Normally I stick to Fantasy but recently I acquired 3D files for a wonderful faction of Space Woofs. The Jackals from Onepagerules. Naturally I bought them all... Don't worry citizen, WOOF has no plans to conquer the Galaxy...honest... In the welcome pack of that patreon I also got several Robot Legion Troops and I got some free Alien Hive and Eternal Dynasty minis as well. Combined with a "few" other scifi minis and files I have, I decided it to be time to explore the Galaxy. This is not my first time though. On to adventures in Space! I present the Jackals. First 3D prints are now curing. A Jackal Assault Beast. Three Jackal Nomads A few Power Packs, Backpack/Rocket pack and an Oil Drum. This will make a nice start. Since I don't play the game I will paint what I like and make up my own stories like you're used from me. Official background for the Jackals:

Another leftover from RVE eventually finished! The cloak was painted during Kevin Holderny's Galaxy Painting Class, now I finally managed to finish the rest. Not too happy with the blending on the white fabric, also I've painted better eyes before. In general, however, I like how the mini came out. For the orb on his stave I tried to paint a white opal. The finished product looks more like pearl to me but that's also ok. It's white-ish, shiny and mysterious, so I didn't completely miss the mark. Enjoy, c&c very welcome!

This is my first post here! I have been encouraged for a while to join the forums and share some of the mini's that I have painted. I have been painting for many years dabbling in many styles and mediums. I've gotten more serious about my mini work the last couple years though. I was hesitant to share my work, but figured, "What the heck! Why not!" I decided to start with this model as it is one of my favorites to paint and I just love glitter, man! I painted this up for my first con last fall and it was actually purchased by my bestie, he then requested I add the glitter (to match another halfling mini I did for him.) This is now his alternate ego character (he is the DM lol), which in his campaign ge had only revealed himself to be a helpful travelling halfling wizard until this guy was done. Then it was revealed he was a celestial dragon all along and the main adversary...or something like that lol! Please be honest and feel free to C&C! Ultimately I know the owner loves it, but I would love to see what others think!! And thanks for welcoming me into this community! Oh, and as I am sure you guessed, I did get the Bones 3 Kickstarter so, please feel free to request I share any other minis I might have painted already or will paint :)

My entry for the Spaceship Superstar contest So this is using 77108: Shadow Dragon! Thanks to Ub3r, he provided me the mini for me to compete in the Sci-fi contest. He also provided the idea of a space dragon =P "The planet V-138, a great swirling gas giant located third in its solar system, was ringed by seven moons. Of these moons, only one was inhabitable with a sentient species populating it. These were the Draconis Galaxis, a winged, four legged alien resembling the mythical dragons on Earth. The Draconis Galaxis is not a dragon, but instead an alien that resembles the mythical dragons known by humans. The ancient tales of dragons are actually envoys of Draconis Galaxis trying to make contact with the humans on Earth, but getting mistaken for great beasts and slain. Their planet is in almost constant darkness, with the 'day' being just a low-light change to the landscape as they orbit their planet, so far from the heat giving sun. The Draconis Galaxis therefore has evolved a great tolerance to cold and excellent eye sight to see through the gloom.
