  1. Presenting Cleo de Havilland, younger sister of Horace de Havilland (Who I haven't painted yet), part of the Egyptian faction from the game Twisted by Demented Games. Annoyingly, I didn't realise she had attached to her base a little skew-whiff until it was too late, but I'm happy with how she painted up. As always, any comments or criticisms are warmly received.
  2. I have been working more on terrain than anything else and this is a bit of an unusual terrain feature. This is a British Horsa Glider used during the Normandy landings, Market Garden and Operation Varsity. Primarily used by the British it was also used, to a limited extent, by the American glider forces as well as it was big enough to transport small vehicles like jeeps and pack howitzers. This is a 1/56th scale (more or less) kit from Sarissa Precission out of the UK. Here are a few pictures, it has yet to go through the painting booth. I have also included the links to the blog postings if you want to see the trails and tribulations of this little lasercut MDF kit. http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/06/world-war-ii-project-horsa-glider-from.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/06/world-war-ii-project-horsa-glider-part.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/06/world-war-ii-project-horsa-glider-part_19.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/06/world-war-ii-project-horsa-glider-part_26.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2017/06/world-war-ii-project-horsa-glider-part-v.html
