sphere ’Mechs boasting all-new looks. The Clan Command Star expansion will include the devastating Dire Wolf (Daishi) and the ever-popular Shadow Cat, while the Clan Attack Star pack will contain the Warhawk (Masakari) and Nova Cat. Meanwhile, the Inner Sphere will take desperate action to try to stave off the invasion. The Inner Sphere Command Lance pack will deploy the beloved Marauder and Archer, while the Warhammer and Phoenix Hawk will hot-drop from the Inner Sphere Battle Lance pack. And there’s more to unlock on both sides! Add-ons will include a plethora of exciting new BattleTech merchandise, the latest rulebooks, sourcebooks, boxed sets, and more!

    Trailblazer Game Stamps

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1209005612/trailblazer-game-stamps?ref=discovery_category_newest About Game Stamps are a map-making tool for role-playing games, which can be used right at the table as you play. The Trailblazer stamps depict iconic terrain such as mountains, forests, or seas. Whether you're preparing for a campaign or mapping the adventure as it unfolds, the stamps let you create attractive paper and ink maps in a fraction of the time it would take to draw them. All of the artwork is compatible with 1" hexes and grids, making the stamps ideal for open-world games. Stamp each hex as the players explore it, or pass the stamps around the table and create a shared world. No matter how many people contribute to it or how many sessions it takes to explore it, the map will be detailed and consistent. Game Stamps are made of natural gum rubber, deeply etched to produce a high quality image. The rubber is precisely trimmed to avoid artifacts, and cushioned with thick foam to distribute pressure evenly, improving the quality of the impression. The hardwood mounts have an hourglass profile, making them easy to grip. Each set comes in a cushioned chipboard box and includes an archival-quality ink pad. A wonderful addition to the toolkit of any game group with a penchant for exploration. Whether you're creating a world ahead of time or improvising a hexcrawl on the spot, Brendan Day's Game Stamps will help you create a handcrafted map with speed and clarity. ~ Jason Lutes, author of The Perilous Wilds and Berlin. Game Stamps are a great idea executed well. They're a welcome addition to my gaming library. I can't wait to see more! ~ Tony Dowler, author of How to Host a Dungeon. Whether we use high quality pens and papers, or just scribble on the nearest scrap of paper, map making is one of the many hobbies within a hobby, that are part of being a gamer. When it comes to maps for fantasy games, there is an artistic quality to homemade one of a kind maps, that cannot be equaled. Game Stamps really do have that handmade look and feel. ~ Griffith Morgan, Co-Director of Secrets of Blackmoor: The True History of Dungeons and Dragons. The Trailblazer stamps depict the following terrain: Mountains Hills Grassland Swamp Forest (Deciduous) Forest (Conifer) Sea Desert Tower Village Castle or Walled City Megalith or Dungeon Entrance If you back at the Wanderer or Explorer level, you will receive a starter set containing 6 or 9 stamps. The Wanderer level lets you choose either the Deciduous or Conifer forest, whereas the Explorer level includes both of the forest designs. If you back at the Adventurer, Wayfinder, or Cartographer level, you will receive all of the designs. The Wayfinder and Cartographer levels include 3 additional stamps, which depict individual trees. 1/2" Tree (Deciduous) 1/2" Tree (Conifer) 1/2" Tree (Leafless) You can use these smaller stamps to create mixed terrain such as forested hills, or to add variety to large sections of woodland. All sets include a jet black archival-quality ink pad, but if you back at the Cartographer level, you will receive three additional ink pads in colors of your choice. I recommend Cobalt Blue and Vermillion Red, but other colors are available.
  4. Dwarven Forge is doing a smaller kickstarter in June. It's a pseudo sequel to their Caverns Deep line (which was their 6th kickstarter, aka KS6), KS6.66 - Hellscape. This is different than their 7th Kickstarter - Wildlands which will be outdoor themed (trees and such) in Jan 2020. Many of you have been asking for smaller Kickstarters that are more digestible. So we're going to try it! We are going to launch a small, two-week KS with a limited scope. Best of all, it's happening very soon -- KS6.66 - Hellscape will launch in late June 2019! As the name implies, the lava-based project will focus on the fiery wasteland the fiends of the Nine Hells inhabit. The collection will consist of a small number of new sculpts as well as some repaints of some Caverns Deep pieces. EDIT: It start on June 16th (Father's Day in the US)

    Greebo Primal Scales

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/greebo-games/primal-scales-reptiles-and-savage-women-for-fantas About Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order. Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done. By pledging to this campaign, you are stating that you have read and understood all terms and conditions described therein and are accepting them. Therefore, all subsequent interactions with Greebo Games regarding this pledge will have to take this fact into consideration In order: Comparative size between physical prodotypes - Digital Paint for Karimat Blitzer - Karimat's physical prototypes Those who pledge to the project will have a team made of several exclusive miniatures, and these will never be available in the store. This might sound peculiar, since most “KickStarter exclusive” pieces are not part of the teams per se, but rather, optional miniatures, or less important ones. What we’re talking about here, fellas, is giving each backer limited edition models. Later on, people will find different ones in the store, and they won’t simply be mirrored versions, or the same model with an added shoulder pad: they’re going to be different pieces, with different poses and clothed differently. Our goal is to create something that will be more precious, and largely exclusive for our backers, but something that will also retain its price – and that’s why you won’t find any miniatures with outrageous price tags on them, “cause hey, they’re limited edition!”. Nope: the price will stay exactly the same. Will it be worth it to wait more time in order to be sure to receive a custom team, made of detailed pieces created by talented sculptors, with limited edition models, dedicated stretch goals expressly for gaming purposes (as opposed to “stuff to collect dust on top of a shelf”), for the price of a KickStarter campaign that will surely not be the same of the team in the store? The choice is entirely up to you all

  7. Exquis. A range of modern day women with five busts planned in total and one of them potentially entirelly for free! The Kickstarter should start towards the end of May after we have shipped out all the Dragon Masters packages. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/859512613/exquis
  8. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chappellm/pirates-of-the-dread-sea I don't think word got around - which is a damned shame, the minis look wonderful. We will be going in for a rulebook and a pirate band each - Megan going for dwarfs while I take the undead. At $4,589 of $9,944. We have the dwarfs from their previous KS - and they are very nice - The Auld Grump - because who wouldn't want a dwarf pirate wench?
  9. Remember this thread? You know, the Yedharo/GT project that was cancelled and they said they'd reluanch it? Well they relaunched it. There's a lot less units this time and far more characters (some of whom appear to have been inspired by the Atlantis Dwarfs or are attempting to copy their success but with a Yedharo/GT spin on it). I might jump in for a small handful of character models but I won't go in big on this one. Then again why would dwarfs go big? They're small. It's one of their defining features :). 'cause Atlantis did dwarven women with shaved sides and some goat riders...... He's baaaaack! She got off the goat Hammer Man is back again Apparently she's really "Busty" At least the leaping Trollslayer is back again :) Mr Ugly Sword is back again (don't know why). I like this new hammer man The ugly rectangular shield unit with hammers is back (the only returning unit). They really should've fixed those shields and the "3rd edition/Dragonpunk helmets". The Bloodbowl team is back as well (obviously).

    Cosmo Communicator

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/cosmo-communicator/x/10803452#/ BACKERS 1,371 Quick Facts Cosmo Communicator is a pocketable clamshell smartphone with a physical backlit keyboard Device features dual colour touchscreen displays and a 24MP camera External 2" touchscreen when device is closed and large 6" touchscreen when device is open - ample space to create on the move. Cosmo runs Android 9 (Pie) and also supports Linux OS, such as Sailfish OS and Debian, with a multi-boot option Built to be the only device you need to carry, and small enough to fit in your pocket, it’s a true all-in-one replacement for both your mobile phone and your laptop. Media Coverage Slashgear "This is just the latest and greatest of the machines the company’s made to fill the gaps between smartphone and laptop“ ZD NET "Tiny Android, Linux laptop: Cosmo Communicator is also dual-screen phone” The Verge “tiny Android laptop …doubles as a phone” The Register "Planet brought the clamshell QWERTY back to the market 17 years after Psion made its last PDA” Engadget “intended to serve as a phone, not just a pocketable productivity machine” Liliputing “… use as a smartphone replacement rather than a smartphone companion” Engadget Japan “レトロフューチャーなデザインに最新機能山盛りのGemini PDA後継機” The Planet Story continues... At Planet Computers innovation is at the heart of our company. Earlier this year, we successfully delivered our Gemini PDA product to more than 7000 Indiegogo backers who supported our mission to kick start a new mobile computing revolution. Now, we are ready to push our vision even further and you can be part of it. In the process of developing our new device we asked our Indiegogo backers, users and followers what features they wanted to have. We are excited to announce that we are extending the range of Planet devices with the Cosmo Communicator, our new flagship device. The Cosmo Communicator is a modern dual-screen clamshell-based mobile communicator with an integrated keyboard. It is built to be a great pocket computer, a superb mobile phone and an excellent high resolution camera. The Cosmo features dual colour displays: it features an external colour touchscreen display for easy phone call control and notifications. Tucked away inside the beautiful and sleek award winning clamshell design is an ultra-wide 6” colour touchscreen display providing ample space to create on the move with a fully functioning keyboard integrated into the device. When open, the innovative clamshell also acts as a support of the device, allowing you to type comfortably. Cosmo’s newly designed backlit keyboard, allows you to comfortably work at night or in dark spaces such as on long plane journeys without the need of external lighting. Disclaimer; I own the Gemini, their previous communicator. Yes, the keyboard works and you can write on it at a decent speed. Unfortunately, on the Gemini, Libreoffice on Debian really lags... like my painting... (Yeah, struggling to catch up.) They're promising a faster CPU with more cores on the Cosmo, but so far I don't know how much faster. MUltiboot OS is possible (I have Debian as default, Android as second and Sailfish as the third on my Gemini), but currently it requires a fiddly process where you download OS images, erase the internal storage on the device, then use a PC SW package to flash it with the images. And multibooted devices don't support the usual Android update system. (I expect the process will be improved later) I'm currently undecided and have about a week left to decide...
  11. The Kickstarter is now Live: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badsquiddogames/amazons-and-dwarves-quality-28mm-female-miniatures - I backed one of Annie’s previous kickstarters, the one with all the forest animals including beavers and moose and bears (oh my). I also bought several of her female minis and the sculpts are quite nice and the castings were great quality. Very sharp and clean. I’m very happy with what I’ve ordered and if finances allowed I would back again.

    Artemis 2.0 By Kev White

A new kickstarter project from Kev White: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/hasslefriesian/artemis-20/description Don't think I shall be backing this myself as I don't do much that is bigger than 54mm. This seems to be happening off Kev's own bat and I don't think Hasslefree is involved. Whether that is a good thing or not I leave to your own judgement.

    Stonehaven Dwarves Vol. 2

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2087444096/stonehaven-dwarves-vol-2/description About "...Aulë made the dwarves strong to endure. Therefore they are stone-hard, stubborn, fast in friendship and in enmity, and they suffer toil and hunger and hurt of body more hardily than all other speaking peoples; and they live long, far beyond the span of Men, yet not forever." -J. R. R. Tolkien Dwarves really are the best! While they're often a bit rough around the edges, they have the best accents, are insatiably loot-hungry, and will fight anything that moves—so we are going to make a bunch more of them! We've assembled them into adventuring parties to make it easier for us to pack and ship. You can add an additional adventuring party to your base reward for $22. Additional individual dwarves can be added to your base reward for $5 each. For a slightly larger view of the minis, check them out on our blog. Here are the adventuring parties: From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Brawler, Female Dwarven Bard, Male Dwarven Deathknight, Male Dwarven Druid, Female Dwarven Warrior The League seeks out the ancient dwarven knowledge hidden deep within the lost caverns. They hope that, in time, civilized dwarves will once again inhabit those hallowed halls. From Left to Right: Male Dwarven Rogue, Female Dwarven Sheildbreaker, Male Dwarven Battlerager, Male Dwarven Mage, Female Dwarven Archer Hogg's Tavern is not the sort of place that anyone should visit . . . at least not anyone who values their life or health. Surprisingly, it has regulars. Its patrons are usually adventures past their prime or looking to make a name for themselves. From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Mechanist, Male Dwarven Automaton, Male Dwarven Gunslinger, Female Dwarven Automage, Male Dwarven Investigator Not everyone has embraced the "advances" made in the Steam Valley workshops. When the Savages descended on the valley, the Seigebreakers and their constructs helped turn the tide against the invading armies. From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Vampire Hunter, Male Dwarven Undead Elite, Male Dwarven Necromancer, Female Dwarven Huntsman, Male Dwarven Warlord The lands beyond Raven's Gate are shrouded in perpetual mists and haunted by the undead. Only the very brave or the very foolish venture there. Why not both? From Left to Right: Female Dwarven Barbarian, Female Dwarven Berserker, Female Dwarven Wandsmith, Male Dwarven Fighter, Male Dwarven Barbarian The Iron Hills are not an easy country to grow up in. There's bitter cold winters and orcish armies locked in perpetual combat. That's not even mentioning the greatwolves. No one ever mentions the greatwolves. Every Stretch Goal we hit will add more dwarves (or dwarf-related miniature items/companions) to the Completionist Set. When we have enough of these for a new adventuring party, a new party will be formed. Here are our stretch goals: At $7,500 the Female Dwarven Cleric will be unlocked and added to the Dwarves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. She will also made available as a $5 add-on. At $10,000 the Male Dwarven Buccaneer will be unlocked and added to the Dwaves Vol. 2 Completionist Reward. He will also be made available as a $5 add-on. As we hit these stretch goals, more dwarves will be unleashed!

  16. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/chibi-siblings-of-conflict-miniatures?ref=friends_launched About The siblings of conflict are here! Attack! this interstellar army of hardboiled girls are ready to conquer your tabletop! Assemble unique squads with powerful weapons, led by brave leaders. They're cute, they're rowdy, they are the siblings of conflict! STRETCH GOALS We're planning amazing, unique hero characters, and more! Surprises await! New Stretch Goals will appear as the campaign advances! Chibi miniatures! Chibis are adorable characters that have lately have made a splash in the boardgaming and miniature community with games such as Super Dungeon Explore, Arcadia Quest, Ninja All-Stars and many others. They're also featured in collectible figurines and in other geeky paraphernalia. This is the NINTH Chibi KickStarter run by Impact! Miniatures and Impact! is partnering with Märchen to bring you some incredible, new Siblings of Conflict chibi miniatures along with sci-fi allies & enemies for them to combat! The funding goal will pay for the sculpting & 3-D printing of the miniatures. The Miniatures ALL miniatures in this KickStarter are provided unpainted. Unless otherwise stated after the name of the miniature, all miniatures offered with this KickStarter will be high quality 3-D prints done on a top end 25 to 50 micron printer (you should not see print lines after priming and paint). As stretch goals are reached we will unlock additional sculpts. The miniatures will require light clean up, being primed before painted and might need some assembly (although we will do our best to keep the figures with as few pieces as possible). You can use your reward dollars to get any of the miniatures in the listing above. Miniature Quality While many of the miniatures in this KickStarter will be 3-D printed, the quality will be a very high level since they are 25 to 50 micron 3-D SLA prints which are very different than ABS prints. Below is an extreme close -up example of a printed figure and how it shows no print lines when primed and painted (with no other prep work). Many thanks to Yeji Kim for her painting of Vanguard Leader Anna (top row) and Jason Turner for the painting of Vanguard Leader Anna and Vanguard Trooper #3 (bottom row)! Shipping Shipping will be charged in the pledge manager after the project. At this time we are estimating $5 for US backers, $13 for Canada and $17 for Rest of World. Shipping of the KickStarter will be EU Friendly and should not incur any customs fees.

  19. "Hi Everyone, It has been quite a while since I posted an update about any of Dark Fable Miniatures upcoming projects. Unfortunately, I became very ill back in January and was diagnosed with cancer. Since that time everything pretty much ground to a halt while I have been receiving chemotherapy treatment. Slowly but surely I have started to recover and gain my strength back and now feel ready to launch a Kickstarter project soon. Well over a year ago Dark Fable purchased the rights and moulds to a number of lines from Otherworld miniatures, including the Evil Cultists. We wanted to rerelease these excellent miniatures and have some new moulds made for them to produce some really nice crisp clean castings. We also asked the original sculptor of these miniatures, Kev Adams, to make some new additions to the Evil Cultist line. These new sets have all been completed and will soon be sent to the mould maker. I wanted to give everyone who supported our last kickstarter a heads up before we launch Evil Cultist project - although I do not have an exact date yet it will probably be in a week or so. If you have any questions please message me - Thank you! Mike"

    Rise of the Powrie

  22. A bit late, as there's only 21Hours left at this time, but... https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/lumir-k-the-one-and-only-cooking-oil-led-lamp/x/10803452#/ I'm at the 'Get 1 Give 1' which means I'm getting one of these weird lamps, and a family without electricity in Cambodia also gets one. ----------- Overview Lumir K is a cooking oil powered LED lamp that converts the thermal energy of cooking oil into electricity. ▶Make an Impact- Bring the light to the people living without electricity. ▶1 Lumir K = 100X candlelight ▶Easy to Use-Just placing the lamp over the lit wick will turn the LED light on. ▶Accessible-Olive or canola oil, it doesn't matter what kind of cooking oil is. ▶Instant light-No need of charging or battery ▶Efficient-Consumes the only 5ml of oil for 1 hour of light ▶10-year life span Small heat energy turns the 100 times brighter LED light. Less Consumption, Less Emission Lumir K converts the small thermal energy of cooking oil into electricity and it turns on the bright LEDs. This amazing lantern will light up where you want and it make an impact on the world where it is needed. From now, Cooking oil turns to the power source of your lamp. Lumir K uses cooking oil to generate electricity. Cooking oil is one of the cheapest and familiar ingredients as it is easily found from grocery stores in the city to tiny kiosk shops in a remote area. Olive, canola and sunflower oil, it doesn't matter what kind of cooking oil is. Without any batteries or external power supply, only with tiny flame which is as big as candle, Lumir K gives you an instant and 100 times brighter light. Lumir K is an easy, accessible and sustainable solution for those who need a light. With a goal to light up the world, team Lumir had a successful campaign with our first product, candle powered LED lamp. We promised to keep developing solutions for families in the off-grid area and finally came back with Lumir K by improving efficiency and changing fuel as cooking oil. Lumir K achieved CE and its core technology is patented. We are happy to share this achievement with you, and we need your support to take one step further. Lumir K will brighten up anywhere light needs to touch. Lumir has been resolving the light shortages and delivering the beauty of light. Our journey started from a small but momentous experience during the trip to India, learning that there are so many places around the world suffering from unreliable or no electricity supply. Among 1.2 billion who do not have access to electricity, most of them rely on candles or kerosene lamps which is dark, harmful for health and the environment. Using kerosene lamps indoors has the same effect as smoking 40 cigarettes and the cost for fuel takes up even 30% of the household's income. Instead of unreliable supply, Isn't it be possible to maximize the light from a candle or a kerosene lamp? That was the question that led us to invent Lumir K as an effective solution for the light shortage issue. In the case of kerosene lamps, only 10% of the energy from the fuel is used for illuminating because the flame itself is the direct light, and the rest, 90% of the energy is just scattered in the air as a heat. However, Lumir K harnesses the wasted 90% of the heat energy to turn on the LEDs, so it is pretty economical as it provides a brighter light only with a small flame. LUMIR K can be used anytime and anywhere while solar lamps has a big weather constraints in many areas like Indonesia where the average rainy days are more than 160 days. After our first crowdfunding campaign, we became a partner of KOICA, Korean International Cooperation Agency, and Lumir K was piloted in Indonesia. Lumir K provides 4.1 times brighter light than kerosene lamps, while its economic effect was also achieved with 80% lower fuel consumption compared to kerosene lamps. It also reduces carbon emissions by about 90%.
  23. Didn't see a post on this one and it is in the final 24 hours. It is from Mythic Games, the originators of Mythic Battles series. This one is a bit less serious and more along the lines of Arcadia Quest/MOBA comic-fantasy theme. It is a skirmish game for 2 or 4 players. Miniatures are on 45mm bases and fall in the 32-45mm range. It appears that the bases are pre-sculpted. If MB:P is any indicator, the quality of the miniatures should be pretty solid as well. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1162110258/super-fantasy-brawl/
  24. Sorry if I've missed seeing this one. It's the latest KS from Agate/Studio 2. This time it's not Esteren but the project that Iris has been working on. It sounds like it is pretty well done in French, so this project is to finance printing of the English edition. Fateforge
  25. "We’re planning to have four Crates on the Kickstarter, including Gothic Estate, Modern Life, Occupied Town and Abandoned Village (all names TBC). Across these four Crates, we’re going to cover a load of different periods, settings and uses. What’s more, if you want to pick up four Crates (and who wouldn’t) there will be a great all-in deal during the Kickstarter." The announcement on January 5th didn't have the start date of the KS, only that it would be "soon". Do take a look at the previous Reaper thread about the quality of the plastic. I think it's fine for tabletop and there look to be plenty of pieces that haven't been mass-produced in plastic. However, if you want highly-detailed furniture pieces, I would recommend Tiny Furniture's resin line. Mantic Blog : https://manticblog.com/2019/01/05/12-days-of-christmas-terraincrate/
