  1. I was in on the Chibi project they did earlier this year and it was delivered on-time and the quality was good. This looks like an interesting assortment of figures, including good deals on bunch of Heartbreaker stuff! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/674003445/impact-miniatures-presents-the-lost-ks-mini-projec?ref=friends_launched Their synopsis: Not All Minis go to Heaven Impact! believes that lost and forgotten or unmade miniatures shouldn't stay lost to the hard drive abyss they've been relegated to. Whether they were from discontinued lines, failed or undelivered projects we think they deserve to be resurected, brought into the light, and that's why this project is dedicated that end. Today we give you a chance to get minis that are either no longer available, or never made it the light of day. Over the past year Impact! has reached out to different Kickstarter Creators whose lines of miniatures failed to fund, were never got delivered or finished, or simply were discontinued after an initial printing run. We've licensed or outright purchased everything shown in this project and now all that is left raise the capital for molds and materials and bring these amazing miniatures to backers to you, your friends, and your families and for gamers on tables everywhere!
  2. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chappellm/pirates-of-the-dread-sea I don't think word got around - which is a damned shame, the minis look wonderful. We will be going in for a rulebook and a pirate band each - Megan going for dwarfs while I take the undead. At $4,589 of $9,944. We have the dwarfs from their previous KS - and they are very nice - The Auld Grump - because who wouldn't want a dwarf pirate wench?
  3. Dwarven Forge is doing a smaller kickstarter in June. It's a pseudo sequel to their Caverns Deep line (which was their 6th kickstarter, aka KS6), KS6.66 - Hellscape. This is different than their 7th Kickstarter - Wildlands which will be outdoor themed (trees and such) in Jan 2020. Many of you have been asking for smaller Kickstarters that are more digestible. So we're going to try it! We are going to launch a small, two-week KS with a limited scope. Best of all, it's happening very soon -- KS6.66 - Hellscape will launch in late June 2019! As the name implies, the lava-based project will focus on the fiery wasteland the fiends of the Nine Hells inhabit. The collection will consist of a small number of new sculpts as well as some repaints of some Caverns Deep pieces. EDIT: It start on June 16th (Father's Day in the US)
  4. Just throwing this out there for anyone interested (yes I did back and no, I don't know them)... I did back their last KS as well and was happy with the results. They did a great in keeping people up to date and got all of the files out quickly. The figures look "funny" in the pictures due to them using the print-ready 3D files. I think that at the smaller scales especially, they are enhanced just enough so they will keep their detail and make them easier to paint IMO. Anyway take a look if you are interested! http://kck.st/322b1bO
  5. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/johnwrot/mystery-dice?ref=user_menu Just a fun little surprise I happened across earlier. No pictures of the dice and it's ending today, but some really nice ones on their store and I've friends who own some so I thought I'd give it a go.
  6. "We’re planning to have four Crates on the Kickstarter, including Gothic Estate, Modern Life, Occupied Town and Abandoned Village (all names TBC). Across these four Crates, we’re going to cover a load of different periods, settings and uses. What’s more, if you want to pick up four Crates (and who wouldn’t) there will be a great all-in deal during the Kickstarter." The announcement on January 5th didn't have the start date of the KS, only that it would be "soon". Do take a look at the previous Reaper thread about the quality of the plastic. I think it's fine for tabletop and there look to be plenty of pieces that haven't been mass-produced in plastic. However, if you want highly-detailed furniture pieces, I would recommend Tiny Furniture's resin line. Mantic Blog : https://manticblog.com/2019/01/05/12-days-of-christmas-terraincrate/
  7. This is a new project from Heroforge for precolored or prepainted custom minis. It also has an option for those with 3D printers to buy a pack of 10 of their custom minis as STL files. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/heroforge/full-color-custom-miniatures-with-hero-forge-20
  8. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/cosmo-communicator/x/10803452#/ BACKERS 1,371 Quick Facts Cosmo Communicator is a pocketable clamshell smartphone with a physical backlit keyboard Device features dual colour touchscreen displays and a 24MP camera External 2" touchscreen when device is closed and large 6" touchscreen when device is open - ample space to create on the move. Cosmo runs Android 9 (Pie) and also supports Linux OS, such as Sailfish OS and Debian, with a multi-boot option Built to be the only device you need to carry, and small enough to fit in your pocket, it’s a true all-in-one replacement for both your mobile phone and your laptop. Media Coverage Slashgear "This is just the latest and greatest of the machines the company’s made to fill the gaps between smartphone and laptop“ ZD NET "Tiny Android, Linux laptop: Cosmo Communicator is also dual-screen phone” The Verge “tiny Android laptop …doubles as a phone” The Register "Planet brought the clamshell QWERTY back to the market 17 years after Psion made its last PDA” Engadget “intended to serve as a phone, not just a pocketable productivity machine” Liliputing “… use as a smartphone replacement rather than a smartphone companion” Engadget Japan “レトロフューチャーなデザインに最新機能山盛りのGemini PDA後継機” The Planet Story continues... At Planet Computers innovation is at the heart of our company. Earlier this year, we successfully delivered our Gemini PDA product to more than 7000 Indiegogo backers who supported our mission to kick start a new mobile computing revolution. Now, we are ready to push our vision even further and you can be part of it. In the process of developing our new device we asked our Indiegogo backers, users and followers what features they wanted to have. We are excited to announce that we are extending the range of Planet devices with the Cosmo Communicator, our new flagship device. The Cosmo Communicator is a modern dual-screen clamshell-based mobile communicator with an integrated keyboard. It is built to be a great pocket computer, a superb mobile phone and an excellent high resolution camera. The Cosmo features dual colour displays: it features an external colour touchscreen display for easy phone call control and notifications. Tucked away inside the beautiful and sleek award winning clamshell design is an ultra-wide 6” colour touchscreen display providing ample space to create on the move with a fully functioning keyboard integrated into the device. When open, the innovative clamshell also acts as a support of the device, allowing you to type comfortably. Cosmo’s newly designed backlit keyboard, allows you to comfortably work at night or in dark spaces such as on long plane journeys without the need of external lighting. Disclaimer; I own the Gemini, their previous communicator. Yes, the keyboard works and you can write on it at a decent speed. Unfortunately, on the Gemini, Libreoffice on Debian really lags... like my painting... (Yeah, struggling to catch up.) They're promising a faster CPU with more cores on the Cosmo, but so far I don't know how much faster. MUltiboot OS is possible (I have Debian as default, Android as second and Sailfish as the third on my Gemini), but currently it requires a fiddly process where you download OS images, erase the internal storage on the device, then use a PC SW package to flash it with the images. And multibooted devices don't support the usual Android update system. (I expect the process will be improved later) I'm currently undecided and have about a week left to decide...
  9. About The Origins of the Lost Lands For almost 20 years, glimpses into the world of the Lost Lands have been revealed in the publications of Frog God Games and Necromancer Games. The Lost Lands contain locations now legendary in the annals of roleplaying, from the depths of the massive dungeons of Rappan Athuk, to the city of Bard’s Gate, the Desolation of Tsar, the Blight, the demon-tainted Sundered Lands, the chaotic tumult of the Borderland Provinces, and the fabled Northlands. These publications offered hints of the sweeping scope, deep history, and epic grandeur of the Lost Lands. But only hints. For well over a decade, a Lost Lands campaign world has been our customers' most requested project... ...and the time of the Lost Lands has now arrived! The Primary Reward Over 42 years in the making, this is the definitive guide to the world of the Lost Lands! This massive volume includes the history of the Lost Lands, a wealth of detailed maps, cultural information about its nations and peoples, and a huge gazetteer containing descriptions of the world's countries, cities, waterways and geography. For the first time, readers can explore the length and breadth of the great continent of Akados, including regions never before described, and far Libynos, home of the Desert Kingdoms and many ancient cultures alien to the folk of Akados. The book weighs in at approximately 700 pages in full color, with maps by award-winning cartographers and beautiful, original artwork to place you directly into the world itself in all its glory and terror. Entirely system-neutral, the guide can be used with any game system you choose. The Lost Lands are the setting for a tremendous array of over 150 individual adventures and sourcebooks already published by Frog God Games and Necromancer Games, many providing statistics in multiple game systems. All of this material is available to provide an almost inexhaustible resource of ready-made adventures and epic quests! Future Frog God Games products set in the Lost Lands will be built into the ever-growing canon finally revealed in this volume. About 4000 example pages of Lost Lands Adventures Pictured Above A small sample of some of these already-existing adventures include Rappan Athuk, Sword of Air, Slumbering Tsar, Bard's Gate, Necropolis, Cyclopean Deeps, The Borderland Provinces, The Blight, and Cults of the Sundered Kingdoms. Authors of adventures which have, over two decades, explored the Lost Lands include Clark Peterson, Ed Greenwood, Bill Webb, Gary Gygax, Matt Finch, Jim Ward, Morten Braten, Jeff Harkness, John Stater, Bill Kenower, Nate Paul, Dennis Sustare, and Alex Kammer. The authors of the guide to the Lost Lands include Bill Webb, Greg Vaughan, Matt Finch, Vicki Potter, Pat Lawinger, Anthony Pryor, Rhiannon Louve, Mark Greenberg, Ken Spencer, Casey Christofferson, and Thom Wilson. Shipping for the tapestries (and only the tapestries) is calculated into their price for Canada, the UK, the EU, and Australia. The Lost Lands

  11. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rgdgaming/help-us-make-28mm-hard-plastic-fauns-for-your-tabl/description Quite a long time ago, this project was on KS for the first time. The creator had a lot to learn about material, options on sprues, poses etc ... so the first KS lost momentum. He sure took his time and now he's back and it looks to me (at first glance) that he definitely did his homework. It might me a niche "army", but I'm definitely interested in a pack of those fauns. If some of the stretch goals get unlocked, there is some awesome stuff coming.
  12. What is evil, yet cute? a KICKSTARTER that's what. Since SoC's delivery is in full throttle, it's time to announce the SIBLINGS OF CHAOS. Coming from the dark places of the galaxy, and serving Gods of terrible designs, they march for the total ruination of everything! from the same team that brought us Siblings of Conflict, Impact! 14. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/townsmith/townbuilder-unlimited?ref=discovery_category_newest "The Townbuilder is a web application with which you can create custom 3D printable buildings for Tabletop Games. We provide detailed 3D models in the form of small building blocks that you can then use to create the perfect building for your table. All of our buildings can be printed support free and feature playable interior. You can either start from scratch or modify one of our many prepared templates to fit your needs." This might be a huge step in 3d print files for buildings. With HeroForge, you can design your own miniature and get a printfile for it ... this here allows you to design multi-level buildings and get a printfile for them. This building was created with the use of the software and you can download it from the KS page for free: Open Beta is already up and running (link on KS page) I'm very impressed (and a bit happy that there finally is a project from Germany that is THAT awesome).
  15. Hi All! I happened to come across this project and instantly got sunk into the world of Obsidia. I thought I would share it here with all the Reaper folks! I'm sorry for bumping my own post a few times. After backing this project, I learned that these are first time game creators and they were turned down by some high end famous reviewers at the very last minute due to the COVID situation... Which, in my opinion, is super lame! I don't see how you cannot do a review unless you actually got the COVID! I hope that this post gets Obsidia to more people which would bring many hours of fun and enjoyable play! "A dark fantasy tabletop game with spell casting & area control. The fate of the colony is at stakes; build your empire & rule the realm!" https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/joshbeck/obsidia 1-4 PLAYERS, 90 MINUTES Players take turns exploring the dark realm of Obsidia by placing terrain tiles to create a dynamic and treacherous landscape. They'll send travelers from their home colonies out to found new towns, battling any enemy players or creatures in their path. Players will also cast spells unique to their colony class in order to gain the advantage. When all of Obsidia’s terrain has been discovered, the class controlling the most towns wins the game. Stretch goal unlocked: backers now get the sexy dice! :) Cheers! ~Z

  17. Sorry for the late yell, been the busiest month of life...ever! TooFatLardies collaboration - last few hours of my KS for British Home Front. They're working on a FREE supplement with rules and scenarios for all the minis, not just for the women, rules that will fit with your male and existing figures too for Chain of Command. But of course there are many games and eras you can use em in. As well as women there's hero dogs, pigeons and other critters! Bad Squiddo is just me and I've been working my arrrrse off getting this off the ground, so even a cheeky peek and share would be amazing. And thank you everyone who has backed so far, we've made some really incredible things happen. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/badsquiddogames/women-of-ww2-british-home-front-28mm-miniatures

  19. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/greebo-games/primal-scales-reptiles-and-savage-women-for-fantas About Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order. Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done. By pledging to this campaign, you are stating that you have read and understood all terms and conditions described therein and are accepting them. Therefore, all subsequent interactions with Greebo Games regarding this pledge will have to take this fact into consideration In order: Comparative size between physical prodotypes - Digital Paint for Karimat Blitzer - Karimat's physical prototypes Those who pledge to the project will have a team made of several exclusive miniatures, and these will never be available in the store. This might sound peculiar, since most “KickStarter exclusive” pieces are not part of the teams per se, but rather, optional miniatures, or less important ones. What we’re talking about here, fellas, is giving each backer limited edition models. Later on, people will find different ones in the store, and they won’t simply be mirrored versions, or the same model with an added shoulder pad: they’re going to be different pieces, with different poses and clothed differently. Our goal is to create something that will be more precious, and largely exclusive for our backers, but something that will also retain its price – and that’s why you won’t find any miniatures with outrageous price tags on them, “cause hey, they’re limited edition!”. Nope: the price will stay exactly the same. Will it be worth it to wait more time in order to be sure to receive a custom team, made of detailed pieces created by talented sculptors, with limited edition models, dedicated stretch goals expressly for gaming purposes (as opposed to “stuff to collect dust on top of a shelf”), for the price of a KickStarter campaign that will surely not be the same of the team in the store? The choice is entirely up to you all
  20. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/mystical/space-flesh-bust-collection Launching on Monday 5/11
  21. EDIT: The kickstarter is now LIVE: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/monsterfightclub/monster-terrain/description This is a company set up by some of the guys from Gale Force 9. They posted on FB saying a little over a week after Adepticon (mid-April), these trees are hitting kickstarter, and they can come painted... The sign in one pic says $30 for the trees, with 3 trees in front of the sign. If they are indeed $10 per tree painted, I will be in it three figures...

  23. *Edit* This is live now: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1162110258/reichbusters-projekt-vril Mythic Games has a new ks launching Nov 20. They released an impressive looking video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DT5ffQw_twk Looking on their web page for the project I found a few pictures: It is a 1-4 player cooperative game with a stealth component.
  24. Right now it's just a Notify Me page. Not sure when it goes Live, but it's set to let me know. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/legionsofsteel/classic-legions-of-steel-scifi-35mm-metal-miniatures?mc_cid=0895778c30&mc_eid=38a9aa806c
  25. The Grand Duchy of Reme awaits! Starting in 2002 Necromancer Games began populating its Lost Lands campaign setting one adventure at a time. The Grand Duchy of Reme is the region home to classic adventures released by Necromancer Games for D20/3.x and Frog God Games for Pathfinder, Swords & Wizardry and Fifth Edition. More than 10 adventures have brought life to the Grand Duchy of Reme. The Lost Lands Campaign Sourcebook funded in January is expected to be over 700 pages and all of them are full of information. By necessity each region was described broadly, but there are still a wealth of history, politics and other details to be explored, experience and expanded in the Grand Duchy of Reme. The Grand Duchy of Reme is a system neutral hardcover volume designed to be useful for campaigns independent of system preference. Specific details that affect the characters in the Lost Lands there are System Encounter Books. These companion volumes are softcover (or PDF), that contain reference stats for use with the Region book along with detailed encounter tables for the region. Additionally, 3 classic adventures previously unavailable for Pathfinder, Swords & Wizardry, and Fifth Edition are back. These are offered as either softcover add-ons in backerkit or as free stretch goals in PDF (see reward sidebar). Mock-up of Grand Duchy of Reme. Final release will differ slightly The city of Reme itself is ancient, with world-spanning trade — the eternal citadel of the Loreclans, where the ashes of legendary barbarian kings reside. This land lies near the slow collapse of the nearby Empire of Foere, and the rise of Bard’s Gate to the East. The Rhemish watch these events with cold eyes rather than concern, for they live in vast regions that devour invaders. Their land is eternal; their people can be forced back to the plains, but in the plains they can abide for as long as need be. They are — as a people — the ultimate hunters. The fall of Foere is like the fall of an antelope upon the plains; the rise of Bard’s Gate is little more than the stepping-up of jackals before the body. The Grand Duchy of Reme simply waits and watches — for Reme is the dwelling-place of the world’s wolves. Reme is a unique fantasy civilization whose structure is determined by the one overriding fact of its geography — the country is a vast, grassland plain. The realm is dominated by the culture of the ancient Loreclans: the urbanized and settled ones, and the nomadic clans of the interior. The Loreclans owe a certain fealty to the Dukes of Reme, who are the final arbiters of the ancient law of the plains, but between the Loreclans and the Dukes there are also the mysterious Pashtars: arbiters, judges, and mediators who roam the plains where their service takes them. The city of Reme, of course, is one of the wonders of the world of the Lost Lands, home of powerful spell-casters and perhaps the greatest mercantile and war fleets of the Crescent Sea. It is also, however, steeped in the culture of the vast plains of the interior. It is a place where assumptions are dangerous, for it is no standard fantasy environment — it is a culture that will be entirely new and foreign to your players, a place to truly explore as well as adventure. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/froggodgames/the-lost-lands-grand-duchy-of-reme/description
