  1. Here's Gregor Clegane and his bannerman! (click on images for better quality)
  2. Painted the Kingslayer! Fun cloak to highlight! (click on images for better quality)
  3. Painted a bunch of Lannisters this week including both soldiers and charactera. Tyrion's sculpt has surprisingly great face and was interesting to paint overall :) (click on images for better quality)
  4. One more from the boardgame, I tried a new green color on her
  5. Fun bunch to paint, I like the leader model. Hope you like them! :)
  6. Fast and simple paintjob, hope you like her!
  7. The last of the starks for some time now, next are the lannisters!
  8. I bought the Mother of Dragons bust at Reapercon last year initially with the idea of painting it up for my dad (who is supportive of my painting but ambivalent towards painted miniatures in general) as a present since he loves Game of Thrones. But, I just couldn't get in to painting it as Daenerys. It didn't click. So, dad will have to wait for me to find something equally cool. Although I did buy him some of those charity water-dot-org chalices which I'm thinking he'll like better anyway... plus charity! And beer! Right, at any rate, I've realized something about my painti
  9. Camera had a tough time separating color from white in the eyes, but looks fine in person. I was a little sad I put quite a bit of detail into a base nobody will ever see because he takes up the whole thing. oops...framed this one
  10. Sansa Stark model from Darksword Miniatures. A friend request since he needed some kind of aristocratic elfish character for a campaign of his. So not really painted to look like Sansa. With Reaper Baron Tervin model. Since he was a young man he has fought battles both on the field and in the shadows silently in her name. Aware of his love for her, she perceives him as far too brash and foolish. Although he hasn't changed much in her eyes over the years, she has come to love him just the same.
  11. Strong Belwas from Darksword Miniatures. I had a better paintjob going in my head but in the end this is what I ended up with. I probably should have made his shirt and pants a different color, but I don't know which.
  12. I painted up some of those Bretonnians I mentioned in an earlier topic, to be GOT themed. I've done a Baratheon knight and a Targaryen knight, and hopefully can paint up more knights from the great houses.
  13. Fat King Robert Baratheon from Dark Sword Miniatures. I'm really pleased with how he turned out. It's actually the mini I'm most pleased with in quite a while.
  14. Bronn from Dark Sword Miniatures. I really like this figure. I painted it last year but I wasn’t satisfied with the paint job. I think this one is much better. The face still looks kind of rough but I think it doesn’t look as bad as the photo suggests. A new and old comparison photo.
  15. I painted up this cool little Darksword figure to be the main villain in our current 5th Edition game. I was thinking some freehand on the robes, but I was very happy with the blending, so I chickened out... The eyes are so tiny, I am pleased they came out looking ok.
