I can't possibly be the only one who's tripped into this one. A macro lens for my actual camera is ... frustratingly out of budget (I have a Nikon. I also have an ancient (uses FILM!) Canon, and no shame, but this isn't about that..). So. It occurred to me, they make lens attachments for smart phone cameras. Do they make macro lenses for smart phone cameras? Yes. Yes, they do. Only... I am not good at this camera stuff, and have no earthly idea what to look for, let alone how to be sure that said lens and my smartphone will get along. The smart phone in question is an LG G8x Thinq. It's in one of those fancy-pants dual-screen cases, but that's easily amended if necessary for Pictures. I technically do have a tripod for it, albeit not a desk-friendly one (I can fix that, if necessary). So.. well. What am I looking for? What should I avoid? .. why does everything assume you have a gorramn iPhone..?

So, I want to start sculpting. Any advice? Things that I need to start with, tools I need to get? Just things like that. Gosh, I'm such a noob! But, I'm hoping all ya'll wonderful and talented people can help.

Okay peeps, I'm in desperate need of help! And so I figured hey, why not ask ya'll. My Birthday is coming up on August 16th and I plan on themeing it somewhat D&D-ish. Yes, we will be playing a game that is similar to D&D. Anywho, I use the word planning because I'm pretty much out of ideas. Except all I have figured out so far is that we are going to play D&D-ish and I will give them each a figure to take home with them. But, other than that I've got nothing and am on a 40 dollar budget maybe less maybe a bit more. I already have all the figures but one. So, that won't suck up my budget. So, please, please help! Any ideas are good I may or may not utilize them but, it'll still get my brain working better. I've got six people and me. Yeah, I have no friends... Besides ya'll of course... And this is for teenagers not adults so keep that in mind. :)
