  1. I was informed a few moments ago, by a coworker, that the headphone jack on my computer must be malfunctioning, because everybody in our otherwise quiet office had been subjected to about an hour of Glenn Hughes singing his guts out on the little-known-yet-fantastic 1985 concept album Phenomena. (Whilst I rocked on, ignorant of the fact, earbuds in place.) Just to sweeten the pot, it's a dark album with lyrics pertaining to terror, Hell, endless night, creatures coming out of the dark, and Old Scratch himself makes a couple of appearances. I am unsure whether to celebrate this little gift I have given my office mates, or hide in embarrassment. That said, in my heart, I understand that their lives have been made at least minutely better, by having dwelt for a few fleeting moments in Greatness. Anybody else embarrass themselves totally in recent days?
