Haven't been able to get my lights out, I want to do some close up of some of these guys but here is their group shots. If/when I do, I'll update this thread :) I did want to do a bit more detail on them but honestly I'm suffering from can't see syndrome so I left it for now. Maybe when my eyes improve I can get some more done on them.

Here are two of the statues I finished for my Ruined Temple terrain piece. Bast spoilered so it'll be SFW as she's topless. I still need to put another coat of gloss over them, to protect them, but otherwise they're just waiting for the temple to fnish.

Pretty sure I didn't post this already... been sick as all get out. Just took some better pics, still with phone though, but hopefully they show ok:

Ok so, my aussie friends and us play RPGs via Roll20 every friday and we take turns GMing. After a bit of a hiatus we've come back to my game, which is based in my world I call the Land of Oden. It's essentially high fantasy, low tech (though some exists from the 'previous' world, it's considered anathema) - you've got your typical racial archetypes. The basic backstory is there are a lot of independent type holdings, and most people belong to a Guild, if they have a trade. Guilds keep the areas safe, caravans going, food grown, and animals, well husbanded. Anyway, so the PCs are all Guild Journeymen off on their Journeyman's quest (a ritual they all have to go through before being considered full time Guild members). By tradition the quest is secret - they can ask for help, but not say "I'm on X quest, help me find Y" kind of thing. Lots of random quests are easy enough to insert - but here's the thing. I didn't think too far ahead when I decided they were on their Journeyman's quests... and all of them are very different >< I'm having trouble tying them all together =/ I was hoping maybe one of you guys would have some ideas to help out! Quests: Dariac - Dragon-Slayer (kinda defunct ancient order as Dragons no longer exist): find a red herring (deliberately made it so basically it can be anything) Althoniel (Healer): has to find a special plant known to flower perhaps only every 11 years (provided random pic) Mud - (Hunter): find the White Stag (not necessarily kill, just needs proof) Rosen - (Wanderer - essentially woods guide/surveyor type): needs to survey Khurash Dhenfor (an area no one's been in for a generation, give or take) Rincwind - (Mage) - survive to the Guild seat, at the top of the Mountain (planning a surprise for this one, once he gets there) Heldin/!s͎tchp - (Elf) - not really the same, his background is he was cursed somehow into the shape of a falcon (!s͎tchp) and ended up travelling with Mud as a companion for a long time, until a recent spate of magic in a Necromancer's Lair seemed to give him the ability to shift, at least temporarily back to his Elven form (it's still somewhat involuntary) So while this can be an ongoing campaign for a while - and there will be a big Baddie slowing them down etc - I need some way to tie these together >< How do I get myself out of this pickle?! I am a little loathe to simply let them all find out everything they're looking for is in the same place... that seems... just wrong. Idk =/ Help? lol

Finished the bases for these two 'statues'. I picked a more sombre kind of theme, almost winter or fall, as I thought it looked better with these than a bright, summer theme.

Here's my take on this cute little guy. I tried to do more glazes on him than the way I normally paint, and his eyes are violet, which I think came out ok. Wishing I'd been able to get the huge mold line off his head but oh well. He's still adorbs.

Most of these were painted in 2017, I believe, though I don't have track of it exactly. I organize my WIP pics in folders by date, but I gave up keeping 'count' so to speak as it interferes with actually painting and modeling! (If you want to see a particular unit you can probably just search this forum, I believe I've done individual Show Off threads for all these guys). Anyway so here's my current pride and joy :D all my boyz in their glory etc. Hope you enjoy!

Finished my last model of 2017, the dakkajet for my Ork army (with extra dakka). Was tough taking pics of it sadly especially of the little gunners I added on. But anyway here tis: **Edit** His name is "Aknot" btw ;)

This is an older GW kit, little out of scale with the newer ones, so it's a good bit smaller. But anyway I present the Warbuggy! This is one of 3 I'm working on, the other two I've converted heavily and hopefully will be done to show you soon

Finally finished my Kraken Diorama. Tough time lighting it sadly, to where it didn't glare >< but it came out pretty and it's done so I'm happy =) Only way I would have really liked to make it better is to be able to put it in resin but that'd be a bit much lol Most of my WIP is in my WIP thread, except that last stage where I added background panels (supposed to look like the sea under water, I'm not an artist lol) I was hoping to put more fish in but it started getting a little busier than I liked, and plus it was quite hard to show details on all the fish as well as the Kraken so I just put enough in for interest. Anyway, hope you like it =)

Not had time to do a lot of WIP pix except on like instagram, what with all the holiday stuffs we're doing in preschool! (Let me tell you I have glitter in places I cannot get out lol) Anyway here are some burnaboyz I finished earlier - no bases yet sadly as I'm out of the appropriate size & order hasn't come in yet.

So I finally got my Gorkanaut on his base, though not the base I wanted. I tried several times to build a grot sandcastle but it just wasn't happening so rather than keep failing I decided to let it go for now and just finish him off as is. Pix:

Supposed to be 6 of these - I dunno where they other 3 went, likely in with the Frostgrave stuff as wandering monsters but anyway, I did a fairly quick paint of the others. Here they are in their natural habitat:

Idk if this is a KS model or one I randomly bought to fill out our need for giant monsters that are not cardboard cutouts. Anyway, he's done. He was going to maybe go in a desert diorama but I decided against (he didn't end up fitting). I might go back over his claw bits again tho, they seem a lot darker in the pic than they do IRL but theyr'e still just not quite right. Anyway, he's based on a couple of RL pics, mostly going for a shiny red carapace kind of idea. He's not in my WIP thread, so just a quick note, I undercoated him mournfang brown (a red brown GW colour) and then built up to the red with reaper's bloodstain red and later clotted red (my absolutely fave triad *ever*)

I finished my trukks finally! Just took some shots outside, to see how the lighting varied. I have a few bits I have to stick back on... ork stuff is truly ramshackle >< haha but otherwise, they're done =D Waiting another 24 hrs to see how the varnish did, and if I need to revarnish them (really important since I tend to do a lot of weathering and these will get handled a lot)

This is my Spring Exchange mini - per some discussion with my exchange partner, I decided to give her a 'wand' of sorts, instead of a sword. I dunno why but the snake just happened. It seemed to fit. Anyway, to convert her sword arm to a wand, I basically cut and rotated the arm at the wrist, GSd a bunch of the now gaps (including one that happened on the back of her cloak). I whittled down the sword, cut off the hand guard and ended up making a kind of wooden hilt/handle for it (not sure the wood grain comes across). I'm not 100% enthused with how her cloak came out, still trying to really master blending and highlighting. I am pleased with her eyes though, as it's really the best I've managed so far, her skin is ok at a distance, but isn't as blended as smoothly as I'd like closer in. I kinda went with 'better part of valor'* at this point, and decided not to mess with it anymore, for fear of making it worse. The base I decided on a simple overgrown dungeony type, to fit in with her being a RPG mini. Spoiled incase intended recipient would rather have a surprise ;) And also because not sure if her bare one cheek is PG enough or no for the forums.

This is a mini I finished for my cousin :) She loves Pugs and is constantly posting cute Pug videos so of course when I saw this mini I had to buy it and paint it for her. She also fosters a lot of dogs - her current foster just had 11 puppies!! (If you're in ID and looking for a pup, PM me ;)) Anyway, remember Adopt, Don't Shop! This is pretty much tongue in cheek/cute - I don't believe it's unsafe for family etc, but just in case, I'll be polite and spoiler :) (Next time I'll try to remember to take a picture before I ship the mini ><)

So when this model came out I had to have it, as, I suspect, did every other ork player as well. It just screams WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHcoughcoughOrk. Anyways, been working on it for about a week? I think. Sadly it is now finished and I have to find a new project :( :( Sadness.

So it's been an adventure! But I finished this guy today. I don't think I can do anymore damage to him :P You can check out my WIP thread, but here are some (ok, a LOT) of pics of him from just about every conceivable angle. He's got a lot more iridescent than shows up on the pictures :( not sure how to get that to show up. His base is Reaper Ruins vignette 74027. I pinned him in three places to get him to stick to the base, as I was really worried about him falling over.

Finished these finally (yes I know the bases on the back ones aren't done yet) but the painting is done :P Just got something like 2 chariots, a boltthrower, a few lords, a unit of Calvary and I think I can pretty call his army done (at least for now). Really trying to get to more CAV and my Jabberwock this week! So messy pic:
