  1. The Bones bookshelf, painted to what I hope is a decent tabletop standard. Let me know what you think.
  2. Nothing terribly special, I had 2 sets of these, so I figured, I'd get them done.
  3. I finished up the table and benches from Bones 2 the other day. Still playing with camera settings to try to get good pictures; the first one is closer to the actual color, the second one isn't as dark. Let me know what you think.
  4. Picked these up a little while ago and decided it was time to get them painted up. Very easy, lazy paint job (sorry Andy) but it's enough to look reasonable on the gaming table and that's all I was aiming for.
  5. Hi All, Here's a very old Citadel mini from my collection - FS31 Magic Fountain. I did this as kind of an exercise in creating a verdigris effect on the spouting beasties, which I'm quite happy with. There is some Vallejo "Still Water" in the base of the fountain but it's hard to see in the pics. Comments are always welcome, thanks for looking!
  6. On the Shapeways 3D printing online marketplace I found a shop called Pretty Small Things which sells prints of actual vintage furniture at 1:24 and 1:48 scale. 1:48 is model railroad O scale. It's a tad large for 28mm scale. But only a tad. And those chairs look great.
  7. So here is my version of The Well of Chaos: some close ups: The water effect crept up the sides due to surface tension, but not enough for me to worry... WiP here. Thoughts and comments welcome! George
  8. I've spent May preparing to run a bunch of fun PFS stuff at Origins next week. Here I present some completed furniture pieces to go with my new terrain pieces (Link once I get photos) First the molds from Hirst Arts... Tables, chairs, and a nice bedroom ensemble! Some lovely Reaper coffins and ... Boxes that don't actually go with the coffins at all but are for a different part of the scenario.... Lastly, my victims are heading into a wine cellar, so I needed a few bottles of wine. im not doing anything by halves this month, so why settle for a few wine bottles, when you can make 50! (I wonder if it's fair to count each of those bottles separately for the resolution art paint challenge..... Hmmmmm. ) :) Thanks for looking! AutumnHare
  9. Bonwirn was kind enough to send my husband and I some furniture and accessories from his Hirst Arts molds. So I'm painting them up now Doing basic wood coloring right now. None of these are done yet
  10. Okay! I'm not a gamer, and I'm starting to see that I'm creating a monster... I'm about to have these wonderful (in my eye at least) miniatures that I've poured blood, sweat, and tears into, and I need a way to keep them hail and hearty! I have a 6yr. old, a 2yr. old, a Main Coon Cat, and a new Beagle that thinks everything in the house belongs to him. What methods do you guys use to display/protect your miniatures when you're not messing with them? I've seen the large (and expensive!) gamer cases used to bring minis to and fro, but I really wouldn't get the use out of it to justify the price. I found this at Michael's the other day, but it was $60, which seems a bit much. http://www.michaels.com/Shot-Glass-Display-Case/fr0527,default,pd.html?cgid=products-framing-giftideasforfathersday Unfortunately (or fortunately for some) it was buy one get one free until today, but my budget did not allow for that purchase this weekend. It was very nice, as it had a hinged front and large bays for storing minis on well done bases. However, it does seem at that price that you'd be well on your way to purchasing a large curio cabinet if you saved a bit longer... So to review: 1. I need a case to protect my hard work. 2. I'm not a gamer so I don't need to transport them. 3. I'd like it to be affordable so I don't have to file bankruptcy. 4. I'd like to look nice. Thoughts?
