Hi all, I am again guilty as charged to neglect painting my miniatures. Instead I go on converting them...that said, I intend to paint her directly after she is finished to break the pattern. This time I decided to give Bones Mini 77175 a total make over. I found the sculpt very busy and the nose was unfortunately miscast. Anyhow, I am always quick with the blade and decapitated her, took away the sword on her back and got the greenstuff out. I intend to add a skeleton coming forth from the soil beneath her outstretched hand, which required me to rebase her. I started
A couple of multibases for Kings of War (one horde and one troop), including a more practical use for big K (he's just too big for wargaming with). Lots of shots. I had originally only intended to paint up the horde, but found I was running out of room on the base for the original number of minis I wanted to paint, so I added a few more and made the troop to go with it. This is my first Reaper Mini that I have painted to post on the forums. I have recently found the forums here, and am very interested in doing the paint exchanges, but I did want to throw something up so the organizers and other members knew that I can throw some paint on a mini and not have it look like total jank. I am interested to hear what everyone thinks. This was also my first Bones mini that I have done, and did as suggested and not primed it. First coat was a bit tricky but after that everything went pretty typical.
